What I like most is the user-friendliness of the platform. It was easy to upload the spreadsheet to add the directory and even easier to send bulk invites. I also like the helpful videos and live trainings that are available. In addition, our representative was responsive and resourceful, providing step-by-step guidance. After a great deal of selling and requests to bring the tool to a new company, we took the leap and introduced it to the BOD. We implemented the software but it was still experiencing the slow performance and clunky output of its earlier life. Really nothing in this product sweet that could not be served by a much less expensive and specialized product such as Smartsheet, Force.com, Gsuite. You cannot invite board members to a meeting when it is posted on the calendar. I've spoken with the design staff at OnBoard and they told me that this is not something that OnBoard was intended for. Members have to 1) remember that there is a meeting coming up; 2) log in to OnBoard; 3) find the meeting; 4) download it to their calendar; 5) and make sure that they manually enter the remote meeting information since it does not download with the rest of the meeting information. This huge gap makes OnBoard obsolete from the get-go, at least for us. We have to invite everyone with a totally separate Outlook calendar invite so that they can make sure they are able to attend. We have a very active 20+ member board who are engaged, passionate, and also very busy. I hate adding extra steps that complicate things, especially since they are volunteers and already giving so much of their time and resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use and general intuitive nature of the platform is the best. Everything is offered on the platform so there's no need for multiple systems. But the absolute best part is the people. Their support staff has been nothing short of amazing. Any questions are answered quickly and in a friendly supportive manner. Our Board of Directors are thrilled to have everything together and easily locatable in one simple location.

I have been looking to find the perfect online meeting and collaboration tool to help me better manage my workflow. After doing extensive research, I decided to purchase and use OnBoard. I have been using OnBoard for quite some time now, and overall, my experience has been positive. With its intuitive interface and the features intuitively laid out, it is quite easy to navigate, even for those who are not tech-savvy. Another pro is the screen/book feature for meeting use.

The voting has major issues - the board members at times do not receive their information to vote. After the meeting, some Board members receive the actual information numbers on the motions which is NOT good. We have discussed this issue a number of times without any resolution. At the last board meeting, the voting did not work so I used Poll Everywhere which is a software that I have used regularly in the past that has been very efficient and time sensitive. I have never had an issue with Poll Everywhere but onboard voting, that is a different story.

I didnt use this software enough to be able to suggest improvements. I think we had some trouble with people accessing the documents if they were not listed as an admin. there should be a "view option" like with google docs.

Our college uses OnBoard to allow our board of trustees to have instant access to safe and secure board materials. The portal allows the board members to remain engaged. This service also allows me, as administrator, to keep track of board terms, contact information, etc that I used to have to keep track of manually using a variety of different spreadsheets and folders. We currently have 20 board members and they find OnBoard to be very easy to use.
Secure board materials - the administrator can control what board members see what materials. Contact information - email and mailing addresses are readily available. Board terms - term lengths for every board member is tracked through the system. Meeting feedback - simple surveys are sent immediately after a meeting to get feedback from meeting attendees for future planning.

Previously, our board members were using the traditional pen and paper for their meetings. Thick packets that took up time to flip through and sometimes were missing pages. With OnBoard the board meetings are a breeze. It's simple to use, even for the least tech-savvy people in the meetings. It makes sense to them and the platform has become an essential tool over time. Since we've first started using it it's only become better with the updates. There is virtually no housekeeping to do and their support team is great should we have any questions. Stop thinking about it and get on board with OnBoard!

We use the OnBoard Management Software as an online portal to maintain all of our Board of Trustee documents and facilitate meeting. The OnBoard software allow us to provide agenda and supporting documentation to our Board members prior to the meeting. We can all and remove documentation at any time. We also use the portal to archive all of the board meeting materials. We use the portal for onboarding new Board members. The Resources section of the software is used to keep all of our handbook, policies, and documents. We use the signature signing tool to sign have our Chair and Secretary sign digitally. The survey tools are used for voting and RSVP information.
Would like to have members be able to sign surveys. The Dashboard should allow us to post documents and not just a link.
