The training included in our package for the rest of our company has also been really helpful in our rollout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked how easy it was to onboard to Bynder. Although it spanned 8 weeks, the process itself was smooth and seamless. Bynder really did the heavy lifting. Our onboarding manager, Nick Nguyen, was awesome! He was very timely in responding to emails and always remembered to follow up if he didn't have immediate answers. He had great suggestions for our use cases and brought a positive attitude to what can feel like a daunting task. I'm excited for our team to use Bynder and see how it can improve our work flows and cross team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The onboarding team of Shelly and Rosali were incredibly helpful (and patient!) in addressing what feels like an endless stream of questions from me and made the move over as easy as possible, particularly given the very niche features that I wanted to implement! The duplicate finder is down, the auto-tagging feature didn't work for a while, the DAM isn't bad if the features work. It's almost like using four different softwares with four different sets of UIs. For digital templates you can only change the color of the background. Not the objects. The guides say that opacity is supported but only if you upload a png - it won't work through color picker. Adobe and google fonts aren't supported. I'll keep this updated as I learn more - we're only in month one. For print templates, it's easier to make all the color and style iterations you want in Adobe and upload them as pdfs than simply make edits. There is no color picker in print. You have to make a jpeg or png for every single color option you expect people to use then upload, tag, and make sure it will show up in the options. Also, the webpage freezes and becomes nonresponsive frequently. It happened twice during a training yesterday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer Service for the last year and a half has been horrible. Our main contacts kept leaving and we were never notified of new contacts. The "Success Squad" was also non-existent. We went as far as calling corporate phone numbers that were never answered. Finally made contacts and had extensive conference calls to go over our needs on 2 occassions with 2 different associates, and once again we never received and follow-up. Extremely unprofessional. We are now shopping for a new DAM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use it everyday in our training department to collect images for various projects. It helps us by allowing us to create light boxes in which we can share images collected from various projects and reuse them for other projects. My team members like it and the variety of images it provides. We also love the feature that allows you to create various folders for example for case studies, scenarios, activities etc.

We are using Bynder across our entire organization. We needed to find a way to better control all of our digital assets and their end-use, and Bynder has been an incredibly versatile solution. When you have various digital files scattered across a myriad of desktops, shared folders, and emails, it's incredibly difficult to manage and is unnecessarily time-consuming. Bynder serves as a single source of truth for our digital assets that reduces the time spent searching for an asset and guessing if the asset you’re looking at is the correct version, and increasing the efficiency of managing our digital assets across the company and with our external partners. It creates a platform that is compatible with all departments and provides accurate and historical information about our digital assets.

We use Bynder across our entire organization, mostly for communications and marketing staff worldwide, but it also extends to our program staff in the US and our in-country staff abroad. Before Bynder, we housed all our digital assets (photographs, video files, interview transcripts, logos, etc.) in folders on our server. You’d have to drill down many levels to find the photo you needed—and only because you knew it was there. We had no ability to search, to filter or to share albums with our colleagues. Whenever we wanted to share an image, we sent it over email—and often received an auto-response saying “this exceeds the file size limit.” To share several images, we would copy and paste the images into a new folder—which meant duplicate images everywhere. Similarly, other files like interview transcripts, logos, and design files were all over the place—some saved together in one folder, others with our designers, others in our personal folders. Bynder has been a game changer—we are now able to search through our photographs and share collections with colleagues or outside graphic designers like we could never do before.
Search -- as part of the implementation process, you set up your own individual organization's filters and tags. When your portal goes live, you can use the smart search tool to find your assets within seconds based on those filter categories and keywords anywhere within the file (name, metadata, etc.). Share -- Bynder's Collections tool is an easy and simple way to share one or multiple images with coworkers - even if they don't have a Bynder account. Analytics -- Bynder recently launched an in-depth analytics tool so you can see how your assets are being shared/downloaded/viewed. It's great!

We used WebDAM through our organization to share sales and marketing documents with not only our internal teams but also with clients and prospects. It allowed us the ability to see thumbnails, search, catalog and share files among colleagues and outside the organization with vendors, clients and prospects.
No ability to report on or track assets being downloaded, sent, etc Hard to find assets unless you knew which folder they were in Expensive for what you get

We used Bynder to manage our marketing collateral and sales enablement materials (e.g. reference materials, battle cards, sales training, etc.) We used it primarily only for the sales & marketing team - it would have been fantastic to have the entire organization using the system, but the per-user cost was just too high, especially since plenty of people probably wouldn't have been using it regularly - only on an as-needed basis. The main problems that Bynder solved were around having an easy way to find different pieces of collateral for specific use cases. For example, my company has multiple product lines that are very different, so it was a good way to ensure that people could find exactly what they needed when talking to a client with only a few applications, or a prospect who was only interested in a certain product. It was helpful to look at the reporting features and see what people were using most (it often wasn't what upper-level managers thought they would be using) as well.
The cost was quite high for what is really not a "core" system. The company was also The cost to do business with when we needed to cancel, even though our subscription had not yet renewed. Wish there was a way to "highlight" collateral in the asset bank or change the default sort order. As it is, older files are stuck at the bottom by default even if new versions of them are uploaded. As a result, the more commonly-used collateral (often the basic overview files/videos/etc which were created first) required a lot more scrolling to get to.

Bynder is used by over 20 locations and is implemented at the corporate and store level across our organization. The power users are the marketers and sales staff. As a marketing technologist, I use Bynder to implement a quick quote or lookbook for our clients. In other words, Bynder was instrumental in helping our sales staff identify and pull pictures from the digital asset management system seamlessly and without much effort. Another great advantage that Bynder has is the fact that it has API support as well as high availability in terms of performance. Bynder is hosted on the cloud and is very flexible in terms of features and customization. I had the opportunity to work with Bynder APIs particularly in bulk tagging and bulk import/exports of data. I've also managed to leverage Bynder to power our image searches that is used across all digital marketing efforts. And all of this is being done via the meta informatino or exif information.
Support Team can be a little slow but that is understandable with a startup company (even though this company is no longer a start up) API documentation can be better because there is only 1 product owner for API function (poor developer getting bombarded with requests) Implementation requires more hand holding especially for the companies that do not have in-house technical expertise

Overall: Bynder acts as a central repository for all of our digital assets, making it easier for everyone in the organization and our external partners to access the most up-to-date and accurate versions without wasting time searching for them or second-guessing whether or not they are viewing the most recent revisions. It establishes a system that can be used across all divisions and which can be relied upon to give up-to-date and comprehensive data on our digital holdings.

Overall: Overall, I really like the way it's setup, and the flexibility you have to customize the product for your brand. We've done away with network folders, we've made more people self sufficient. We now know what assets we have. Duplications are pretty non existent. Got rid of allot of manual work on websites; cropping images, replacing documents etc.
