Chrome Remote Desktop is SUPER easy to set up, for you and for your end users, especially if Chrome is already widely integrated within your organization. It's got a good range of features for general remote access, and is easy to set up for single-time use, or for continued access to a remote machine. Review collected by and hosted on

Chrome Remote Desktop's web interface works, but Google took away most of the app's features in the migration to a web-based model. Google also appears to have deliberately broken the old Chrome Remote Desktop app. Review collected by and hosted on

Requires a Google Account and has limits on number of saved connections. Sometimes it is glitchy. Review collected by and hosted on

The graphics are garbage and lags frequently; it also hates when you close a window or browser tab. Review collected by and hosted on

I am using Chrome Remote Desktop to access my computer's desktop from my phone when needed. Only used in a single department, single person.

We use Chrome Remote Desktop in multiple ways. The two primary ways we are using it are A: Test content off of our network to verify if there is an issue with a website or if we want to make sure that there is accessibility back into the system from an outside source. And B: If we have issues connecting to a remote machine on the network and none of our other tools will allow us to connect, we will ask the user to send us a support code through Chrome Remote Desktop to connect to their machine to fix the issue.
Allow connection to any machine that authorizes it. Very responsive to commands.

This is being used by the IT department to aid in remote desktop support and to check in on the occasional computer that has monitors for us. It really helps us when we need to assist someone that is at a remote site and we only need to hop on real quick to get a quick peek at their issue and resolve it as soon as possible.
Quick install Fast connection after install It can be used on many computers Helpful for remote connections

Overall: I have had a satisfactory experience with this tool, in my opinion, it is not the best tool of this type on the market, but it has the plus of being from Google and being quite simple to use. For not-so-complicated jobs, it is a tool that I recommend, but if you need something more demanding, I think it leaves a lot to be desired.
