Updates are phenomenal. I'm using the PowerDirector mobile, and it's amazing how granular and vast the effects options are for the price. I pay $4.99 a month and have access to three enormous stock libraries of images, movies, and music, plus I'm using a fantastic chroma key, gaussian blur, and tons of really pretty effects like fire and magic that just make it so much easier to create fantastic worlds. I've played with some other mobile options, and this is by far the best, for me, especially for the price. You can even edit on mobile in 4k. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Power Director is one of the strongest video editing apps available on the play store. It has options for adding multiple audio and video on the same project. It also has the option to control the speed of video by the user. One of the best features which I like is that it can render videos to a quality of 4k which helps users to get excellent results. They incessantly goad you to update - and when I tried to get what was promoted as a "free" update, it put watermarks on my video until I paid. The layers in the timeline are completely opposite to every other Image processing and video editing software in the world. The top layer in the timeline is actually optically the bottom layer when you watch the video. This massive flaw is enough to make recommending Power Director impossible for me. A simple option to flip them would be all that is needed to make this my "go-to" recommendation for video editing. Shame..... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a lot of issues with PowerDirector, such as compatibility ones, which require you to change the end processing of your video. It also has multiple freezing issues and this is a real issue when trying to do something quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overall: Good! Way back, I though of it as the most advanced video editing software I have, not until I realize - After Effects and Premiere is waving at me. Yup, I recommend this editor for simple users who don't need elaborate learning curve. It's simple with editable templates and collateral.
