In my oppinion, the best thing about QuickBooks Payroll is its integration with other Quickbooks products. It made it easier to manage time sheets, invoicing, and expenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about QuickBooks Payroll is its time tracking, We can create projects, add workers to that project to work, We can track the worker's locations and the time they are giving to that particular project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

QBA is one of the worst product I have used so far. It is slow, and it hang frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The worst part of all of this is that they have made it next to impossible to get help in a moment of need. First, they want you to review their knowledge articles which have not answered a single question I've had to date. Then if you game the robot you can finally access a chat agent. The chat agents are kind humans, but they do not have much power or authority to help you make necessary changes, and these conversations usually result in a "reach out by phone". They aren't able to provide you a phone number, and you are forced to put your name on a wait list for a call back which is typically 60 minutes out. I have also had scenarios where I was actively chatting with a support agent when a sudden page refresh disconnects me from the chat and provides no way to re-connect without starting completely over. I can handle friction in a tool and the need to reach out to support, but when I'm two weeks past my initial issue with still no resolution and multiple frustrating experiences, I start to become frustrated that the company is not willing to put the necessary resources in place to support their loyal customers. THIS IS a BETA software version. It is full of bugs. It does not integrate with Quickbooks cleanly; every time you have to correct a paycheck you have to call them, every time you want to rerun a paycheck you have to call them, in fact most editing functions do not work at all. The export function does not work correctly either, so you end up with multple repeats in your account ledgers. In general this software should not have been released to the public and needs hundreds of hours of programming fixes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use QuickBooks Online to run our business' books. We track time, invoice clients, track expenses, manage our budget, and more. It keeps our financial position organized.
The bank feed allows for quick entry of expenses and other transactions. The client menu includes a great money bar showing the progress of money into the business. You can create as many budgets as you like and segment by class, customer, etc for better management reporting.

QBO is my firm's primary accounting software for small businesses. QBO is used across the entire organization. It addresses reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial analysis and financial statement preparation.
I appreciate how QBO integrates with banks and remembers transactions to make reconciliations tremendously faster. I love the catalog of 3rd party apps. There is something for every company. The customization features are great.

I own a small CPA firm. I have one employee, a bookkeeper. We both use the product. For my firm, the product addresses the problem of collaborating with non-accountant clients.
