5.0User-friendly layout despite tons of features. Automations forced me to switch from MailerLite to ConvertKit. You can tag leads and send them to different funnels etc. Then send personalized emails using automations. Custom fields make these automations even more powerful. Cherry on the top is excellent customer support. Moving from MailerLite was very easy. Just import the list and you are good to go with ConvertKit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
4.5Overall loved the simple interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
3.5They have good customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
0.0WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! You have to prove to them when you have a bigger list that you have at least 20% Open rate which is impossible and unrealistic when your email marketing ends up on the gmail promotions folder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
0.0Their support is not helpful at all. After assuring me that moving from mailchimp to convertikit was "easy" and that "We'll get it working for you! :)" they refused to help when I ran into problems. They moved 171 subscribers but refused to move the whole list of 918 subscribers. Instead, they referred me to their so-called experts who want $500+ to develop a marketing strategy(which I don't even want) after wasting a week of my time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1.5Seems to be over-priced compared with other competitors. I'm on a $290/yr plan for 1000 contacts and this doesn't even include deliverability reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5.0The most accommodating aspect, in my opinion, is the technical help. The practice exercises are excellent. Furthermore, if I am unable to make something work, I send an email to support expressing my concern/question, and they respond with step-by-step instructions for resolving the issue!!! The response time is really fast, typically within a couple of hours - I believe this is extremely responsive. Furthermore, when you switch from another stage to ConvertKit, they migrate all of your contacts with labels! So you don't need to be very tech savvy; instead, focus on the substance of your message rather than the technology behind it! I changed stages because I needed to create an evergreen 30-day email series that anyone could access at any time.
5.0CK allows me to tag my subscribers so easily which then allows me to send customized content to each set of subscribers. I also love the email templates that make my weekly emails easy to complete. The extensive library of training resources are SO helpful when I have a question.
5.0This is my favorite email tool of all time, and I've tried many. I'm not a fan of any email blasts that feel impersonal or boring. The customizable templates, audience tags, and sequences by action all work together beautifully with ConvertKit. Highly recommend switching over if you're using MailChimp.
1.0They make it extremely difficult to get anything out of it, with all their technical jargon and crap. Doing everything they can to make it extremely hard to use without having to pay for it.
2.0the implimentation is dire, it's like a beta release all the time. the forms aren't as responsive as they so claim, things look good on their page and then on preview, but when published, you really have to tinker with them to make them work. Their worpdress plugin was prompting 'malware' warnings on my site with Avast, the first time I had to contact their help desk, and they were more concerned about removing me from their daily tasks lists than dealing with the problem. this eventually cleared up, I assume it may have been in Avast's hands, but this problem lasted two weeks in convertkits hands. I then had a list of 5 questions, I recieved a response for one of them by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] who I then didn;t reply in a timely manner for (although he contacted me 3 days after my problems were raised!) He then got pushy in the emails for me to deal with the problem immediate - which I couldn't do!! I was available to add things to my website 3 days before his response and had other work commitments to deal with, having just now got back to the website, 5 days after my initial problems, he decided to close the ticket to and I quote 'remove them off his daily tasks lists' I've now raised these exact same questions again to convertkit to seek help, hopefully I won't get an automated response and have to wait another 3 days for a reply to when im busy and told they'll close the ticket again to make themselves look good. Their customer service is diabolical and their software is sub par.
2.0EVERYTHING .. The Support Team took days to answer and when they did it was as though they were buying more time by asking a question which only repeated the question you asked in the first place. They SHOW OFF IN WEBINAR invites about features they do not even OFFER ! Misleading! And when you need to do anything in a batch it takes forever! Its very expensive and not nearly developed enough to charge for their features .. which are half baked..

10.0I rely on ConvertKit as my primary email marketing automation tool. 8.0ConvertKit is an awesome option for building an email list and creating emails based on behavior using automation. I have used it to grow my list. The business problems it addresses is to create a landing page to capture emails to build lists and create different lists using automation. You can also build a website with it, but I only used it to house my potential leads.
CRM for your potential leads. Offers automation to save entrepreneurs time and money. Pricing is affordable and offers free trial.

3.0Overall: Overall, it's an ok tool. A lot of the glitches have cost me money (i.e. sending coupons to my list and excluding purchasers... only to find out prior purchasers still received the email). I've had requests for "discounts" from people who have received these emails after purchasing a product at full price. They are not happy. When people get stuck in sequences they go "cold"... then I end up sending a reengagement sequence before removing from my list and these people get very mad too... they have been expecting to hear from me and think that I don't send to my list regularly. Overall I really feel like just a number to ConvertKit. They don't care about my business and charge a FORTUNE. I think this product has hurt my business, cost me money and soured my reputation. In my opinion if they are charging such a premium price it really should be top notch and this really falls short in a lot of ways. I really wish I thought long and hard before signing up with them as it's going to be a NIGHTMARE to switch. I feel really "stuck" with using them and it's such a nightmare to manage at this point.
5.0Overall: ConvertKit has been the best email marketing software I've used. Even though there are free products, start with ConvertKit. You'll make the switch eventually so just start here.
5.0Overall: Overall, I'd give ConvertKit another try because I think the platform itself is great and they've likely added a lot of features and clarity since I worked with them.
5.0Overall: Overall, the product is solid, reliable, and support is friendly and responsive.
5.0Overall: I'm a convert! And, I recommend it to everyone who wants to grow a list.
5.0"Advanced, but it can be used simply"
