Aweber is comparatively an easy solution for email marketing and can also be used for some basic ecommerce marketing needs. We choose this platform for our marketing department because it is easy for us to work with, it comes with all fundamental features required for a successful marketing, and it is quite market competitive and I would say fairly priced software. One of the things I love about Aweber is how easy it is to use. Even if you're not a tech-savvy person, you can easily navigate the platform and get started with your email campaigns. Pretty much everything now. The hidden drafts. The drafts that don't keep any of the settings of a copied message. The inability to use their legacy / original editor. The interface. The fact that my long-time customers cannot opt-in to my lists anymore with the same info@ and other similar addresses they have always used. We currently use Aweber in our marketing department exclusively to help automate our user acquisition and retention efforts. It helps us free up our bandwidth by automating tasks that would otherwise be done manually by an associate spending a few hours a week. The reports we export are easy to set up and easily actionable upon by higher levels of management.

We use it to create sign up forms and email campaigns. It allows us to send targeted emails and analyze campaign results which we can then use to enhance and improve our subsequent campaigns. Its interface is a bit outdated and the design options are too. It works well, though but probably not worth the price, given there are so many other email management software available.
Design options - very limited here, nothing like Constant Contact or MailChimp User interface - the way the lists are separated is a bit unintuitive, having to remember to change the list you are in before creating an email was tough

My experience with Aweber's customer support even when I start as a free trial was something to take home about. It's easy to create both HTML templates for your emails and also, their easy drag and drop email builder makes it possible to design your email templates or pick from the library of already made templates and edit your campaigns. Email campaigns can also be shared with someone else to import all the flows to their autoresponder with Aweber and save a lot of stress.

Also, it became too costly an option when trying to integrate my WooCommece store data without purchasing a $49 plugin. The more I wanted to do, the fewer options because available not making this a suitable option for me. Overall, my experience with AWeber was less than stellar and I had to drop it for a better solution.

When we first started with AWeber a long time ago, it wasn't the most user friendly platform and was pretty limited in what it could do. They have consistently updated it over the last decade to be a really solid competitor in the autoresponder/email marketing field.
