Of course, as with any other machine translation engine, it has its limitations. The quality cannot be 100% trusted, but its input is a good starting point. I would never publish DeepL's output without making sure it is revised by a translator, of course. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When DeepL first came out, it used the built-in Squirrel installer and was a very good app. Now they have switched to 0Install.net which is known to be malware! Shame on you DeepL! Now my machine has been entirely taken over by this CRAPWARE!

DeepL is CRAPWARE! Do NOT install! DeepL used to be a great app. Then they switched from Squirrel installer to 0Install.net. This *WILL* infect your entire PC! It will take over your entire installer software library, so if you now when try to install anything (like MS Teams) all it will do is install DeepL over and over again. You will be unable to rid yourself of this crapware without completely reinstalling your OS. DO NOT INSTALL! You have been warned.

A fantastic machine translator. English Dutch translations are nearly flawless. They're actually way better than those of Google Translate. English French less so, so I'd definitely check it out if you have the chance. _[Edited by donaldaberdeen, November 30]_

Sorry. Not better than Google translate. Doesn't seem to know many languages. Tamil and Sinhala are noticeably missing.
