    Constant Contact has such great features! The drag-and-drop function is my favorite by far. I love how Constant Contact has a set of predesigned email templates that we can choose from instead of starting from a blank canvas. There are also blank email templates for those who want to create and brand their templates. The Customer Support at Constant Contact is on point! They are very friendly and always willing to help.     I've been using Constant Contact since 2005. It is an indispensable tool for my small business. I love that I can send emails, create automated campaigns, create landing pages, and more.     The "account review specialists" in the Loveland Colorado location were unfortunately not very customer friendly. They spoke too fast, and spoke over me every time I had tried to speak my case. Although I receive an email list from the corporate office of my customer with them having full knowledge that I would be sending their employees constant contact emails updating them on our product, Constant Contact considers that 3rd party. Jeff the supervisor told me that they had to remove the email list completely. And I had said, what about all other lists? I receive them the same way. Jeff the supervisor then told me "we won't worry about those lists".....already knowing that I receive email lists from the corporate office of those lists as well. Complete hypocrite. "Its against our policy, oh but we wont say anything about the other lists". This situation is a sad one mainly because we loved the service and because Constant Contact lost a customer.     It's AMAZING that Constant Contact is still in business. I feel like I'm using a word processor from the 80's. I need to make a switch to some other provider, but I've already go so much invested in Constant Contact. I just need to make the switch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

    Newsletter templates hard to use. Decided to go with someplace else after using low level plan for 1 month. Tried to cancel but don't allow cancellation online.. you have to call them, and guess what ? They are impossible to get through to by phone... when you call you are prompted for "billing" or "cancellation" and the cancellation choice is put on perpetual hold. I finally got through after being billed twice for a service I did not use ... one day after the second charge and was told there is a no refund policy. They can tell that I didn't use the service at all but insist on keeping my money. Very poor company policy.. so beware when you do the "free trial" if you let them charge you before you cancel... they will not refund.     The best feature is the vast array of template that are available to get me started. Sometimes I want to be a little creative, but I just can't seem to get going or find the design that hits the mark. The library of choices is huge and has some really interesting styles in it.

From sending selecting a pre-themed email template to building something completely from scratch, Constant Contact has solutions to meet our every need. Several members of our team are able to use this tool with minimal assistance.

    I use it to communicate with my clients on a weekly basis. I am able to send to different groups with a simple click on a button. Many groups have been created to ensure I am sending the right message to the right group. I can schedule at any time, even when I am sleeping :) There are monthly updates, and sometimes weekly, and Constant Contact allows me to communicate with everyone easily.

    In my view, If I were made aware of Constant Contact's lack of performance, I would have never created an account. I would rather use Wix, or even just social media! It would be more effective, user-friendly, and less costly or stressful, I believe.

    Prohashing had never used E-Mail marketing before. About two years ago, we added an opt-in checkbox to our website for a future mailing list, but we never got around to sending any messages. This year, I researched multiple platforms and decided that Constant Contact would be a good place to start, given that we had little experience with marketing and that their interface was easy to use. We had about 6218 subscribers.
    Their compliance department said my industry sends spam and closed my account, even though I only sent one message in 7 days. I waited on hold for 2 hours and 47 minutes over six calls and still couldn't get a technical issue resolved. Because they suddenly closed the account without contacting me first, I lost hundreds of dollars in salaries put into researching their API and setting up templates. They do not offer true two-factor authentication using the TOTP algorithm, a must for any account with thousands of subscribers. Constant Contact's authentication method is vulnerable to an attack known as a "SIM swap."

    Overall: We set up a landing page with a form fill, ad traffic to the landing page. Constant contact handled email and responses for all of the opted in addresses, and kept the leads warm while we developed them. Excellent deliverability, easy to use, just a first class software.
