Everything is easily accessible from whichever space you choose to work. There is a very clear overall view, with readily available communication tools close at hand. Would like to be able to view all members of a department as the main heading with their respective projects under their names. This is company-specific though, as our team members are the most important heading rather than the project title. It is much easier to assign custom work between members of the design team as it is easy to see who has the most capacity at a glance. Being able to track the stages of a project through the design process is also helpful in seeing where there may be too much pressure in one phase. For example, we can now space out when designers move into prototyping phases, and schedule product shoots and launch dates so that they do not overlap and create strain on other departments. The record-keeping and timelines also help set benchmarks and track performance.

There are quite a good number of features that I love in TeamGantt. 1) The drag feature for the timeline bar is the most frequently used one. It is so simple to use. 2) The allotment of team members to a particular task with hours assigned against them. 3) Indentation of tasks under each group of tasks. This is a great way of maintaining a hierarchy of activities in the project. When I have to move multiple timeline bars from one place to another in the Gantt chart; it does not allow me to move it to a place where I want to drop the timeline bars. One of the best features of TeamGantt is that I can create an embedded URL of my project and share it with the stakeholders in my projects. They can view the live project schedule anytime by bookmarking it on their browsers. Since it a web applications; any updates I do to my project schedule are immediately updated for all the stakeholders who have access to the schedule.

I really like how easy it was to start using it and how many things I can do on a free version. I still recommend buying at least a Standard plan, but even the free version is enough in most cases. The flexibility of Teamgantt is stunning too - you can do basically anything with your chart. I used to work at an outsourcing software development company and we kept a track of hours, so using teamgantt wasn't completely covering that one, but I'm pretty sure one of the pricing plans include hourly breakdown and tracking We're building a software product and I'm basically planning my whole backlog and roadmap for it in Teamgantt. I use smth else for the task tracking but I'm feeling like I could even switch to Teamgantt completely at some point. I'm using the same chart to update our shareholders on the progress as well and communicate with the marketing team to plan their promo campaign according to our release schedule.

I like that I can easily and quickly create projects, assign people to roles, and keep them and my self abreast of progress. Many of my projects are very similar, so the ability to turn a project into a template is very helpful. I love that I can link documents to tasks and that I and others can add notes to tasks and even email those notes to selected individuals. I like that it resembles the familiar structure of MS Project, but does not torment me with a ribbon at the top. I love that it is constantly improving, and yet those improvements are always so intuitive that I begin using them without realizing they are new. I like that the system is so easy that I use few of the plentiful user guides and the need for technical support is so low that I can't remember the last time we needed help. It doesn't actually do my job for me, I hate that :>). If I were to suggest improvements, it would relate to how multiple people track time on one task. I'm not sure how they could make that work better. Our last tool did not allow two people on one task, requiring us to create the task separately for each member. That was worse. Simple to setup, simple to use, effective, and at a cost you can live with. This is a great project management tool. This tool addresses all my project requirements. It allows me to assign tasks and receive reports from project participants. I couldn't ask for more.

TeamGantt is a one window solution provider, where I manage my documents and even carry out conversation with my team members about the project update. Also this tool equips my team with the latest files, and latest reports of the chats that were carryout on a certain project. Together with my team we are capable of scheduling our work assignments and each of us has the transparent idea about the working of the other mates and in this way Teamgantt keeps us alert about the weak working areas. Somehow it is not cost effective tool, it should focus on its packages otherwise if I talk about the services that is highly appreciable. This tool has become space in the software market just because of its quality and reliable services. It is most suitable platform for efficient workers which teams want to work efficiently they must give it a try. It is very much diverse in its nature and there are many features like exporting of the excel sheets and other files, which makes easy dragging and sharing of the data across the entire organization. I also want to highlight the color appearance of the charts which gives a clear vision of the project status. Also this software offer time tracking and easily I calculate the working hours and the amount of time spent on each project, this feature helps me to invest my effort according to project importance.

