We moved our reporting from Klipfolio to ClicData about a year ago and in the process of transitioning to a new tool, we also researched using Tableau. And we couldn't be happier with our decision to use ClicData. The offering and feature set for the price is incredibly reasonable. The support is top notch and I've seen some of the features I've suggested already implemented. Like any of these tools, there's a learning curve in the beginning but they were fantastic about helping us along. Everyone in our company uses reporting built on ClicData, we even have some of it embedded in our internal systems so users don't have to go to a separate site. It's just an excellent product. Probably the thing I like best is the responsiveness of the team. Support requests for questions are handled quickly and with accurate solutions. New features come frequently and are communicated clearly. And the system is affordable for a grant-funded nonprofit. It's a great value for what we get. Customer Service and Billing. Just try to get in touch with someone about canceling your subscription and there is no one around to answer your questions/talk to. Then they automatically renew, even though you have been trying to cancel. When they finally cancelled my service, they refused to respond to my inquiries regarding refunding me the auto renewed subscription that I was actively trying to cancel.

ClicData is used to aggregate data across hundreds of data sources for our entire company. We pull in data for multiple departments to forecast, gauge, and help in the decision making process. It helps us reign in multiple disparate sources of information so we can get a holistic, singular view of our KPIs and business metrics.
Ease of use, I can put together a dashboard in about an hour that is used by daily. Support, their support team is super helpful and always has detailed insight. Connectors, they have a huge number of connectors that allow easy integration of your data sources.

The initial benefit was a way to display Key Performance Indicators to different production facilities around the country. The additional benefits gained, because of the flexibility, was the ease in which you can deliver an informative page for any type of platform. A quick analysis to distribute was much easier than Excel. It is a very flexible way to also distribute the dashboards to any person, whether behind a password-protected login or just for public viewing.
There are many widgets (charts and tables to use for dashboards). There is no limit to the number of dashboards. Data synchronization is simple with their data connectors. Connect to Dropbox, SQL, Google Drive and more... Each dashboard has its own live link that you can set to use forever or have it expire after a given set of time. The flexibility of the product is key. Use of Azure for data storage and data connectivity to just about any type of data source is a big benefit.

I wish there were even more widgets for the dashboards such as calendar layouts. It would also be nice to be able to query the back-end data using SQL Studio. It would be nice to change data connections from the dashboard to dashboard even though they have the same fields and schema.

Overall: I use ClicData every day, whether it is creating new dashboards or just consulting the ones I've made before. It keeps me (and the rest of our leadership team) up to date on how each team (and sometimes each individual) is doing. The fact that it links with our CRM and our website and Facebook and pretty much everything other system we uses means that we have one central place to look for the high level information we need.

Overall: ClicData is a great BI Solution! Based on our implementation experience we consider it covers the most common and complex user requirements. Overall: It allowed us to take complex data sets from SQL and create a series of complex cross tabular queries and present them in simple to interpret KPI reports. It is reliable and simple to use once familiar with it and the data loader insures that the data for reports is as up to date as it needs to be.
