The extensive list of applications included in Zoho One is the best thing about it. There is at least one application for almost all your business needs in Zoho One suite. In some instances, there are even multiple apps that can fulfill your requirement. Do you need an accounting application? You have Zoho books, invoice, expense, inventory, subscription. You have Zoho CRM to maintain your leads and customers. There are Zoho campaigns and marketing hub for your marketing team. Zoho Analytics for BI and business analytics to make dashboards and reports. The best part is that all these applications come tightly integrated, i.e, you do not have to pass data between these applications manually; it'll all happen automatically in the background. All these come at a meager price. I don't think there is any other suite of applications at this price point; hence, Zoho One is a lifesaver for any start-up starting out. The list of applications can become extremely overwhelming when deciding which one to use for which case. This can become even more daunting since even the Zoho support staff won't be able to tell you fully which one you should use. For example, Both campaigns and marketing hub helps you create marketing campaigns; now, which one should you use? Or Zoho books can manage subscriptions, inventory, invoices, and expenses, but there are separate apps for these needs too, so should you use a particular application of just Zoho Invoice? You can end up in analysis paralysis while deciding which isn't beautiful. The second problem is you might not even need all the applications in the Zoho One suite; now, there is no way you can remove a few applications from the billing. You will have to either buy the entire Zoho One suite or buy the applications you need individually, which will make the overall billing very costly Zoho One gives us a bunch of applications that empower us to run our business smoothly. It has benefited us immensely since we do not have to look and search for other third-party applications for day-to-day activities. Since most of the applications are very easy to implement and run, we do not even need to hire an additional resource to handle the suite, and that's a good save on the expense.

the ease of use of zoho project notifications when collaborators complete tasks. being able to keep track of the consumption of costs and hours is very easy for each project. it is very useful to create templates for new projects generate labels to easily build reports by tabulating them in excel It would be nice to have a direct integration with Power Bi to do online reporting and not go through Excel. It would be good when integrating it with an mpp file, it would be the other way around, that is, to be able to export the progress to an mpp When we evaluated software for project management and time control, our main focus was on a single tool that would allow us and be as simple as possible so that end users would adopt it very quickly and the proof of concept that we carried out with Zoho project and the support from the parent company that gave us the demo was very useful, which allowed us to make the decision quickly. To be able to have an order of all the projects that we carry out in the company, measure the consumption of hours and effort of each project separately and globally for the entire team and thus be able to have control of all the team. have centralized in a single portal the upload and registration of hours not only of formal projects but also initiatives and use the tool to manage the hours of each of the employees. It gives us the opportunity each quarter to measure the total hours executed not only in projects but also in tasks of internal dedication to the company, and to be able to measure the overestimation or lack of resources at some point in the year, which guarantees us to hire people knowing that we are going to have her in occupation.

The best thing about Zoho is living in one single echo system. You don't have to switch between multiple applications to complete your daily tasks. The seamless integration between the Zoho products is ice on the cake. Sometimes there will be a decision paralysis. When you have multiple integrations that you might not need but still have to deal with. That can ruin your overall user experience Just give it a try before deciding & also they have a good sales team who will understand your use-case and help you set up the right products to solve your problem. It solves many problems, For example, if you a small and medium business & you don't have many resources or funds to hire new ones. In those cases, you have multiple apps which come in handy like Zoho Creator (LOW Code Platform), which reduces the need for a developer to automate the internal processes. Once the internal processes are taken care of automatically you have more time to work on what is important rather than spending time on backend tasks.