I love that the columns on the gantt chart are easily moveable so you can widen them if you need to see more of the chart. I also love that you can toggle between the Gantt view and the List view. I use the gantt view when I want a visual of my project schedule. I also use this view if I want to see how different steps in a project interact with each other. For example, sometimes one step is dependent upon another one being completed and the Gantt view easily shows this. I use the list view when I quickly want to look at a step in the project. It is easier to find in an organized list then it is on a gantt chart. I dislike the option to add percent completed to a project. I do not find this feature useful and it sometimes clutters up my screen. I am never adding percentages to the TeamGantt software and therefore do not find this useful at all. I would definitely give TeamGantt a try and see if it works for your business' needs. I have loved it and have found that it has made my life much more simple. I am solving the business problem of organization and project schedules with TeamGantt. Before I had this software, I was constantly making lists of deadlines with pen and paper. Now that I have a digital way to organize all of my deadlines, I have found that it is extremely useful.

Our team uses ClickUp for task management. Clickup has a Gantt chart feature, but it's based solely on the tasks we create in ClickUp, so in order to create a client-facing chart, we'd have to completely change the way we assign tasks to our internal team. We use TeamGantt for the sole purpose of creating project plans and viewing project statuses at-a-glance. You might be able to use it for task management, but we don't.
TeamGantt is extremely simple to use, so onboarding new users is quick and easy. Creating new Gantt charts is very efficient, especially given the ability to create custom templates. If what you're looking for is an app that allows you to create Gantt charts, there really isn't a scenario I can think of where TeamGantt would not be appropriate.
Creating a Gantt chart is very simple and takes significantly less time than creating one manually. TeamGantt gives you the ability to create and save templates so that, if your team has projects that follow the same basic plan, you can create a new Gantt chart very quickly using your custom templates. TeamGantt has a report function that makes it easy to see at-a-glance which projects are behind, which are on time and which are ahead of schedule.
I wish TeamGantt had the ability to easily track different iterations of the Gantt chart over time. For example, a lot of our project plans need to be updated due to delays as we progress. Currently, if you want to compare past versions of the Gantt chart for a particular project, you either have to create multiple Gantt charts for the same project within the app or export each one as a PDF and store them somewhere so that you can go back when needed. I wish TeamGantt integrated with more third-party apps. For example, we use Clickup for task management and it'd be nice if we could integrate the two. The sharing function is not ideal. Whenever we need to share a Gantt chart with a client, we have to export it as a pdf and email it to them.

Clarizen One was not keeping some important features. TeamGantt offers a spotless perspective on the Gantt diagram and outwardly is ideal to see who is chipping away at what assignments by the bar. However, what leads me to buy this product is its sharing abilities. This joined with the capacity to implant it in site pages has been basic for emanating timetables to customers. TeamGantt is working amazingly and providing efficient services.
I can undoubtedly make new assignments and plot timetables by clicking and hauling. In case you're as of now utilizing an item like Teamwork or BaseCamp, the achievement schedule is extraordinary for an everyday view - however for complex ventures, I was having a difficult time seeing the higher perspective in any detail. TeamGantt permits me to impart my diagrams to different clients without the requirement for login.
In TeamGantt, clients can remark on any undertaking and keep their visits inside the errands. Reports can likewise be connected to any undertaking. Clients can channel the errands by the due date and what their identity is relegated to, and they can change over Gantt graphs into PDFs. The arrangement is accessible for each client each month's membership premise and offers support using telephone and email.
Where TeamGantt misses the mark is in their general item clean. The client experience and underplaying configuration are completely irritating. Something as straightforward as possible requires minutes to sort out and may not be conceivable if the site didn't record it in its set of experiences. Resizing the diagrams is torment and you can't resize the errands segment.

TeamGantt was the most familiar name amongst them all. Because I had also used TeamGantt before, it was easier to bring this one is above the others. They all have their perks, but I felt that TeamGantt had that ease of use and familiarity which gave them the edge over the others. Except for Microsoft Project. I didn't like that one at all.
When you need to manage a project - especially if using distance employees - then this program is perfect for you. It will not only help you manage them but allow you to collaborate with them. Users can make notations while you assign tasks, remaining part of their involvement while also standing separately so they can work. If you have individuals who do not care about time tracking or transparency, then don't use the program. However, if you have willing participants who see the value in transparency, then this program is not only easy to get in to, but accessible enough so that it doesn't feel like "just another thing to do".
Visual representations - Appeals to both visual learners and non. Permissions and assigning tasks - Only hands in the pots are the ones you want!
Accessibility - We like to pretend this isn't a factor when technology comes in to play, but I did have issues with some rather stubborn individuals who wanted to continue using post-its. While TeamGANTT made it easy for them to learn, it did require a modicum of knowledge to fully accept the program. Didn't feel as though some of the PM options were applicable to me, and also that some didn't quite match what I needed.

