Insightly is being used in two main ways. It is being used as a CRM, in the classic sense, to manage contacts and organisations from a sales and marketing point of view. It is also being used as a business management system to process orders, manage suppliers and manage information. There are many advantages. But one of the most powerful features is the ability to link items. Notes, organisations and projects can all be linked in a unique way. It is easy to stay organisaed and manage the business even when traveling. It also makes working on projects with teams very easy.

It is used as a sales tool to keep track of the different clients and manage leads and opportunities. I use it to do prospecting and to follow up on my own prospects. It's a two-member group completely sales advocated.
I think the timeline is not shown as good as other platforms (like Hubspot CRM), where you can see at first glance all the activities that the lead made, regarding opening emails or answering them. It would be awesome if you could change the status of a group of leads at the same time (just like sending bulk emails or adding activity sets). I think the UX has room for improvement.