Sadly I like the tool when we started examining it; however, our minds have changed - as it's not compatible for Zoho users who use the EU Data Centre, whilst we use the COM Data Centre. We have encouraged two clients in the UK to move across to using Zoho Mail over their other mail systems. We organised all their emails to be migrated. We recently decided to move all our project management and invoicing systems from Asana and Everyhour to Zoho Projects and Zoho Invoice. Once we set everything up, we started inviting our clients over, this went smoothly for our clients that don't use Zoho mail; however, the two other clients are not able to access it as they use EU Data Centre and we use the .Com Data Centre. The advice we have been given is that they should use their non Zoho email accounts to access Zoho Projects and Zoho Invoice, as there is no way they can access the .Com Data Centre or we migrate across to Zoho EU Data Centre. This is absolutely rubbish, we cannot expect clients to move data centres because their system cannot work across their own two Data Centres. We have paid for an enterprise solution and our clients are not interested in using their personal emails to access tools that are for their business? And Zoho suggestions for us to move across to your EU Data Centre is also not a great resolve, as what happens if we get a client that is using Zoho .Com Data Centre? This is a terrible customer journey and one that Zoho needs to sort out ASAP. As an agency, we cannot play games with our clients - especially when it is down to Zoho's lack of compatibility across their own data centres. We have now spent hours on the phone and customer service to try and get this resolved - absolutely no joy. This makes us look stupid towards our clients - hence - I wouldn't recommend Zoho Projects to any agency that values their clients. As stated above, we cannot resolve any problems with using Zoho Projects and now have to examine moving away from Zoho entirely, we will also make this recommendation for the clients we brought onboard to Zoho. We will not recommend Zoho to any future clients, unless this can be sorted ASAP.

It's a SAAS tool integrated with the employee base, allowing for easy assignments and communication. It is wholly dismissed from any standard project management process (PMI, PRINCE2, etc.). It has no facilities for capturing project requests, business cases, project charters, or project canvases - the tools required for good project initiation. It lacks a project-level artifact repository, the WBS creation scheme is counterintuitive and cumbersome, and it lacks easy dependency linking and task and subtask creation. It has minimal stakeholder management capability and no risk management or budgeting/budget management capability. These deficiencies combined mean Zoho Project lacks essential tools for properly planning a project, which translates into difficulty tracking the execution of any project. It is little more than a robust task tracking tool. I am at a loss as to why it gets such good ratings other than those given by people who do not do project management as a profession. This tool is so bad that I am taking the time out of my day to write this review. If you are a PM and need a tool that can help you manage formal projects and programs, this is not that tool. Being able to link tasks to employees and send out assignments and status is not the most important function of a good PM tool, and that is all this system has to offer. Do not choose this service if you need to do serious project management. It causes more problems than it solves. The only benefit is company-wide communications capability.

I like how easy it is to use. Create a task, add it to a project and boom, you are done. There are many different ways to organize groups, projects and tasks. It's hard to see exactly what your team is working on at one glance. The dashboard is unorganized and it needs some added features. Zoho projects is good for a team. If you need a project management system for a one man show, I do not recommend zoho as it has too many features and is too expensive. Before creating your system within zoho, discuss with your team how you want to organize. At first, our team was very unorganized because we didn't have a system to adding projects and tasks to Zoho. Once we created task templates, it was easy to start a project and know who was assigned what task from the beginning. I highly recommend taking advantage of the templates. We are able to easily assign tasks and see where we are with projects through the task trackers. We are able to keep documents within projects and edit them within zoho, a great feature.

Unfortunately I have yet to use the software outside of a Project Management in Engineering scenario so it would be hard to say where it would not work. In general this would not be suitable for highly-complex project that require multiple clients and outsourcing.
The ability to track multiple projects at the click of a button: Zoho Projects has the unique feature to jump between identical screens of a project (E.G., viewing tasks) in one click. You can select another project at the top nav-bar, and instantly be put at the same screen as the previous project, but for the now selected one. When viewing resources, tasks lists, its easy to jump to other projects without sifting through multiple channels to see the same information. Staying on top of tasks: Zoho has a variety of ways of telling users that they have tasks due or that are overdue. There are different mechanisms that allow easy tracking: Email confirmations, a clear and concise user dashboard, and also a Google Calendar integration that keeps employees abreast of what tasks they should be engaging in. The famous Gantt Chart: As an Engineering company, the Engineers that use the software have found the Gantt Chart feature both simple and productive. Having the ability to customize the charts with filters and convert them to PDFs allows any department to easily relay project timelines both internally and externally without having superfluous information left in the visuals. When showing accounting tasks or sales tasks within a project, users can easily with as little as two clicks, get the information they need in Gantt Chart format and ready to print.
Support Feature: Currently Zoho does not offer direct phone support. They allow emailing to customer care and on rare occasions will ask to setup a phone conference to discuss details/problems that users are experiencing. The turn around time on getting questions answered is mediocre at best. In urgent cases, one can expect at least 6-8 hours before a response is given. Customer Access: Although Zoho does offer a customer portal for clients to view project timelines and details, it has little ability to manage what exact information a client can see. There are general limitations in privacy where you either allow a customer to see all information, some, or little at all. There is no 'nit picking' where you have to conceal certain information. Requesting Features: When it comes to business-specific needs, Zoho does not seem to be thrilled about adding customization to our company. Asking for items such as an 'information sheet' for a project that would need to be filled prior to creation seems to be a daunting task and replies from support are generalized saying they 'will implement in the future'.

