In some visualizations I would like to have a bit more of autonomy to run my own specific configurations. For instance: mark with colours the cells in a metric-sheet depending on conditions over the numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are a startup with a limited budget and, after a review of our options, Holistics became an excellent choice to get us going in BI without the typical huge annual expense. The team at Holistics immediately responded to one of my requests for an enhancement to the tool before we had signed our first contract. Incredible! I have not ever had that kind of customer service. It is a powerful tool for a reasonable price from a great company.

The drag and drop functionality makes it easy for non-data users to learn, and eventually create their own reports for exploration and analysis - the "fan out" errors are a great way to alert users if they are potentially making a mistake. The modelling layer forces analysts to think about how to reduce overlaps in code (i.e. reusing models across datasets). I really like the "matches" date filter operator, as it reduces the number of clicks and mental processing required from users during selection.

Integration with DBT was the initial attraction and demonstrates a clear understanding of where the modern data stack is headed. The UI remains simple to use but at the same time meets most use cases. Customer service is responsive and helpful.

The web UI. Oh my its one of the least usable UI / Web I have yet encountered. Buttons are unresponsive. Things needed done are nested deep and imagine having to traverse unresponsive elements. I have always complain to my boss on why some reports are not being tended to, Ill simply say its unusable how are you to expect me to work

1. The major drawback is Drilldown feature not available like Power BI 2. Creating Timeseries filters, dropdown takes more time in holistics. Which needs improvements. 3. Very less interactive. 4. When emailed large dashboard with wider bar graph, few bar lines in that gets shrinked and creates confusion for users. It would be much better if you could address this better.

Overall: Holistics dashboards have become an integral part of our daily routine at ARD to help with timely decision-making. Five years back, there were only a few teams having access to data, and it was like having a door you should step through to access the data. So not everyone could go through that door because they didn't have the key for it. But right now with tools like Holistics, everyone has the key to unlock the right doors, and via the dashboards, they can access important information about the platform's usage and about how users interact with our content.

Overall: Holistics has successfully become part of the fabric of our business, underpinning our efforts to become data driven while offering good value for money for the number of users and representing a low TCO due to low admin overhead.Coming from a Looker background, I was very familiar with its concepts of analytics-as-code, and generally we have been able to achieve everything we needed in terms of reporting. The experience can lack the polish of Looker but this is definitely fuller featured than Looker in its early days.

Overall: We have several products competing for engineering resources, and having a product like Holistics saves us the time from building the reports and dashboards ourselves. The fact that it has a robust scheduled delivery feature, we always start our morning with reading our product metrics delivered to us via Slack and e-mail.
