I have been using ZipRecruiter for years and would recomment it to anyone who is looking for a job. I used it 12 years ago when I got laid off and found an excellent job. I was just laid off again due to downsizing and have been using ZipRecruiter again to find a new job. I love the fact that you can set up your account and then search for jobs by job title or location. Then ZipRecruiter sends e-mails to you every day with jobs fitting your search parameters. You can then save jobs that you are interested in or ones for which you have applied so you can easily keep track of them. They also let you know if you are a great match for a job and, if so, highlight your resume to that employer to make your resume stand out and be more likely to be viewed. Zip Recruiter is rather efficient when engaging in a job search. I have experience with Zip Recruiter as both a job seeker and as a recruiter. It is both intuitive and user-friendly. Additionally, customer service is professional and supportive. Zip Recruiter is effective, easy to use, and has lots of great additional features to make a job search less of a hassle. It's also easy to implement when sourcing candidates and evaluating them for a position. I have used it daily for work, seeking candidates, and for job search and it is the best system out there. My virtual assistant, Phillip, is what I like best about ZipRecruiter. He sends me a few emails a day with possible job opportunities, let's me know when my resume has been reviewed and creates a positive environment while job searching. ZipRecruiter is easy to use and the offer for one click applying helps speed of the process! Well, the last job posting I put on Ziprecruiter got 6 views and 1 applicant that wasn't remotely qualified. A complete waste of money. At the same time, I listed my job for free on LinkedIn and received many relevant candidates, so while competition for applicants is fierce, I don't think there is a problem with my job posting. We use ZipRecruiter to post our active job listings. Our sourcing/recruiting department uses it. It gives us the opportunity to share our job openings, and attract talent within an hour (or less)! ZipRecruiter has been a source for us over the past several years. However, we are seeing an increase in quality over quantity, which is definitely a step in the right direction. We have successfully found candidates that have amazing experience and are actively searching. I really like the features that allow us to see who is actively on the job market so we can contact active job seekers right away.

We use ZipRecruiter since we are an executive search firm and a recruitment firm. I thought ZipRecruiter is only good for full-time positions but it is also perfect if you are looking for freelancers. However, please be mindful that not all ZipRecruiter applicants are a great fit. Some but not most.

We got ripped off by their Free Trial offer, like many others, we have since learned. It's not free, it's a scam. Worse, the candidates were awful, very dated and not qualified. NEVER AGAIN.

We went to ZipRecruiter because of their ads, and because we thought they could bring us better applicants. We subscribed for 3 months, and 90% of candidates had zero relevant experience. I called 1 day after our auto-bill to cancel and they informed me, per the terms of our service contract, that there are no balance refunds. Terrible client service.

ZipRecruiter is great for assisting our clients in smaller to mid-size markets where we don't have a large candidate flow already in place. ZipRecruiter lets us target candidates with greater detail than other services. Example: Targeting a specific suburb or zip code of Chicago instead of (LinkedIn) "The Greater Chicago Area" - This ability to dig into locations and source from the database is outstanding!

Overall, I really enjoy using ZipRecruiter. I use it several times a week to stay on top of what's available on the job market. The "1-Tap Apply" button is an awesome feature which makes the application process super easy! I found my last job using ZipRecruiter and I continue to use it and recommend it to others.
