Its a great place for managing, storing and sharing media content like videos and images. Working for the AMS, a large organization, we often have a lot of files to work with. The UI helps me streamline my files and gives me optimized versions of them ready to share with co-workers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about Cloudinary is speedy in image serving and uploading. You can upload pictures and get links. You can also use it for free and various methods are prebuilt for fetching and uploading photos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In addition to that, beware that you will not be able to downgrade to a cheaper plan earlier than 30 days after the event have passed if you had a spike of traffic. This means you get to pay for two months on the bigger plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Could have more options. It is a little expensive and hard to pitch for that reason. Yes, but it is good even though the price is somewhat annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We currently use Cloudinary to host image files on both our website and Help website. We love using the service and being able to utilize their API and make changes to images on the fly without having to go back and edit the image again. Also the ability overwrite an image if we need to change one is another great feature. We also host some CSS and video files there which is great that they do more than just images.

Cloudinary takes away a lot of the muck that we need to manage images and creatives. Simplotel is like a Shopify for hotels and our hotel customers upload a large number of images and videos. We are able to leverage dynamic transformation of image and videos, resizing, quality parameter setting, format changing, cropping to provide an awesome experience to our customers. It saves us tons of development time and gives our customers a great experience.

We are using Cloudinary for our Timeline feature. People post photos and videos, and we transform them to generate different variants for different device groups with better compression. It is used by the Engineering team in the server-side generation of photo/video variant generations. It helps us in optimizing the size of photos and making the user experience better. Network bandwidth gets reduced with it.
Cloudinary is the best in the market for photo and video transformations. Cloudinary takes customer's requests for special features and implements them very quickly.

Overall: Our clients often need a centralised DAM which can store large quantities of assets. One client wished to run a competition which required them to upload a video from a website, Cloudinary proved the perfect service to integrate with. The development team quickly integrated with the platform and issues during testing were ironed out with the help of the Cloudinary support team. Based on this experience we have rolled out the platform to several other clients over the past 18 months.