We haven't used any other PM type projects so I can't say how Zoho Projects is vs some others but we've always had lists of things to do on ruled pads and white boards and while it functioned, using Zoho Projects significantly made a huge difference to our entire team. Plus, if you need to go back and view history to see something being all cloud based, it's possible. Previously, on the ruled pad, once a task page was completed, it wasn't archived so if there were any issues, there was nothing to reference. Plus, if you wanted to know if something was done, you had to call or email a co-worker to ask and with Zoho Projects, depending on your access/permission level, you can simply look at a project and see it's status.
Any task group that can fall under the heading of a project whether you work it alone or in a team collaboration setting. And if it's something that is repeated as part of the company's normal operations i.e. web design, the creation and use of a template will significantly speed up the process as well as make sure no steps are missed. The challenge is deciding on including the necessary tasks without being too insane. What I've found is it's better to err on the side of insanity initially, and then you can group some tasks together under the same heading if they are typically done at the same time as each other and by the same person.
We use it to manage our sales orders as there are lots of moving parts which are necessary to get client orders done properly. I use it anytime I have a new idea I want to put into motion. As I can create a list for brainstorming, feedback, specific actions necessary in order to test and or implement the idea. Unrelated to business, it's a great way to plan travel in order to make sure you don't forget those important things like passport, flight arrangement, client meeting confirmation, and meeting prep as far as what specific documents or things do you need to bring with you. And since everyone is on the go and expected to keep up with work, the mobile/tablet app makes it a breeze to keep up, work on, and create new projects.
It would be great if some of the project printing functions could be enhanced. I love the way it visually looks on screen but on paper not so great. Pricing isn't crazy expensive at $25/month per user but would be great if there was a discount provided or a package deal if using many of the other Zoho Suite of products. The trial allows for 1 Project which is nice but I don't think it adequately allows someone to properly evaluate the app and to get a feel for it. Seems like allowing about 5 would be a much better way for someone to get the feel for it.

Our organization has recently adopted Zoho Projects for our usability and user research division. It is being used to view, track, and manage individual tasks as well as the overall status of projects, each of which typically involve 5-15 team members. Often times each of our roles and responsibilities are essential to the project as a whole but do not always cross paths in the way of day-to-day tasks. Zoho Projects is aiming to provide us all with a central location to see project statuses without the need to reach out via email, phone, Slack, Skype, or any other means of communication.
My work involves projects of 5-15 people with numerous projects running simultaneously. Prior to Zoho, I did not have a central location from which to view all project statuses at once. Zoho looks to provide this and also looks like it will deliver. I am anxious to see how our organization's use of it develops. At this time, I feel I am likely to recommend Zoho Projects because my organization has made great software decisions in the past so I have a level of trust already that the research has been done that Zoho is the best solution for our line of work.
Multiple views are available which allow me to choose which is easiest for me to review my projects and tasks. The ability to see others' tasks and responsibilities helps me to see where a project is in its timeline and estimate or know exactly when my tasks will be available and need to be completed. The dashboard view offers customizable widgets so I can truly make my dashboard work for me by only displaying the pieces that are relevant to my work and not be bombarded with illustrated graphs of data that have no relevance to my responsibilities.
Onboard training seemed a bit lackluster as far as my feeling excited and/or prepared to dive right into using Zoho. (In fairness, as our organization is early in the adoption phase, few projects have been implemented into Zoho and so there is not a lot to explore just yet). No initial drive or motivation to get started. Generally I am excited to use and explore new software or SAAS but, for reasons I have not yet identified, I did did not feel this with Zoho. Instead I quickly adopted a procrastination mindset of "I'll take a look at this later."

I've been using Zoho for some time after MS Projects fell out of favour with me. Not only have I had no issues with the software, but it's intuitive and easy to use. Feature set is great, and they're pretty generous giving you one project for free. I figured I'd try it just the once but I've since paid for it and have found continued success with it.
