I'd like to give a comment on tech support...but the app just works. The only time I needed to check on something I got a perfect reply super fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

    3. Avaza helped us start our projects from readymade templates, and it also automated our work which helped us reduce human errors, also using Avaza we were able to create and send estimates to our clients for approval and then converted them into a project within a few seconds. Missing extension for Azure DevOps means that I have to add all projects again in Microsoft DevOps manually or if it is there, I was not made aware in the whole month I have used it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is miles ahead of ActiveCollab. It has more features, the interface is easier to use and the invoicing is easier to use. Across the board better. We migrated from ActiveCollab, but that was just essentially a Fancier Wunderlist. If you just need one project and a few tasks it works, but for company use, it is overly complex, yet missing a lot of features as well.
We are a pretty unique business because we deal with bookkeeping, marketing, and HR and across all 3 departments, we have been able to successfully use the tool. Other software we have tried usually caters to one industry at a time.
Project Management - Creating projects and tasks is really easy Timesheets - Logging time is super quick and simple.
Recurring Projects - Right now you can create recurring tasks with a project, but if you have a project that recurs monthly with a client, as we do, you have to manually create it. Ideally, we want to be able to have this happen automatically. Xero Integration - If you create an invoice based on hours, you aren't able to adjust the inventory type. Also, for the integration, you are not able to have endless inventory types mapped to GL accounts in Xero. You can only have one catch-all if you are creating invoices from timesheets. Stripe/ACH Integration - Since it already integrates with Stripe to accept payments, it would be great if the user can choose ACH through Stripe instead of just Credit Card. The functionality already exists on the Stripe end, but it has not been integrated with Avaza, yet! Recurring payment options would be great as well. Estimates - It would be awesome if invoices worked more like Quotes or Proposals where the client can choose an option, accept and provide a signature.

Our organization uses Avaza mainly for Project Management and task tracking. It saves us dozens of hours per week by eliminating menial and repetitive tasks. Avaza does a great job of monitoring and evaluating all our efforts. It helps identify chokepoints or critical areas we need to work on. Our Admin, Business Development, and Technical Services all rely on Avaza.
There are teams who work hard, and there are those who work smart. Avaza helps you be the latter--it's is a great tool for any team collaborating on several projects, especially multiple projects with a lot of simultaneously moving parts. It has just about everything you need - from team schedules to timesheets, down to the task and sub-task monitoring. The best part for me is that we can switch from List View to Kanban to Gantt charts!
It switches between Kanban view, List view, and Gantt charts which fits varying preferences! It helps us work smart by creating dependencies and linking tasks to calendars It has a clean, intuitive dashboard that's very easy to navigate
I wish sub-tasks could also have due dates For really big projects, we hope there could be phases (aside from sections) In the chatbox, it would be great if photo attachments could be displayed as screenshots (instead of downloading the file)

I've used Trello before, but Avaza has way more features and is more applicable for cross-team collaboration. We selected Avaza for it's ability to not only project manage, but also for invoicing, expenses and it's ability to track time. We've gotten more accurate with estimate project hours, and therefore create more accurate proposals.
I recommend using Avaza if you have your hands in multiple projects, across departments. I imagine it's a life saver for larger corporations and agencies. This tool probably doesn't make a ton of sense to use if your company is very silo-ed and you work on one project at a time for one client.
Avaza is great for project management. I use it to organize client roadmaps by task and deadline. You can also easily time yourself for specific tasks.
The interface and taxonomy could use an update, sometimes it's hard to figure out where things logically are or should be.

There are both hard-working teams and smart ones. In this case, the latter is more accurate; Avaza is an excellent tool for any group working on numerous projects together, especially those with a high volume of interrelated tasks. Time tracking for teams, individual work hours, and even smaller tasks and subtasks are all included.

Avaza is wonderful. Its modern and intuitive interface makes tedious tasks like, entering your timesheet on Friday afternoon, or uploading all the expense receipts from your last business trip, no longer a time-consuming activity. You won't regret having this tool by your side.

I was looking for a flexible timesheet solution for my small and growing IT and Finance staffing firm. Avaza was the only option available that fit my needs in terms of functionality, flexibility and price. They are constantly improving too. Very happy.

It's a good platform for project management. So far we have been using it mostly for timesheet control, but it has a lot of other functions that we are starting to use and it brings a lot of potential to our business.
