Kissmetrics has many qualities that have been positive for our organization, most notably secure web data analytics and tracking customers, content and social media submissions quickly from our desktops and mobiles. It is a straightforward installation tool; it has taken us a few minutes and allows us to enjoy excellent visualization and customization options. What I liked the most is that it provides safely and reliably a large amount of data and information that allows us to control better what we need to perform as analysts; we use it to make decisions based on data, and in my opinion, we are happy with the results we have obtained. It's a tracking and analytics tool that has been well-liked within my organization; it allows us to understand how users interact with our products and services. I love the ability it has to track individual users throughout the journey, from first visit to conversion; this allows us to see how key metrics such as time-on-site and several visits evolve and take the necessary steps to improve the user experience; it also has a variety of valuable reports and visualizations to identify patterns and trends in user interaction with our site. Another great attraction of Kissmetrics is its integration with marketing and analytics tools; this is very useful for having a panoramic view of our marketing strategy and its results. No easy way to extract data through a API, Support is slow, we have problems with the javascript snippet, it's expensive, there haven't any new feature in years, the metrics dashboard loads very slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The contact, with Ryan in particular was a complete mess. The contracts were very deceiving and they did very little to understand where we were coming from or what we wanted. Not only a complete waste of money but some of their tactics bordered on scam behavior. Would never recommend this to anyone as there are several other companies who can do this with more honest and favorable terms. They clearly just wanted to charge money regardless of what their product did or did not do. It was an utter disgrace the way they charged us and continued to charge us despite us requesting a cancelling over and over again. Greedy and dishonest service. Kissmetrics is a GREAT Google Analytics 360 alternative because of its UI, the way it tracks liking, buying and abandoning carts. The installation can take some time, but it is worth it in my opinion.

MixPanel was on my short list. Kissmetrics seemed to display the relevant information that I needed, it integrated with the tools we were already using, and it had a strong focus on marketing metrics, where as Mixpanel seems to be more focused on Product Management. Since starting we haven't looked back. Kissmetrics was the right decision because it does focus on the right metrics, the support team is great, and it integrates easily with other products like Optimizely.
The Kissmetrics product is particularly helpful in identifying holes in the funnel. We are able to track user behavior on multi-session basis which is the big differentiator from Google Analytics (we use both). With Kissmetrics we have been able to identify users who are likely to convert. We are also able to track our conversion rates on every page on our site. I really like the Kissmetrics Dashboard as it gives us a good view into metrics for our business. We keep our most important website metrics in this view and I go there once a day to get a digest of everything that is going on. The product integrates well with Optimizely. We love to run A/B tests and Kissmetrics is where we store most of our web conversion data. Track users by Channel.

Kissmetrics has helped us in web analytics by using it to make data-driven decisions. For needs covering general market analysis topics, I can get accurate quantitative support. We can also seamlessly track leads, content, and social media submissions. This allows us to quickly change content strategies and social media posts to cover the most compelling topics. Kissmetrics is the company's most acclaimed program.
It is easy to install; most people install the tracking code and run it in a few minutes. It has excellent viewing and configuration options and can provide me with a lot of security and consistent tool management according to my needs. This tool provides a lot of information and data; I can use this information and data to control better what I want to play the analyst role. I can track sessions from desktop and mobile.

I run social media for myself using Leadpages and heard about KISSmetrics. I checked out their infographics and blog. They provide a wealth of information without having to hire an analyst. It's more advanced and in depth than just regular analytics.

Overall: I am a daily Kissmetrics user, I start off my day checking my morning email to look for anything odd that might show up in the top 5 metrics that indicate product performance issues. Then I use the population feature to check out the most important cohorts of my users. I generally get around a dozen questions per day asking about feature use, or adoption rate, and I use Kissmetrics to pull those answers.

Overall: Terrible. I never even properly used the platform and had to pay 3 months worth of the paid plan in a single day. The support said that there's nothing they can do as it was my choice to sign up and put my credit card information on the platform.
