Ansarada VDRs is far and above the best for mergers and acquisitions. This is for four simple reasons: 1) the User Interface is the most accessible - this is extremely convenient when dealing with complex acquisitions where there is a vast amount of data to wade through; 2) No unnecessary tools - the interface is not overloaded, and it is, therefore, easy to navigate; 3) Zipping files - this makes the production of documents at the end of a deal extremely convenient. I found the general setup structure on the index quite cumbersome. On our end we were trying to have a base unredacted VDR index and another one that was redacted and renamed. Would be helpful to have a staging folder option under the Manage > Documents options on the left hand side of the screen. On another topic, it would also be helpful to have a document counter on the top left of the screen when you select all document within a folder, for instance.

There is no search function to find if a particular email has been invited or logged on as guests till we try to the invitation. When loading files, a few steps needed before we can load into the selected folder. Not straight forward. Unable to see what is the total data usage so we are not sure when we are charged for the extra data used previously.

Not intuitive, expensive for what you get, many individuals have complained about not being able to see PDF's due to settings the software requires each user to make on their computers.

I was very pleased with the overall experience, so were our potential investors. It takes some 'getting used to' to run the data room as an administrator but the instruction videos help. There are a lot of security features, sometimes too many: this makes it safe, but not always intuitive. I have already recommended Ansarada to another company and would be happy to do it again.
