GoTo Meeting is straightforward, and you'll have no hassle using it for calls and meetings. As with any video conferencing software, you can schedule your appointments in advance and allow the invitees to make other plans around the meeting schedule. While meetings tend to be one-time, GoTo Meeting historically has allowed you to have rooms that don't disappear after the initial meeting. These meeting rooms can be joined using your ID and last for long-term discussions, which is favorable in work environments. GoTo Meeting is open and easily accessible for anyone to partake in conferences. You can use computers, tablets, and smartphones to join meetings once you have the invitation link. If you don't have access to the application, each room has a unique access code and number that you can dial to join the meeting from your landline and mobile phone. As a workspace, I can't recommend GoTo Meeting highly enough. With essential tools such as screen sharing and presentations, GoTo Meeting holds the key to business discussions, collaborations, virtual classes, and online seminars. Its low price for implementing and setting it up is a significant advantage over Zoom, Skype, etc. I can't personally speak for large-scale companies. Still, my team of 27 has an easier time communicating via GoTo Meeting when we host conferences with clients for broader discussions and our private collaboration sessions. GoTo Meeting is user-friendly and very elegant to use, all-in-all. Screen sharing on GoTo Meeting is a pain to work with. Since there's no way to control the resolution, sometimes it gets too blurry and pixelated. When we're screen-sharing apps like Visual Studio or Qt, it can be tough to see the words on the screen, hindering our debugging and tests. GoTo Meeting has significantly reduced scheduling conflicts and allowed us to host impromptu meetings through rooms. We've used them as a base for our discussions and for staying on point with tasks. Quick file sharing is a huge benefit that's allowed us to convert GoTo Meeting into a virtual workspace for collaborating on projects. Its user-friendly nature is a strong reason for enabling streamlined communications with our clients even if they don't use the app. Although our company is based in India, our meeting room has a virtual US number, which is easier for our clients in the US to call as there's no extra international call charge. The dial-in feature allows them to communicate with us and join our meetings from their phones even when they're not near their computer. Even though phones limit extensive features of GoTo Meeting, such as screen sharing and presentations, GoTo Meeting provides an alternate way for our clients to join the sessions without registration. They can use our meeting link on their web browser (any) and partake in discussions with our team. They can also leave messages in our room for us to check later if we're unavailable. The user-friendliness of GoTo Meeting makes it a strong choice among our clients as the default method of communication.

GoTo Meeting is excellent for virtual conferences with the ability to see people's faces via video. You can freely communicate and convey messages whenever needed without any restrictions. GoTo Meeting is available for desktops, Macs, mobiles, tablets, and browsers. So, there are endless possibilities to communicate, and you're not forced to use one specific medium. You can schedule meetings for future sessions and invite the participants via email. If you have a quicker way of contacting them, you can alternatively share the meeting's URL and password. One-click join is an excellent feature of GoTo Meeting that allows users to join discussions from their web browsers even if they're not registered users. GoTo Meeting is a secure platform where no logs of your chat messages are stored locally, so there are fewer chances of any leaks. It operates entirely on the cloud, so you can see your messages on any device after logging in and the conversation history. The secure platform always opens the way for files to be shared seamlessly. You can take collaboration a step further with screen-sharing, an immaculate feature that can be done by multiple users simultaneously. If the meeting has important conversation topics that need to be readdressed or made notes of, you can record it. GoTo Meeting stores all meeting videos in the cloud for up to 365 days. You can also share these videos in meetings as long as they're under 5GB. GoTo Meeting is exceptional for my usage, and I don't dislike anything specific about it. It's a scalable video conferencing platform that anyone can use anywhere. GoTo Meeting is our primary way of having conferences, sharing files, and collaborating through a secure platform. Since everything is stored in the cloud, we don't have to worry about system hacks resulting in stolen data. Virtual conferences fulfill the need to communicate from anywhere while working remotely. We can have presentations with overseas clients to display our projects and services. We can offer customer services through our portal, where they can communicate via text chat or voice call to set a time for video conferences that we can schedule for the future. GoTo Meeting promotes collaboration in many ways, including screen-sharing. Multiple participants in a meeting can share their screens simultaneously for everyone to view. Our organization uses this as a tactic to monitor everyone's work and daily tasks when we're working from home to ensure everyone's being productive.

