We moved our reporting from Klipfolio to ClicData about a year ago and in the process of transitioning to a new tool, we also researched using Tableau. And we couldn't be happier with our decision to use ClicData. The offering and feature set for the price is incredibly reasonable. The support is top notch and I've seen some of the features I've suggested already implemented. Like any of these tools, there's a learning curve in the beginning but they were fantastic about helping us along. Everyone in our company uses reporting built on ClicData, we even have some of it embedded in our internal systems so users don't have to go to a separate site. It's just an excellent product. Probably the thing I like best is the responsiveness of the team. Support requests for questions are handled quickly and with accurate solutions. New features come frequently and are communicated clearly. And the system is affordable for a grant-funded nonprofit. It's a great value for what we get. Customer Service and Billing. Just try to get in touch with someone about canceling your subscription and there is no one around to answer your questions/talk to. Then they automatically renew, even though you have been trying to cancel. When they finally cancelled my service, they refused to respond to my inquiries regarding refunding me the auto renewed subscription that I was actively trying to cancel.

ClicData is used to aggregate data across hundreds of data sources for our entire company. We pull in data for multiple departments to forecast, gauge, and help in the decision making process. It helps us reign in multiple disparate sources of information so we can get a holistic, singular view of our KPIs and business metrics.
Ease of use, I can put together a dashboard in about an hour that is used by daily. Support, their support team is super helpful and always has detailed insight. Connectors, they have a huge number of connectors that allow easy integration of your data sources.

The initial benefit was a way to display Key Performance Indicators to different production facilities around the country. The additional benefits gained, because of the flexibility, was the ease in which you can deliver an informative page for any type of platform. A quick analysis to distribute was much easier than Excel. It is a very flexible way to also distribute the dashboards to any person, whether behind a password-protected login or just for public viewing.
There are many widgets (charts and tables to use for dashboards). There is no limit to the number of dashboards. Data synchronization is simple with their data connectors. Connect to Dropbox, SQL, Google Drive and more... Each dashboard has its own live link that you can set to use forever or have it expire after a given set of time. The flexibility of the product is key. Use of Azure for data storage and data connectivity to just about any type of data source is a big benefit.

Some of the documentation for their advanced functions is lacking. Getting your data to display in the manner that you expect can sometimes have a workaround you need to jump through.

I wish there were even more widgets for the dashboards such as calendar layouts. It would also be nice to be able to query the back-end data using SQL Studio. It would be nice to change data connections from the dashboard to dashboard even though they have the same fields and schema.

Overall: I build solutions for customers by taking their available data and adding valuable information to this data, such as risk management models. Doing this in manual reporting, traditional Word, Excl or PDF reports are no longer what they are looking for and Business Intelligence are becoming more and more the requirement. However, some customers simply do not have the time nor the money to spend on rolling this out or to buy a BI solution if they only have a requirement for a few users. These customers then generally try to get this through a 3rd party supplier. This can be through customised software or by being a distributor of a BI product. My model works around BI, not install and roll it out but simply to build a solution in my licensed platform and to provide the customer with the amount of users they require and not to force them to take a minimum amount of licenses. The Clicdata pricing model along with the ease of use to develop dashboards allows me to provide customers to have access to what they are looking for, without having to pay huge amounts of money towards aspects they don't need or require. Clicdata therefor works perfectly for me, as a reporting tool in my own business as well as for my customers.

Overall: Unfortunately, you only remember the way any company treated you in the last interaction and they fell far short of any reasonable expectations of customer service. The least they could have offered was to credit me the remaining time left on the subscription, which would have been 11 months and approximately 22 days. This is a reasonable request, as I should not have to pay for a subscription that I no longer have access to. Basically, if they would have responded in a timely manner and credited me, my overall opinion and ratings would have been higher.

Overall: Now, I can make more detailed and fantastic business reports to analyse the data. I had switched from different business management or dashboard creating software, but find the ClicData to be the best. It is straightforward to use and helpful. The pricing of the software is also justified as compared to the features it offers. I would recommend this software to all the business to analyse their data.
