8. Customer support is mostly courteous but quite bad at actually helping...unless, of course, you pay for their over-priced premium support. When you report an issue like their servers timing out and throwing an "error" message that literally says in the error message to "contact support," they tell you you need to change what you're doing to build a smaller report/dashboard. Even though we built them within the allowed/documented specifications of 30 or fewer Klips/visualizations, support still insists that we must further reduce our report size. Then when you further push for help, they basically tell you, "oh too bad, it's not working; maybe this isn't the platform for you." Klipfolio support does not value your business after you sign up. e.g the next index is 101, but in the next set of 100 records the index count be 256 (records could be deleted or other things happen to it) so it's impossible to work out the index and the only way you can get the next set of data is use the offset value returned in the previous API call, which is impossible to do in klipfolio. I really dislike their training style. It's costly, and you have to pay a lot for a support ninja to help you. If you're a small company, it can run up your bill fast. It is meant for larger organizations, and depending on the level of complexity, a lot of the same integrations could be acquired for free now within the Google Data Studio if you are hoping to utilize this simply for marketing. However, if you need a lot more insights from Salesforce, or Microsoft etc. this can work well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've been running trials for several business platforms for our teams and out of the ones we've tried, Klipfolio definitely has the best value for the investment. The customization aspect of the key performance indicators has been great as different teams within the sales department often have their own specific metrics to measure performance, especially as the focus shifts each quarter.

Very difficult to navigate on the backend, basically have to become a coder, formatting and other things don't seem to be functioning well in terms of user interface, could be cleaner and more modern looking

No database to pipe in data from multiple sources. There are API connectors, but there are VERY limited. For example, Google DoubleClick's API won't let you pull 50% of the dimensions and metrics available in the reporting UI (Datorama's has around 80%, but they do a better job of implementing work arounds).

Klipfolio is being solely used by the marketing team at our company, it provides us a very useful service of consolidating important information into one area to save us time. Having the ability to see different metrics and analytics from different sources in one platform saves us the time of looking at the information we need from the different services we use. It makes a big impact in our SEO efforts as well as our paid search marketing campaigns.
It may seem like a small issue, but to get to your monthly invoice it is pretty buried in sub pages and can be confusing for some to find. When you login for the first time it does take a little bit for all of your widgets to populate its data. When you scroll through a dashboard, the header of the site is very jumpy and a little bit distracting.
