The ability to have Council Report approvals managed through the workflow process has helped a great deal with streamlining agenda preparations. We selected eScribe as our electronic meeting management software after an extensive review of other competitors and found eScribe to provide the best solution at a cost that was within our budget. Formatting. I find I am consistently formatting Minutes in Word after they are prepared. Roll Call is not user friendly either. You are unable to easily change and have a particpant enter late and the minutes reflect same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

eSCRIBE allowed us to streamline the Council Agenda process by moving to an electronic approval process. The benefit to the City is that Report approvers no longer had to physically be available to approve Reports, now they can approve them remotely.

It was a painful start. It took us well over a year to resolve a number of issues we were experiencing. As a result staff got frustrated and lost trust in the software. As I have become more experienced with the software I have been able to resolve a number of issues on my own but, I continue to struggle to get staff to trust and use eScribe vs. coming to me to do everything for them.

It makes putting together an agenda a pleasure instead of the old nightmare it use to be. The ease of putting in agenda items once approved is amazing. Easy to use the report writing. Approval process is great. Still iffy on the minutes taking. Does take some getting use to especially when Council puts a motion forward then brings in another before the vote. I
