    As a techy person, I found Hopin simple to navigate. It was very easy and user friendly to upload materials and adjust the format for our event. The customer service was responsive and if I had a question they supplied the necessary support. Secondly, I consider the fact that downloading of materials is easy to the attendants, without hitches. Although we had to make some adjustments, Hopin perfectly meshed with our event management tool Attendify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

    The journey has been quite for our recent virtual gatherings. The interface of this app is excellent for real-time handling, which easily engages attendees. Social stream keeps everyone abreast, whereas the agenda is useful in noting sessions and speakers. The feature that I love most is that the event can be customised to fit our brand.     The fatal flaw is that the whole registration and event access process is a hot steaming mess. This is in part because the UI designer is incompetent, and in part because Hopin uses its host customers to get Hopin customers, which is a questionable practice in itself. But the flagrantly unethical business practice is, without the host's permission, they survey the customers about the event. The host has no say on the content of this survey, and the results are not shared with the host. I can't even believe this. The host is paying Hopin, and Hopin is evaluating the host. The host should be evaluating Hopin, and that is what I am doing here. I will never use Hopin again, and I hope this review deters you from making the same mistake.     We hosted two previous events (Dec 2020 and March this year) on Hopin. Even though it was a learning experience for us, Hopin was terrific in terms of the registration process, configuring it for the events and the attendee experience. For this reason, we didn't anticipate the issues with our event a fortnight ago. 20% of our RSVPs never managed to complete the now-different registration / authentication process--our marketing hard work was wasted. We had set up different ticket categories and many of our attendees got complimentary admission. Yet when they clicked on their email link (virtual ticket) the day of the event to join, it took them to the registration screen and people were asked to pay or re-register. So we lost more RSVPs. A lot of angry guests. Never again would we risk our guest experience and company reputation on such a poorly unreliable platform. All those features during an event are irrelevant if there's so much friction for interested guests to join. Maybe it's us but the poor labelling of buttons and the registration/sign-in was a big let down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

    We ran 168 events in 2021 and used Hopin to deliver many of these events to scaling tech entrepreneurs on a global scale. Hopin enables us to easily create multi-stream events, with a selection of panels, networking, and discussion, whilst also keeping our sponsors and corporate partners in a position where they can gain value and access to our community. Hopin enabled us to take our events pre-pandemic from an offline environment and make them available digitally. The ease of setup and strength of product development has made it a pleasure to partner with Hopin for our events.

    We use Hopin for most of our virtual events. We also used it for a few hybrid events, and we plan to use it further in this field. We believe that hybrid events are going to be used more and more in the future and that Hopin is the most advanced and agile platform in the market.

    Overall: Our event development agency works with clients who need to replace in-person programs with online events, often quickly. The Hopin team has helped us figure out the work flow and the platform lends itself to setting up a demo and then the actual event very quickly. Attendees and exhibitors alike can figure out how to navigate in a couple of minutes - and that's the key to a successful event.

    Overall: Based on all the above we'd be extremely unlikely to recommend Hopin. It was a smooth experience for attendees who did manage to join us on the day, but behind the scenes the platform failed to deliver on many levels. At [SENSITIVE CONTENT], the Growth plan is not cost-effective, especially considering the product is not yet fully developed.
