4.5As a SaaS solution provider, we were looking for a professional services management tool that provided the key elements of project performance tracking (tasks, margin, etc.), team utilization, resource planning, and finally project execution collaboration with our end clients. Kantata OX provided a combined and integrated solution to address all of these needs in one package. The onboarding and adoption process with the Kantata team was excellent. Our implementation manager set a very clear path for us to succeed - ensuring we did not go too fast or too deep/wide at the start, but focusing on the key elements of the product that we needed to implement successfully to drive the initial value we were looking for. We are now 2 months into the post-deployment phase and we are using Kantata OX effectively to track our ongoing projects, get visibility into team utilization, and provide a collaborative interface for our end clients. The last aspect is highly valuable - having a single sheet of paper (Task Tracker/Gantt) that our customers can see the plan, the progress against that plan, and can track their tasks that support that plan as well. 4.0We have been using Kantata SX for a little over 1 year now. This gives us a good handle on all of the benefits of using this platform. What I like best is that we here at Metafora, can get very close to having one source of truth for resourcing and project health. We use Kantata SX (connected to Salesforce) so that gives us an even bigger boost at that one sournce of truth, from the Opportunity to the Project end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
4.5One of the challenging areas of the implementation process was an attempted integration with HubSpot as our CRM. The goal of the integration was to automatically create projects in Kantata based on deals in Hubspot that hit a certain milestone, with the end goal of forecasting our potential resource demand based on the sales forecasted deals. Due to a combination of how our Hubspot instance was set up (we had to set up the integration to work with line items versus the deal level) and what appeared to be some limited experience with Hubspot integrations on the Kantata team side, the overall results of the integration did not meet expectations. We were left with ongoing manual clean-up of auto-generated projects in Kantata for deals that ended up closed/lost and some other fields did not sync effectively. The overall lesson learned is to do a bit more due diligence in the upfront proposal stage with Kantata to verify the integration could achieve the desired goals within the constraints of the existing architecture of your Hubspot instance. 4.0It took quite a while to get used to the interface. It's not the most intuitive platform (and having recently seen a demo for Kantata OX the difference is considerable). I am excited that some pages in Kantata SX are moving toward lightning, which is a great start in looks and performance and I hope nagivation will become even easier. I also dislike some of the platforms restrictions when it comes to upgrades. The need to hire service delivery comes up often for my company and it can be frustrating as an Admin. I would like to see more features that Admins can administer with detailed help documentation to assist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

10.0Mavenlink has very well helped my affiliates to effectively manage and organize projects, resources, invoices, timesheets, and expenses. Its easy-to-use features and user interface is what we love. It helps in a critical part of the business cycle from project management through customer invoicing management. It automates a lot of manual tasks like scheduling and assigning the resources on the projects based on their availability.
10.0We are a small management consulting firm and use Mavenlink mainly for time tracking, project tracking, budget/expense tracking, resource planning, and analytics. Everyone in our organization uses Mavenlink to submit hours and expenses and management uses it for detailed margin, budget, and utilization tracking.
Time tracking is incredibly easy and intuitive allowing for you to add time to multiple projects on a single sheet - also easy to distinguish between billable and un-billable time. As an admin it is really easy to add people to projects and change cost and bill rates quickly. The financial analytics when you include the insights module is very well done and easy to slice and dice the data. We don't use it for detailed project management much (more for the time and budgeting features) but it's really easy to add a project, add some tasks, and assign people to it with their cost and bill rates. The resource planning tool is really neat as well - we are still playing with it but I can see it adding a lot of value for us. There are a lot of training resources available and videos as well as a live chat feature that helps take questions off my back. Expense reporting and approvals is really easy.
10.0We have fully integrated Mavenlink as our time tracking, project management and invoicing platform. This is a global company platform and has allowed us better visibility on projects, resources and tracking.