As a small consulting business, we've been able to streamline all our project tasks, allocations of staff time, and overall project timelines using this system so that we can see it all in a glance. We're easily able to decide who has free time for emerging projects, plan ahead for busy weeks, adjust schedules, and keep all our communications organized within the software platform. With all our work being virtual, this is extremely helpful for our staff, as well as our clients, to stay on track and share progress. Although it's more than we'd hoped to pay, it's been beneficial because it has all the features we need and we are all excited to actually USE it.
We started looking for new software because it was clunky to assign due dates with Avaza, we couldn't assign more than one user to a task, and we couldn't view multiple projects on one gantt chart.
My team is relatively small, so we work on multiple projects at any given time. It has been difficult to find a project management system within our budget that allows for users to see timelines and task lists for multiple projects together on either a gantt chart or task list. This allows for both! And it also allows us to assign multiple people to any task, which is beneficial for a nimble company like ours. The software allows for all other things that comparable gantt-focused PM software offers (dependencies, document uploads, etc.) but those two features made us decide to switch to TeamGantt. In addition to the features, we really like the layout and easy user navigation. It took no time at all for us to learn. So far, we have been extremely happy with the software.
The cost of the software is a bit high, but it is comparable with things like Monday or Smartsheet. We were using Avaza before, which had many of the features of TeamGantt, but was less user friendly and visually appealing. For three times the cost of Avaza, we get what we want with project management, but we don't get time-tracking (an additional cost) or accounting basics (invoicing, etc.) That is the only downside, that we'll have to use additional software for those things. Many other orgs might already be using Quickbooks or some other accounting software, so that might not be a big deal. The other challenge was importing our project management data from another system to TeamGantt. It didn't recognize all the same categories so we had to input some stuff manually. Finally, their mobile app is basically useless. There's no gantt chart and you can't update anything. It's basically a way to check your to-do list when you're not at your computer.

If you are familiar with the Gannt system this will be easy for you to pick up and start with, setup can be quicker and there are advanced features if you want to get more complex with your projects. TeamGannt is comparable to MS project but is fairly cheaper to access than MS Project. I would say its not for everyone as it has a somewhat steep learning curve and may be better suited to those who have used Gannt charts extensively.
TeamGannt helps you plan projects using the Gannt system. It is great at organization of tasks and sub tasks and is ideal for project managers who have studied or used the Gannt system. Great use of Gannt Chart techniques - A lot of techniques for building stellar Gannt charts have been integrated well into TeamGannt. For example if you wanted to extend a deadline for a specific task all you would need to do is drag the task across the timeline to move the duration. Task progress is also shown as percentages so you can see how much work has been done on a specific task. Cloud based, real time sync - All tasks and information is saved in the cloud, so you can access it wherever you have internet. This also means any changes are automatically shared across platforms and users. Share Function works even if you do not have an account - TeamGannt has a share feature that allows anyone with the link to see a project or charts without the need to log in. - The UI - The overall user interface is simplified with tutorials and overview videos available to help you set up your first project. You can also customize to your hearts content with multiple options and integrations that you can add and use.
Moving from other project management apps may be challenging. For example if you export a project and want to import it into TeamGannt using Excel or CSV files directly into a live project, there is clear option to do this right now. The only way is a workaround hack which is really unnecessary in my opinion. If you want to get the most out of this software, you have to pay full price. The free tier may allow for several users but it is very limited in its breadth. So in a sense the price can be a letdown if you just wanted to test and see how the software functions. Maybe not a gripe if you have a lot of memory, but since TeamGannt is cloud based, you may find it challenging to use if you are building a complex project. Since it is browser based, it can be a bit laggy. Maybe having a dedicated app would be more useful but in our case, we found that all you needed to do was to refresh the browser.

