The platform is relatively easy to set up and maintenance of existing memberships is pretty easy. We use the membership sign-up forms and the CMS tools. Don't know how it compares to competitors as we haven't used a competitor. Lacks features that scale with growth. I would like to see improvements such as the ability to change prices, incorporate enterprise tiers, customizable profiles, more integrations with community platforms like Slack. Also, more dynamic analytics dashboards to help with membership maintenance. Memberstack is great for simple membership management and integration with a website for content management. However, if you are scaling and need more complex membership tiers, the ability to make changes to memberships, and low friction with customers in making those changes, you might want to evaluate something else - at least until Memberstack 2.0 is available and you know what features will exist. We are using it to create memberships that have different access on our website. We have not had many issues with sign-ups which has been helpful. Our business has grown because of memberstack but it is now stifling growth as we scale.

Even though you can use a service like Google Firebase, which is mostly free, Memberstack makes it so easy to implement a log-in functionality on a Webflow interface that we're happy to pay a little bit more to save time and make changes easily. You can see that Memberstack has its limits because it's still version 1.0. I would really love to have some more integrations we can use in combination with Memberstack instead of having to use Zapier for example. Also, I would love to be able to let members sign up with their Google accounts, etc. Just try it for yourself, you'll see the added value after the first time you'll use it. We are hacking together an MVP/beta version of our application using the combination of Webflow and Memberstack. As a startup you have limited funds and time, so you can't waste time trying to figure out how to implement a log-in service like Google Firebase Authentication work in a way that gives you the flexibility you need in an early-stage startup. Given Memeberstack's reasonable pricing and the flexibility and agility it provides us development-wise, it was a no-brainer to use Memberstack to authenticate users.

Memberstack is the best way to add gated content to your Webflow site. We have added gated client portals to our sites with full dashboards in minutes! On top of the ability to add much-needed features to your Webflow site, the Memberstack support team is second to none! Easy to use, makes our agency more money, and the support is outstanding; what more can you ask for? At the end of the day, this is a no-code tool so there are going to be some limitations. If you find a limitation, someone in the support groups or forums likely has a solution, you may just have to do a little bit of digging! Adding gated content to our agency site, which is used as client dashboards to manage all of our workflows with clients, as well as our payments. This has resulted in better, more accurate work as well as made it easy to set up monthly recurring payments without having to chase down clients every month.

    - The ease of integration into my Squarespace website. - The beautiful interface! It's awesome. Doesn't make my site look cheap. - Simple to use with very user-friendly messages. Never had issues learning to use the app. - Advanced features allow me to do fanciful conditional content in my Squarespace website. - Customisable! - Speed - no impact to my site speed - Memberstack cares about security (love it! -https://www.memberstack.io/legal/security) - Some documentation is slightly out of date, but nothing major. - Can't find a bulk function to delete or edit members. I am in a company running an event. We decided to put a Register-Gate on our website, requiring visitors to register with an email address before they can access an exclusive content. I got 6k members using Memberstack, and Memberstack more than delivers to what I was looking for! Moreover, I'm using Squarespace - not the most customisable choice out there - but Memberstack works like a charm. It is designed to work with any website that you can insert a header injection code and custom code on any page. Lastly, I had concerns from some users about data and privacy. When I looked into Memberstack's security policies, I am very happy to see that Memberstack takes security seriously and encrypts my members' data in their database.

It just simply works! Setup was incredibly straight-forward, and the out-of-the-box dashboard template is a wonderful place to start building! Specifically - I am writing this review in response to a customer service experience I recently had. I submitted a question on the site, the response I got was a custom video tutorial direct from Duncan, one of the founders! In my 38 years on the planet, I have never received such complete, and helpful customer support for a question I had. These guys set the bar Really High! I'm excited to see how they grow the platform! I am still getting my feet wet and we are planing out our greater eco-system that Memberstack will play a fundamental roll in. I haven't encountered any specific issues at this point... I always assumed that having membership functionality would mean huge development costs, time and full-time administration. Memberstack checks all the boxes! I highly recommend this! Our company is still in the dreaming phase, but we are on the road to integrating with our business automation software, which will hugely impact our day-to-day operations as well as our client-side project management. All very exciting!
