    One key tool I enjoy using on klaviyo is its amazing segment feature which allows me to effectively categorize clients. This becomes very useful in unveiling eCommerce trends particularly with first-time buyers. The uses of integrating a loyalty program are almost invisible; it helps to improve our marketing strategies. Workflows are also a cinch to introduce, which is useful when you think about adding them for critical steps like abandon cart situations and welcome emails.     From my previous of using Klaviyo one thing I can say is that dashboard is very fairly designed and informative at the same time. It's data projection like potential sales, subscribers, etc. have helped me out to analyse the performance. The auto segmentation of your customers based on the data and attributes is another great feature , it's subtle but it certainly helps in the data collected in the CRM. It's customer support is top notch I have contacted every time I faced any problems during the onboarding process and they have helped me out every time promptly.     I can't think about any real downside of using Klaviyo, it's definitely not the cheapest Shopify app but it has been paying for itself and giving us profits, so we can't complain about the price... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

    I swapped over to Klaviyo from Mail Chimp after hearing good things about them. What a mistake. I spent hours creating an important email campaign, uploaded my email list, pressed send, and then boom, my account is disabled because of a 'random compliance check'. No warning of this, and no idea if my campaign was even sent. The dashboard says 'Nice Job, you sent your first campaign' but there is no data available 24 hours later, and still no response from Klaviyo. They said it would be reviewed within 24 hours, but still crickets. I can't send it via Mail Chimp because I have no idea if it was actually sent (although I suspect not). They had no problem taking my money though and invoicing me during that time.

    Annoying to use. Their approval processvery annoying. Who has time for that? Annoying to set up. I just dont love it. Mail chimp is easier to use for small business owners in my opinion

    We use Klaviyo within our ecommerce department for email marketing automation and monthly product newsletters. It provides an unparalleled level of user granularity and campaign customization. Our previous email marketing software was nowhere close to providing the functionality that Klaviyo provides. If you're serious about email marketing, choose Klaviyo for your team.

    We are a boutique consulting agency for ecommerce D2C brands, so we use Klaviyo to manage their email marketing campaigns. Myself and another coworker use it mostly, and we are sometimes advised by my boss on tactics and strategies. It addresses the important need of the email marketing platform, and does so much better than other providers I've used in the past.
    Automation and flows. Klaviyo has the best dynamic automation out of any email platform that I've seen. Segmentation. You can very easily create segments of your list based on a number of dynamic properties.

    We use Klaviyo as our primary means of email marketing for both of our brands. The only department that uses Klaviyo is our marketing department since it is strictly a marketing oriented tool. Klaviyo is a reasonably priced alternative to the higher cost ESP we moved over from. It does make things easy with it's "drag and drop" style interface but with that there are limitations. Prior to using Klaviyo, we were building all of our emails in HTML using Dreamweaver and another ESP. This was great because we could fully customize everything however it took longer. With Klaviyo things seem to move faster but customization is a bit limited.
    Klaviyo cuts down the time it takes to create an email newsletter The drag and drop interface is easy for anyone to jump in and use - no special knowledge of coding is necessary

    We use Klaviyo for email newsletters.
    They need to improve response for helping customers. Don't suspend account if in good standing with Shopify - no reason and no warning. Get better templates. Test email set up is terrible. Poor template selection. Awkward to use. Slow and unhelpful service.

    Klaviyo is an email marketing services I have implemented in two of the companies I have worked with. It has a user friendly interface so it's fairly easy to use, however we felt it lacked the structure of other suppliers out there.

    Overall: It's been great. I had one experience with customer support where I felt the person wasn't going to pass on valid feedback (open rates of the first email cut by half due to < 2 hour wait with FB sync). But other interactions with support were great and I also was able to connect with their product manager who promised to look into it. I felt they're a young and flexible team. Also laser focused on email and what email marketers need.

    Overall: It has been great! I've really enjoyed Klaviyo and think that it is the strongest ecom email platform on the market for Shopify merchants. The customization of emails is relatively easy, it has robust feature sets for additions like reviews and sms, and their flows are a hugely important piece to generate passive income. I'd recommend Klaviyo as long as the person onboarding new tools understood how pricing structure works.

    Overall: Overall it does get the job done. It is a lot of work and their support is very limited. It seems that they're not focusing on ecommerce anymore and things have changed recently complicating integration. The SMS is limited. I would like there to be more customer support with setting up campaigns and flows.
