4.5NextCloud is an amazing file creation and hosting service. The clean and user-friendly interface of NextCloud enhances my overall experience. I appreciate the level of control it offers over our data, ensuring that our information remains secure. The best part for me is the server creation feature. The added security features like end-to-end encryption, two-factor authentication, and password policies are a reassuring bonus. Moreover, being open-source and self-hosted in nature means I can access my data anytime from anywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
4.0A tremendous cluster of add-ons and apps for NextCloud makes it much more than fair a record framework. It coordinates a triumphant work of user-centric highlights and performs synchronization and security accomplishments of expertise. In expansion to advertising a number of extra security highlights like two-factor confirmation and secret word rules, it utilizes end-to-end encryption to protect my substance. It is fair brilliant how it underpins concurrent altering and co-authoring while empowering real-time collaboration on archives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
5.0It's easy to use, easy to integrate with other software, easy to deploy, and has a great community that is always available for help and provides plenty of third-party apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
0.0Nextcloud was our last pain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1.5Autre point, le service demande des machines informatique performantes, il utilise beaucoup de la puissance de la machine, ce qui peut tre une contrainte pour une socit qui ne bnficie pas d'un parc informatique performant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
2.5Lack of integration support. Poor API integration support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5.01. The user interface is really great.2. Large amount of data can be stored and shared.3. We can create our own server in it.
5.0Cuando se trabaja en equipo se puede tener la posibilidad de compartir documentos sin perder el control sobre estos ya hay la opcin de bloquear su escritura o que solo sea de consulta.
5.0I use self-hosted Nextcloud for me and for some of our customers and we are all satisfied: in a click you can save, share, search your files and documents. There are many extensions available as OCR, photo retouch and so on and you can connect also external sourced as S3, Google Drive, Dropbox and others.
3.0troppo spazio occupato e difficile gestione dello spazio sul PC
3.0I wanted to leverage its online collaboration capabilities to work with my team. However, I encountered recurring problems with the online edition, and it works poorly, leading to significant frustration.

10.0We use Nextcloud to collaborate between geographically diverse workers, utilizing a combination of its mail & document sharing, mostly, to expand our presence through person-to-person communications and onboard new individuals organically.
Email File sharing Document collaboration
10.0We use Nextcloud to share files with clients and internally keep track of documents. It was incredibly easy to setup, instructions are very clear to every user, easy to customize for our corporate theme and generally offered much more security, data privacy, cheaper pricing (self hosted, self cost) as well as most importantly: modularity. We could grant a user terabytes of cloud storage if they needed to, give specific users less, etc. All previous NAS could be integrated through quick plug-ins and SMB, additionally the apps for it already being supported on every operating system was helpful. All in all, a 10/10 experience from a security, data privacy and user experience perspective.
Fast up/download speeds Self-hosted Free and Open Source Easy to install and setup Easy to use for coworkers and users
10.0Nextcloud is used as a core alternative for our key services: files (internal and with clients), calendars and address book, kanban (deck) for agile development, chat and edit/comment files online. It is used across the whole organization as a central hub which operates as a bridge between departments. It addresses the need for:Privacy, no activity or data are ever analysed.Digital sovereignty, all of our data are on a server which we control 100%.Single software/UI for several activities.Accessible also on mobile (iOs/android). Ease of installation/maintenance (sysadmins). Ease of use (users).
File sharing (internal, public or federated). One software, many activities (files, address book, calendar, chat, edit, email) ... Groupware, sharing between users or groups is really easy and finely controlled. Integrations and many apps.
7.0We're using Nextcloud mainly to offer our clients and customer a way to exchange files with our company, since other tools we use do not provide such a functionality in a convenient way. In addition we also host data there that is shared with customers / clients to review and get more support information. The feature our customers love is the option to securely send us a file with drag & drop, without having to use other (non compliant) public services.
Slow in comparison to other solutions May be complex for the start since there are lots of apps and features May be not focusing on core topics
8.0We use Nextcloud in the whole company. It's an excellent tool to replace a team network drive, and especially for sharing files with outside users in a password-protected environment -- we use this daily. We also use additional tools such as calendars and scheduling.
Online editing of office documents is limited. Mobile phone app doesn't always sync immediately. Videoconferencing tools are resource intensive.
8.0Nextcloud is used as a fully flagged PIM solution (calendar, addresses, messaging) with the addition of easy file sharing. With the available desktop clients for all major operating systems and mobile clients, everything can stay in sync. As this product is open source and can be hosted on-prem, the only costs involved are resources and administration. The basic applications that come with Nextcloud offer file viewing of PDFs; if you're looking for office functions like word processing, there are various plugins.
Sync conflicts need to be resolved manually in some cases. It's not very straight forward to setup versioning for files. Creating a preview of files sets the server under heavy load.

3.0Overall: As mentioned in the last point above: 3. UI is poorly integrated with the OS. It is usable, but it can be better. Compare scrolling in browser and scrolling in a list there. You will see the difference. 4. android upload/share is not reliable. User experience in the android app leaves much to be desired. For example on fairly modern phone and on wifi connection, the UI hangs on every screen for some time (sometimes fractions of seconds, but sometimes for multiple seconds). This is unacceptable. If I want to show my friends a funny picture that fits into conversation and can not open it very fast. It is a frustrating experience. 4.1. What is more important is that the file sync function works reliably. And that is not a case, at least not in the android app. When my wife selects some photos or videos that she wants to move to nextcloud folder and only a subset of it actually gets moved. What can I say, please check which of 100 photos were uploaded and retry those that were not uploaded. First, have fun finding them. Second, watch that it works this time, or you have to repeat. What do you think she tells me? Oh, I like how this peace of software works. Definitely not. And that's frustrating to me because I setup and maintain the nextcloud instance.
5.0Overall: Nextcloud was easy to find and download, easy to install and get running, and super easy to use. I love having all of my groupware (web meetings, contacts, calendars, and email client) all in one place.
5.0Overall: Nextcloud has helped me consolidate my work into a lot fewer online resources. The Hub has really reduced the need to log into multiple services at the beginning of the work. So wonderful a resource.
5.0Overall: software well done, easy of installation, easy of use and rifh of functionality, there are some bug, but it offer an satisfyng user experience.
5.0Overall: Considering other lots of features and tools Nextcloud is very best application for use and its simplicity

4.0I love open source software, and [in the story of NextCloud and its OwnCloud roots](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nextcloud#History_of_the_fork), I side - overall - with NextCloud. For reasons of freedom and openness and trying to make the world a better software place. But... I won't use NextCloud in the near future and the reason is that my needs aren't met by the NextCloud client. It seeks to allow me to sync my files between multiple computers. But I have - _literally_ - hundreds of thousan...
5.0I have been using Nextcloud for file sharing and as a collaboration platform for almost 3 years now. It has improved amazingly over the past 3 years and now i do not have any google apps on phone at all. Contacts, Calendars, Files, everything synced to my self hosted Nextcloud. Even for those who can not or do not want to self host there are amazing providers out there who will give you control over your data.
5.0Nextcloud works without a flaw, havent found a single bug or con. But I would only recommend installing it through TrueNAS Scale because its only minor downside is that its a pain in the ass to install on bare metal linux distro or VM, just go with TrueNAS it is basicly intergrated and super easy, 1 click away. 10/10 and it's 100% free!
5.0Nextcloud keeps on getting better and adding features to help to improve workflows. At the same time, it can be used very bare bone for file-sharing.
4.0The best solution for my private cloud: more configurable and stable than others. The best for help make my docs really privates!
5.0If you are planning on self-hosting, I'd recommend Nextcloud! Its great and has a lot of features
