Updates are phenomenal. I'm using the PowerDirector mobile, and it's amazing how granular and vast the effects options are for the price. I pay $4.99 a month and have access to three enormous stock libraries of images, movies, and music, plus I'm using a fantastic chroma key, gaussian blur, and tons of really pretty effects like fire and magic that just make it so much easier to create fantastic worlds. I've played with some other mobile options, and this is by far the best, for me, especially for the price. You can even edit on mobile in 4k. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Power Director is one of the strongest video editing apps available on the play store. It has options for adding multiple audio and video on the same project. It also has the option to control the speed of video by the user. One of the best features which I like is that it can render videos to a quality of 4k which helps users to get excellent results. They incessantly goad you to update - and when I tried to get what was promoted as a "free" update, it put watermarks on my video until I paid. The long and the short of it is that this software, while otherwise adequate, it is tantamount to ransomware. Keep looking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The layers in the timeline are completely opposite to every other Image processing and video editing software in the world. The top layer in the timeline is actually optically the bottom layer when you watch the video. This massive flaw is enough to make recommending Power Director impossible for me. A simple option to flip them would be all that is needed to make this my "go-to" recommendation for video editing. Shame..... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a lot of issues with PowerDirector, such as compatibility ones, which require you to change the end processing of your video. It also has multiple freezing issues and this is a real issue when trying to do something quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use PowerDirector for all of my editing needs. I have two different YouTube channels and I've found that this program is just as good as their competition that charges much more. It looks, smells, and acts just like any high-quality editing program but without the hefty price tag. I've been using this program for years and although the platform still looks the same the continual improvements make it a great value for anyone wanting to make professional looking videos on their own.

We use PowerDirector to edit videos and combine videos and add some effects as well. I find it to be useful and easy to use. Also, the learning curve to get started on this was easy which was one of the main reasons we upgrade to the paid plan.

I've helped make tutorial videos for another company and, after a brief learning curve, I found it pretty easy to use. (It's mostly being used by the marketing department, not the whole organization.) I also love all the features it offers. It helps us be able to fill the void for needing quick and quality video content for users.
Quick and easy video and audio editing. Great transition options.
