Love Vyond for creating some really cool content for the business and not just that but also personally. It's so easy to use and navigating through the various tools is quite simple, layout is simple and yet very effective when you have to create something. I like the fact that it's not so complicated and scary-looking like other platforms where you're so overwhelmed that you don't even know where to start but with Vyond they've kept it quite simple and as they say, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication and that holds true for Vyond. In my 20+ years in the world of instructional design, I have had the opportunity to work with several video creation software applications. And out of those applications, I would say that Vyond has one of the smallest learning curves, making it easy to produce a quick video in a short period of time. I frequently use Vyond (on average at least once a month) to create coprorate training videos, and have found our learners to be very receptive of this method of delivery. I appreciate the continuous upgrades, the variety of features, and the customer support provided via the Vyond community's bi-weekly office hour sessions and the other training opportunities provided. The process of creating the video is very very long. I feel like the process should be shorter if they have some more template to start with, but they definitely give you a lot of controls. You can choose a movement for an animated character and make a lot of minor adjustment to make it perfect which I think is one of the reason it takes so long to make one single video Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Vyond's themes, text-to-speech capability, and simplicity of color changes within scenes help produce unique videos. It's cool how we can orchestrate the music, arrange the shots, sync mouth movement with text, add shapes and animations within clips, and I appreciate how Vyond lets me save scenes independently and pull scenes from previously made videos. Vyond is very useful for creating presentations within easy-to-view movies, as it introduces many new ideas that make it easy to work with slides, arrange texts and shapes, and easily set the speed of playback. The sharing capabilities also allow me to simply connect with colleagues for help in creating a great creative video.

The options were very limited. It didn't have the backgrounds, props and scenery that would have worked for the story I was telling. I had to really improvise which as very time consuming for an end product that felt a bit hokey.

Text editing and formatting is limited, not as developed as other presentation software. Automatic online saving could be improved to allow multiple users to edit presentations at once. Character models and templates could be improved to allow for more customisation to create videos distinct from others that use the same software.

We use GoAnimate to create animations and characters to use in our eLearning content. It is specifically used by our eLearning developers. What I love about it is that it allows use to create animations quickly and effectively...saving a lot of time and cost on animations.
Creating your own characters provides more diversity in the same style of character than other vendors. It is quick and easy to use. Small learning curve. You can import your own assets. Mouths sync to audio automatically.

While Vyond is heavily used by our marketing department; I have found many use cases in sales as well. Personally, I used the tool to create tailored videos and screenshots for prospecting, client communication/support, and for running technical demos. I know other people in my sales organization use it for similar things as well.

Vyond allows us to take our training content and make it more exciting. I work with a lot of software, which can get really boring in a hurry. Vyond allows me to use animated characters to illustrate key concepts instead of just relying on boring PowerPoints or having the presentation be exclusively software screenshots/videos. There are a variety of characters and props to choose from, and our clients/customers really enjoy the videos since they are more entertaining to look at.

It's no longer being used by the organization because, after experiencing some success with GoAnimate, we decided to use a vendor to make animations that are even more tailored to our specific company. It was being used by the HR Department to inform the rest of the company of specific internal initiatives.
Although the library of objects is extensive in some cases, it's very limited in others. Sometimes editing could have been a little more intuitive. More voices would have been great.

We created a 3 minute song parody and had to come up with visuals to match the audio we had created. After searching for video and animation solutions, we rediscovered Vyond. It was the perfect solution to create our video song parody. In fact, the final animation now has over 500,000 views on YouTube!
Perhaps a bit more customization options more characters to use

Overall: Vyond has helped me to develop content for both soft and technical skills training in a way that is engaging, visually appealing, and fun for adult learners. It is customizable enough to work for most L&D teams. I appreciate that it also allows me to occasionally add some humor to e-learnings (when appropriate for the right audience). Overall: Vyond became a tool we use everyday to create infographic videos for the university's virtual courses. It allows us to present case studies or present a lot of complex data in visual form. We also have used it to create campaign videos for dengue and covid prevention. It's so much more effective to present information in this audiovisual, friendly form.
