TinkerCAD is an open-source, kid-friendly digital computer-aided designing platform that enables users to design, create, modify, and print 3D objects, experiment with circuits, and even allow your kids to learn coding using blocks. This platform is great for students to learn the design process by combining multiple simple objects to make more complex shapes.

5.0I accidentally discovered TinkerCAD on a 3D printing forum. I was immediately blown away by how easy it was to setup the account and get started. It stores designs on the cloud which can be accessed from anywhere. The tool are simple and intuitive to access. You can even import files from other softwares and incorporate into your own design. Specially for regular 3D printing folks its a everyday tool that cannot be looked over, its literally like making LEGOs. Its fun to use, and is functional. If you get stuck, there's also a very nice forum with a very nice community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
4.0What I like about TinkerCad is that I can simulate the code and compontents of the Arduino without implementing it on the physical way. We can test the functions and the circuits by the simulation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
4.5Tinkercad allows you to model both simple and more complex designs, of which, can then be downloaded for 3D printing (.STL or .OBJ) or laser cutting (.SVG). Tinkercad also gives you the abilty to draw circuits, as well as join online classrooms, these of which are further excellent features - making Tinkercad great for a learning environment, and a great introduction to the world of CAD. 3.0Las herramientas ofrecidas estan demasiado orientadas al aprendizaje de un usuario novel, por loq ue los resultados no sern nunca jams profesionales del todo. Es una herramienta ms bien educativa, y dentro de ese mbito cumple con creces y de sobra. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
3.0As simple as the tool was, it caused for some difficulties. I found it hard to align some edges of certain forms absolutely perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
3.5The program sometimes works a bit bad, not allowing us to work properly. That's why our mark is only a seven of ten Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

4.0Overall: My overall experience with Tinkercad have been quite positive. I have used Tinkercad to onboard my students into the world of 3D printing and to help them develop confidence in the design process. It is a great resource to introduce students into the world of 3D printing and could serve as an excellent resource to help students to be able to use OnShape and other more advanced 3D printing tools in the future.
5.0Overall: My overall experience with Tinkercad has been positive. Tinkercad can be used by novice or experienced users. If you need a certain part for something around the house that you can't buy at a store, you can use Tinkercad to design whatever you need. Then save the file and print it off using a 3d printer. I have learned so many new things about 3d modeling by simply using Tinkercad.
4.0Overall: Overall, it works and I've had a good experience with it. I think for elementary students more needs to be streamlined and simplified before I fell comfortable using it with my younger kids in my STEM classroom. I enjoy that it is a great free resource and think it is great exposure to CAD design but can cause frustration with how to toggle around different tools and such.
5.0Overall: It's been a great experience usingTinkercad, I use it for educational purposes, teaching college students how to design and 3D print.
5.0Overall: I have almost zero complaints about this software. It has exceeded all of my expectations.
3.0Overall: I use TinkerCAD to design parts for instruments and my own creations to be 3D printed.
