The system is buggy. Sometimes changing one date on an invoice (Like send date), changes other dates on the invoice automaticcaly (like due date). I emailed about it but I didn't feel like they cared to fix it. Nothing should change without me changing it. Ultimately, we moved to a cheaper payment processing service anyway Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found it challenging to keep track of the dongle needed to process the payments. If I was not in my office when a client wanted to pay, it was frustrating that I had to pay a higher fee for not using the dongle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I utilize Square Invoices personally to bill for my political consulting work and expenditure reimbursements from clients. It is a simple and easy way to collect payments while providing documentation for my clients for campaign reporting to the Missouri Ethics Commission and the Federal Elections Commission.
Adding a customer to invoice is super simple and takes minimal effort. Payment collection is easy and seamless because Square Invoices allows the recipient to pay using credit/cards. One of the fest features is allowing invoices to be recurring. If my contract stipulates a flat fee monthly, I can set the invoices to recur monthly for the duration of the contract.

I use Square Invoices to send out individual invoices to each of our clients, every month. Overall: To keep a track of everything on Square requires no cost but ordering the products to keep a track costs a lot of money. I could also get referral bonuses if I referred someone to Square but it takes a while to get used to. During the pandemic, I doubt people were going to use Square as much as they used to because you have to use your hands to click on everything and navigate the websites on the screen. It was a great experience using them when I made purchases at the store. It was popular for small businesses to switch to Square.

Overall: Overall, its a good program/app for small business owners, and mini entrepreneurs. BUT there are too many hiccups from the start, and once you have your account setup and integrated into your business, you want everything to go smoothly, you dont want to lose hours, even days trying to submit all the required documents square asks for before taking any holds off your account,etc....

Overall: I've been able to streamline a few business needs however it's still does not give the full performance of a built-in web terminal linked directly with your business checking account. And the transaction fees are not always something to look forward to as a business owner trying to gain and grow their customer base.
