ADP, Paylocity, Paycom, Lawson, Kronos All of the others were complicated, things felt buried beneath so many modules, and the interfaces were outdated.
I love Zenefits. I have used many other HRIS and this is by far my favorite. Everything makes sense. I love not having to click 5,000 buttons just to get to one thing.

Onboarding and sales experience was fantastic. When calling for support, they are friendly and as helpful as they can be. Integration between Time & Attendance and payroll works great. Processing Federal taxes works great. The reporting system requires you to download a report without previewing. You basically need to know the report you want or go through the process of download, open, review multiple times. Expensive Add-ons don't work that great. Customer service wait times are regularly over 1 hr. Call-back system doesn't work. Any tax reporting changes take 2-3 months if they ever get done. The app is buggy, but overall usable. I've run into issue after issue with state specific taxes. It seems that they don't really have their act together concerning the details. I also found the add-on features like performance management to not really be worth the extra work. Also, the document management system really leaves a lot to be desired. Automatically depositing taxes, integration between timeclock and payroll, integration of PTO and payroll. Was hoping that we would have some great HR tools, but that didn't really happen.
