Presenting Organic Visibility in an easily digestible but intuitive format--showing changes over time being one of the most useful. I really like the presentation of ONLY commercially viable keyword rankings as well. No use presenting 50k like SEMrush if 90% of them are Page 5+ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The tool obviously provides much more than that. But there's a lack of explanation on it, no tutorial etc... If i had the whole day to sit in front of it, and learn everything about it, I would do. Unfortunately, it's not the case. Also I'm really disappointed by the price, considering the amount of bugs. The main one is an update issue. It happens to me very often that I don't get any metrics for the week. Visibility etc.. just don't update and i have to wait the week after. It's killing me, really ! I'm considering the option to choose another tool now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Also, the content tool is a bit frustrating to use because you have to take your content out of the program you have it in (be it Wordpress, Drupal, Skyword, Google docs) and put it into the Searchmetrics tool. It then analyzes it based on the words you use, so if you use related keywords enough or too much. Again, I don't see it as being super intelligent in telling me if my content is high quality, only if I have certain words enough times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI is awful. It's very difficult to find your way around and everythign is split into modules. The tool is also German which shows in the English at times. The weird credit model is old fashioned and overal it's just waaay expensive compared to the market leaders with a weaker product.

Convoluted and not intuitive to navigate. Does not offer mobile data for my country. Does not provide domain authority scores. Does not not provide an in-depth backlink gap analysis. Have to keep inputting competitors for the different sections - why can't it just retain the information once off and use the same for each project? Why can't it keep the default country you're working on instead of it jumping to the USA all the time? The list goes on...

Search Metrics is a great tool for organizations so whether you are an agency or an in-house company, this tool is a must. When it comes to Keyword Analysis, Competitor's Market Share and tracking a vast number of keywords for rank tracking, this is the best tool I have come across. A lot of competitor SEO research sites offer suggestions on how to improve SEO ranking or changes that could be made to page title or descriptions, but Searchmetrics is a research only product and does not offer suggestions. Not sure if all of their contracts have an auto-renew, but ours did and we missed the 30-day notice to opt out and are now stuck in a new full year contract... Adding mobile tracking requires a new contract and is an additional add-on

I think the UX of the tool could be a bit better. I believe the ability to add filters and customize the report have very limited options.
