    Freshbooks has a wide variety of tools within its suite of office software. The ability to invoice, view and correlate clients all in the same software makes using it very easy and seamless.     This program is VERY GLITCHY. The biggest problem is when you tell them that it's glitchy, they tell you that it's not and that they don't plan to fix it. The easiest example is when you try to send an invoice, there is no "account balance" on the invoice. So if one client has two invoices outstanding, they can never know how much they owe. Clients are always confused, and you have to manually send emails to tell them what their account balances are. By that point, they haven't paid anyway, since people don't like to do a bunch of work to figure out how much they owe you. This definitely DOES NOT automate your billing experience, as they claim it does, and instead, it requires significant manual calculations by hand to make sure account balances are correct. Another example is using the account statement feature. When you create an account statement for a client, using the default timeframe will yield a report with an account balance at the bottom, only that is not the real account balance. It is just a net of the most recent payments and invoices, but it DOES NOT add up to the account balance. As a result, my clients are always confused about what to pay, unless I manually go in, add up what they owe, and send them a custom written out note to explain what they should pay. I have contacted Freshbooks 26 times to discuss these issues, and they cant even tell me if it will ever be fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

    We use FreshBooks as our accounting software as well as for invoicing clients. They make it very easy to use and track your invoicing process. They also offer an easy to understand Profit & Loss Report to help small businesses with an overview of how they are doing in a given month, quarter, or year.
    Easy to Use Excellent Invoicing System... make it easy to collect send invoices and collect payments. Easy to understand P&L, accounting overview.

    FRESHBOOKS is a life saver! We were using QuickBooks and it was so difficult to set up and maintain. You literally had to be an expert with the program in order to use it, especially with regard to set up. We currently use FB as our accounting system. We create invoices, email them out, set up recurring invoices to be issued by automatic option, we can see very detailed reports for expenses and client details. Also, a huge benefit is the ability for clients to have access to their accounts to view/ print invoices and file disputes. It offers a wonderful component of checks and balances without the awkward dispute. We have solved many administrative issues by using FB here. Our President of Operations even utilizes FB for his own personal expenses. It is totally user-friendly so there is no worry about "training". We waste no time getting a client satisfaction as everything is right there, in plain English. If there is ever an issue or question, the rockstars at FB as always VERY helpful and expeditious with their response and take the time out (unscripted and in plain English) to describe the function you are trying to access. Also, they are open to suggestions and they are always well received. They also have taken the time and thought to not only constantly improve this product, but to make sure we know why certain things are not available. Their main objective is to make sure this website-based program can be used for any industry which is pure genius!
    They are very receptive and helpful if you call for service. They speak plain English and are very personable and engaging. Nothing is scripted. I love how each has such a vibrant personality. Clients can view things with no hassle and you can even upload forms for their viewing so it is a huge time saver! It helps us see at a glance where we are spending, what clients are spending and who is in aging. It is VERY affordable and is a whole solution! It handles every need! SUPER simple to use yet offers so much in depth data!

    Freshbooks has been aware of the BMO problem for months and has failed to come up with any solutions. When it became apparent that the bank connections failed, Freshbooks had a legal obligation to advise their clients that either they change banks or accounting software services. Staying with Freshbooks without these changes was simply not an option. I have demanded a full refund of my money and 60 days to extract all data off their site. If my business is to survive, I need to hire an accountant and bookkeeping services. I will be hiring a lawyer to seek damages. I am posting this to help others. Reputable businesses survive off their reputation. Today's marketplace allows for a lot of pretenders to exist, but eventually the word gets out. Goodbye Freshbooks. Also, I integrated with Gusto didn't work. No one would assist. I paid for Gusto services as well. Not a single payroll was ever processed. ADP processes payroll that day, if needed. They will meet with you. ADP takes care of their customers.

    I've been a dedicated Freshbooks user for about 20 months now and I've got to say that I'm very impressed with how easy it is to use. With my consulting business I have (literally) hundreds of customers so I'm unhappy that I had to be placed on the top billing tier right away and would hope that Freshbooks sees fit to revamp their pricing strategy someday (for instance bill customers by the number of invoices that they write in a month rather than the total number of customers that they have...

    I used the trial and it took about 5 seconds to notice woke politics supercedes all aspects of this company. the interface is buggy and customer service is apparently so overwhelmed that it's impossible to reach anyone. there's more emphasis on what they call "DIB" (diversity, inclusion, belonging) than business accounting. an absolute joke.
