I like the simple interface of Resilio Sync, it has helped me quickly sync my files and folders with my other Windows computer. This is very useful, especially in coding projects, where I can code on one PC and resume from another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part about is easy to use and simple. You simply add the files or file folder and then share it via email, a special key, or qr code. I use it along with a docker installation on my truenas server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since the last update the use of advanced folders is not allowing me to revoke permissions to users, so I must create encrypted folders and migrate the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overall: I have been using Resilo Sync for about 2 years now in order to distribute large files between multiple workstations, and an off-site server. When poor SFTP / SCP speeds, and a lack of automation began to hamper productivity I chose Reslio Sync as a replacement for manual file transfers and now experience fantastic transfer speeds compared to SFTP/SCP, plus the added benefit of automation! After the initial configuration, I can't say that I've needed to touch Resilio Sync again except to add a new client, but I know great support is available if ever I encounter an issue.

Overall: Overall experience has been good at having multiple office locations keep files shared/sync simply and easily. It has not been completely hands off and I discovered I needed to upgrade memory on NAS devices as Resilio does consume a fair bit of memory and the NAS would kill the Resilio service if memory or CPU useage becomes too high, but through experience and understanding limitations of hardware and software I find it is now highly reliable and I have peace of mind that all peer locations have an update to date version of all work files.

Overall: We had used the built in Synology cloud sync, but that was starting to get overwhelmed with the size of folders that we wanted to sync. Resilio has no problem with size and will intelligently find the fastest route to send large files. Either via Lan or Wan. Because of how well Resilio functions, we were able to move away from FTP access and Synology cloud sync and start using Resilio for everything.

Overall: Our experience with Resilio Sync has been positive, due to the overall security of our information, since we are in an industry where this factor is paramount. There have been some hiccups in introducing the system to others we work with, but the pros outweigh the cons for us. There are enough features to mitigate an error any user may makes when sharing company files and projects.

Overall: Overall, works very well for our purposes (transferring files over iffy/slow Internet connections to our China partner, where others timed out or were blocked by the Great Firewall). Had a license renewal failure that cost us a day of file transfer with our partner. File permissions don't transfer cleanly.

Overall: Resilio is one of the best subscriptions we have as a team. It is highly recommended if you work with large files that are difficult to email or send otherwise.

This is the perfect solution for backing up your mobile pictures and videos to your own server, file share, or NAS. In addition to "sync" functionality, it also works in backup mode, with a true one-way transfer. In Syncthing, if you delete a picture on your phone, it deletes on your server/NAS/whatever too. Based on the GitHub issues I've read, the Syncthing developers are EXTREMELY resistant to adding any functionality that isn't specifically remote sync (e.g. keep this folder identical to...

Resilio Sync has a few advantages over Syncthing: On Android it can modify the SD card, so you can have two-way sync, and I has selective sync where you can choose individual folders or files using a GUI and leave the rest on the "server". Unfortunately it is not as good at dealing with conflicts, etc. and can screw up timestamps of files, re-create files immediately after you deleted them, etc.

If you make a software that is good and free and functional, and loved by its userbase, you won't earn any points by going commercial and screwing over said userbase that supported it in its infancy, with a poorly thought ot money-grab scheme, no-less. Stay with version 1.4.111, and don't update the smartphone app. Or you can migrate to an alternative.

Resilio is one of the best tools I have ever seen in this field backing up to NAS but also I tried Gs Richcopy 360, the tool is simple, fast, and affordable. but totally both are very similar.
