It is very lightweight. You can run it on a Mac or PC with low specs. It is fast compared to other software. It is one of the best tools for surfacing forms and creating parametric patterns. It is very versatile - you can use it for industrial design, transportation design, architecture, etc. It can import and export to different formats like STEP and OBJ, which is very helpful. It is a very flexible tool, with an easy interface to undertand and navigate. I use it at my work for initial ideation of new products and have used it since I was in school. I love the ability to do NURBS based design in a program that is straightforward and easy. The program is great for modeling 3D and 2D designs and is easy to teach/learn. The subD menu has also allowed for flexibility in sculptural modeling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The design modeling community is littered with more powerful and more functional software. If there is a need for very basic design and sketching in the design process, this might be a useful tool, but otherwise use another product. Overall: It's an amazing 3d Drawing app that with version 7 consists of Nodes (grasshopper) and procedural design). Rhinos render is pretty and easy to use. Overall this program is worth every penny however it needs some time and build to be worth to use it on Industrial Enginering actively(over Solidworks).

Overall: The logic of the program and the way its organized is super helpful. Rhino allows me to create objects in multiple ways but there are too many issues that force me to switch programs constantly so as to be able to fully define my objects without errors.
