I am an accountant for several companies that use APS Payroll. While I do not run payroll, I use APS on a weekly basis for reporting and importing payroll data into the books. Given the scope of service APS provides to my clients, I feel that the cost is extremely reasonable. The service is also reliable. After using APS for nearly a decade, I can only recall one or two instances when payroll did not run on time. And then if I ever do not remember to call in my batch, let's say if it just slipped my mind or if I have other things going on demanding my attention that week, no one is there to catch my back and ask if we are submitting a batch that week. Each company should have an account rep that looks to see when they are scheduled to do payrolls that can call and remind you when your deadline is coming up.