I found the software to be quite useful. It definitely served my purposes and, aside from the minor user interface challenges, i had a positive overall experience with it and would definitely recommend its use to other project managers.
I used Team Gantt to create a Gantt chart in order to manage an 18 month project and the following are aspects that i liked the most: -It is an online software which saves your schedule to the cloud which makes it conveniently accessible from any location/device with internet connectivity. -It is a simple to use and quick system: users only need to populate the tasks and sub-tasks of their project, including each task's period and deadline, and the software generates the Gantt chart in real time. With the task information already determined, it took me less than 30 minutes to complete the Gantt chart for my entire project. -Changes to the duration or deadlines for each task can be changed by simply dragging and extending the timeline bar for each task. -The color of the timeline bars of each task can be individually changed which can be used, for example, to differentiate critical tasks from standard tasks etc. -The progress of each task can be updated, which is shown as a % completed and visually shown as a darker colored timeline bar on the Gantt chart diagram -All updates to the Gantt chart are shared with all members in real time. -The Gantt charts can also be exported and downloaded in PDF format which is convenient for inclusion in reports.
The first project is free (which includes 3 users and 5 resources) but it has limited capabilities so you would really need to pay the subscription in order to fully utilize this software. The user interface could still use some tweaking: although the building of the Gantt chart is straight forward enough, looking for specifics options under the drop down menus can become daunting as the option menus are not grouped or laid out in a standard/user friendly format.

I really liked it, and if I'm ever looking for a project management system again, I'll heavily consider it. A really good app for a reasonable price.
Asana has a major issue with logins; they're tied to an email but are particular about domain. We're a small team in a larger school and larger university, but we would have to contract for the whole University, or else create a second email system for Asana (ex. gmail for all Asana needs). Asana really seemed interested in the bigger companies, which might work for them, but makes them pretty useless for companies like ours, comprised of many smaller teams.
My brain processes projects like a Gantt chart, so that was a huge reason for using this. It really helps to visually map multiple projects over longer periods of time, and easily demonstrates capacity for the individual and org. We switched to a new product as the team evolved, but TeamGantt added some nice new features that perhaps would have swayed us back (kanban was a nice addition). I really liked how visual this tool was, but it was also easy to switch to different views. Felt like a growing company that was only going to get better.
Support wasn't ideal, but wasn't bad either. They're reasonably speedy responding to chat. We never utilized any on-boarding services they offered, probably should have. Our team changed and grew and ultimately moved on to another service, but this was still a really great tool. I'm only writing this since we ran into so many other lemons looking for a different system, and came really close to coming right back. One thing (which might have improved); it would have been nicer for more customized timeline exports. Often our projects were so large that the exports weren't effective to print (which clients preferred). Maybe there was a third step we should have implemented too (you can also export to excel)

TeamGantt is an excellent Project Management Software. The creators are very pleasant and sociable. Their customer service is quick and pleasing. They strive to keep working on their product, fine-tuning it, adding new features and generally expanding. The product itself has excellent Gantt Chart features. It provides a choice of beautiful colors to work with. I love their diamond-shaped milestones which clearly mark out the signposts for your projects. They also enable you to see a mix of projects all at once so you can properly view and reschedule multiple projects. Another great feature is the ability to show a percentage complete progress, a feature often missing in other PM software. TeamGantt also allows you to star priority projects so that you can remember which projects to concentrate on first. Their weekly Calendar is one of my favorites because I can see the milestones and tasks that I have set up for the particular week. All in all, TeamGantt is very satisfactory. As I am using it, I feel pleasure because they have taken the time to design their software the way a designer designs a beautiful home. When I open up the software, there is a good feeling inside. And when I sign off, that feeling goes with me throughout the day. Thank you, TeamGantt.
This software is beautifully designed. And of course I like the Gantt features.
At the moment I am writing this, I can't think of any outstandingly negative feature to this software. For sure, nothing is perfect, but they are aware of that.

Overall, TeamGantt has filled a huge gap that I was dealing with in project planning. I plan to continue using it for many years to come. I'm a huge fan of the ease of use and percent complete tracking. I've been able to use the percent complete to help estimate remaining work / budget for projects to keep stakeholders informed.
TeamGantt gives me the ability to create a gantt chart for my projects in minutes (as opposed to hours). I can easily create new tasks and plot timelines by clicking and dragging. If you're currently using a product like Teamwork or BaseCamp, the milestone calendar is great for a day to day view - but for complex projects, I was having a very hard time seeing the big picture in any detail. TeamGantt gives me the ability to quickly create these high level views that can be used to easily shift timelines and deliverables - receive approval on the changes, before making major milestone calendar shifts.
I'm not a huge fan of the hours allocation portion of the software. It would be a nice feature to have, but it's overly cumbersome. I can add hours for an individual and see how many hours they're slotted for per day - but I can't see a person by person ganttchart of their overlapping responsibilities or how many hours per day they're allotted per project. (This would be a combination of Floats software & TeamGantt, which is how we use the software now.)
