its so easy to find what you're looking for, to configure data however you want to see it, create calculations etc. rather than trying to figure out what table to use to pull data in MS Access, its very instinctual to pull the data you need from Thoughtspot. 1. The tool charges you based on the amount of storage you use, unlike other software which take a one time licensing fee. 2. The tool uses Machine Learning to implement NLP(Natural Language Processing) which allows you to query using plain English sentences 3. The tool does not require a lot of technical knowledge and hence is best for the business people 4. It provides you a SQL query for any search you do

I like the user interface of Thoughtspot. I like the new AI based analytics feature(SpotIQ) Thoughtspot does not have a licensing fees, it charges you based on storage. It is very business friendly.

The software is sometimes glitch, especially while saving worksheets. There is no option to connect live with other data warehouse and databases, however in update 6.1 they are bringing this feature

ThoughtSpot is available across the organization. Some functions have taken a larger leap in self-service analytics with ThoughtSpot. It helps us with reducing cost and improving efficiency.
Analysis comes more naturally in ThoughtSpot than in other tools through NLP. It ties in very well and effortlessly with our fiscal calendar and makes time series analysis by fiscal dates very efficient. Auto ML (Spot IQ) is able to uncover insights that encourage users to dive into areas that they would have not known otherwise.

We have a large data set that is housed in an old platform that only allows Excel extracts. ThoughtSpot has allowed us to access that data quickly and get insights into our program efficiently. We use ThoughtSpot to analyze the program coverage of our stores in Channel retail locations, and it allows our non-analytical teams to quickly and efficiently search for complex and sometimes dirty data in a streamlined and easy way.

We use [ThoughtSpot] as a data discovery engine. We have rolled it out to some of our clients and they use it to build pinboards to assist them to run their business and to report to executives the results of their work and efforts over the past week, month, or quarter.
Print to PDF is not fully supported and that has a big impact on sharing pinboards with executives. In my opinion, customer support is slow to react and often leads to an endless circle of tickets that sometimes never get resolved. I feel like this involves finger-pointing from one team to another and I find it very frustrating. The search bar is really nothing like Google search. In my experience, the cursor moves in odd places and the results of a basic search are far more difficult to get than a Google search. I feel like it's a long way to go here.

Overall experience is good, the tool is smart and it is very business friendly. You don't have to be a backend developer or a data science pro to perform analytics on Thoughtspot.
