Our company uses Hatchbuck strictly in the marketing department. We find it to be a great solution to reach a specific group (large or small) of customers quickly.
Allows you to tag contacts on import in order to differentiate between groups of customers. This is great because when we are wanting to follow up with conference attendees, we can filter by that tag. Hatchbuck sends out mass emails in waves in order for our email to NOT be sent to spam. Hatchbuck has GREAT customer service. I have worked with the same rep from the date of subscription and have NEVER had to reach out to anyone else. If she does not have the answer for me, she will find out in a timely manner and not pass me along to someone else. Compared to Salesforce, Hubspot, Marketo, or Act-On, Hatchbuck is extremely limiting, especially when it comes to reporting and automation.
