The best part of using Yest is having one central knowledge base containing all the details of one location. We have used this knowledge to automatically keep our listings up to date on so many websites, but also use it to display location-specific information on our own website, app, and emails. We take advantage of custom fields to make it house all kinds of information and use the "labels" as a great way to keep track of which locations have amenities, are participating in a promotion, etc. We find ourselves asking other vendors to integrate to our Yext knowledge graph and labels because it is the best single source of truth. We also find their review response tool easy to use with valuable insights. Although the social posting tool isn't as sophisticated as it could be and doesn't allow for boosting through the tool, it is very handy when pushing content to many child pages. The team at Yext goes above and beyond to ensure your company is making the most out of its resources. For example, for several years we tried to get our remote locations GMB verified without luck but Yext continued to look into the problem and found a viable solution. The platform allows you to enter different locations with their business hours and you can even appropriate holiday hours. Anytime you update hours it automatically reflects on Google and you have the ability to schedule the times as well. We didn't see our business on Yahoo map anymore like it used to be for 13 years. Yahoo directed us to Yext. We got talked into subscribing. We told them what we wanted. We filled out everything they asked. They told us it would take 30 days to see our business on the map and other things to match up. After about a month, we did finally see our business on there. Problem is, it didn't last. I think it lasted a total of 2 months, we even kept our Yext info site and acct updated for months following and still nothing. We were back off the map almost the entire time being signed up, still are today, not within any search engine searches, and my subscription ends next month. Needless to say I'm not using them again. A complete waste of $500 for the 6 mos we paid. Turns out you can actually go through Yahoo directly and pay less! We got ripped off so warning others. Probably won't be going through Yahoo either. This software is wonderful we use this daily at my job and yext is a service that will direct your business to 80 plus directories. We are able to go right into yext and update a address phone number website and it will automatically update it on the listings.

EASY!!!: I have used Yext for 3 years for our small law office to make sure we have good, consistent listings across all the proliferation of business listing sites. If you have a web presence for your business, you likely know how important it is to have your business name, address, and phone number appear the same on all these sites to ensure Google correctly recognizes the business. But if your business is more than a few years old, it likely has many variations on all the listing sites. Going to each individual site and claiming the business, correcting the info, and completing the listing would be a full-time job. Yext gives business owners an easy, one-stop spot to fix many listings at once. Features: Correct business info, tell what the business sells or does, add specials, add photos, manage social media, manage reviews, for many business listing sites, all in one place.

The system is very easy to use and automates a very labor intensive process. Yext is a significant portion of our local SEO and citation building/management strategy. The system is as easy as can be. You fill in the blanks, upload the pictures, connect the accounts, and hit submit. It is that easy. Yext will also monitor for duplicate listings. It would provide a side by side view of the listing it created and the potential duplicate. That way you can decide what to do with it. And if you want the listing suppressed, you ask Yext to do so.

We utilize Yext across our entire organization; we have users in Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Franchisees all the way through to our CEO who is a user! Listings ensure our individual locations are supplying correct info to search engines, Pages ensures that all of our individual locations have a presence online with a dedicated microsite, and Reviews is a big one for us—we use it to collect, distribute and respond to reviews that Yext pulls in, but making sure they are correctly allocated to that specific location to respond.
Making sure our location data is correctly being understood by Google. Taking into account best design principles for our pages layout. Staying on top of Google best practices so we don't have to. Building a very robust place for us to store all our location information. Solid integrations with some of our other key partners, for example Olo, Punchh. Being a very good partner for us, our Client Success Manager is exceptional.

Our search engine marketing department uses Yext to ensure our client's information is the same across all platforms. So often we find clients changing hours on their Facebook page and forgetting to update them on their Google My Business listing which makes people unsure which information is correct. With Yext, they just have to change the information once and it adjusts on all platforms. The only problem I have run into with this software is having the optimization link expiring after being opened once however, I believe that is a security measure they take.
Makes it easy to connect to multiple listings. Makes it easy to troubleshoot issues.

Yext was a partner and used TimeTrade Scheduling links on Yext Pages to allow people to book appointments from their webpages. In addition to the scheduling functionality, TimeTrade was featured on the Yext app directory. TimeTrade location data could be synced with Yext and vice versa. Our customers used TimeTrade and Yext together. Our business development team had licenses and would play around with the software in demoes to show to clients.