GoTo Meeting is straightforward and intuitive. You can schedule meetings anytime and invite participants through emails or by distributing the URL. GoTo Meeting is a cross-platform software that allows participants to connect to meetings via any medium. GoTo Meeting provides a seamless way to unify all incoming calls in a single platform. You can set up VOIP calls by registering for a toll-free number for your account or team. For convenience, you can select the country you want a toll-free number for. While setting up a formalized meeting takes time, you can set up a quick appointment immediately if you're in a hurry. GoTo Meeting is very data efficient and low on resource usage. So it's well-optimized for anyone to use for long hours without lag. Even when you're on the go, GoTo Meeting is excellent on LTE connections. GoTo Meeting is extraordinary for quality productivity as you can use various features like screen sharing, file transfer, presentations, whiteboard, recording, etc., depending on your needs. Displaying a presentation on GoTo Meeting is pretty intuitive, where all the participants can move back to previous slides at any time to make notes or clarification. For teamwork and collabs, GoTo Meeting is functionally the best software. I don't dislike anything about GoTo Meeting. However, its web client is significantly lacking compared to Zoom, Skype, etc. GoTo Meeting is our most reliable form of hosting meetings for quick discussions. All accounts come with one free, permanent room, which we can reuse for sessions and skip the setup process altogether. The meeting ID and link for the room are constant and never expire, so once you've given the participants the necessary information, they can join your room to join the meeting without you inviting them manually. You can also organize your meetings better by scheduling them, which we find handy with clients. Scheduling automatically adds the meeting information to your calendar, for which you get notifications from Outlook or Google, depending on the one you choose. With GoTo Meetings, you're not strapped for time and can discuss freely with video enabled. For people like me who work from home, GoTo Meeting meets all the basic needs of sharing files, screens, and images. Recordings made via GoTo Meetings are of excellent quality, and you can even get transcriptions for the audio embedded in the recording by default.

Di recente siamo passati a GoToMeeting e siamo passati rapidamente a Join.me. Mentre queste due societ fanno parte della stessa azienda, sono prodotti molto diversi. Sembra che stiano facendo una spinta per passare gli utenti di join.me a GoToMeeting.

GoToMeeting has a lot of features, which makes it the product to purchase if you're looking for a single simple meeting solution. It does screen sharing well, it does video well, the audio is clear, audiences can participate in a number of ways. In regards to full-feature meetings software, I think GoToMeeting surpasses the competition. Skype is nice for video calls, but when you get large numbers of people it's too costly and onerous. Zoom is probably the product that I consider to be the most similar. If I had started using it first maybe I would be recommending it, but I like the UI of GoToMeeting better (that might be my familiarity talking). Jabber has some of the messaging features and call capabilities but doesn't do screen sharing nearly as well. It's also not suited for as wide an audience. Google Meet or Hangouts I prefer for smaller group meetings and projects, and the video is great, but I wouldn't use it for conferencing or a webinar.
Any time you are looking to communicate with a medium-to-large community that isn't in close geographic proximity I think GoToMeeting is a good product. You can use GoToMeeting as a conferencing tool, and you could use it more unilaterally as a webinar tool. Either way, it allows you to send out invitations to let people pop in from wherever they are. We had a person in a different time zone that enjoyed being able to use GoToMeeting on mobile while the rest of us were in a traditional work setting. I think GoToMeeting is less cost efficient and maybe too formal for smaller meetings. There are a variety of free products that can handle those needs. GoToMeeting still works as effectively, but it's just overkill. If you're working in a project setting, something that offers more file-sharing tools is probably better. I consider GoToMeeting to be more for reporting or knowledge sharing and less for collaboration, if that makes sense.
Webinars are a breeze with GoToMeeting. The video conferencing is capable and intuitive.
I prefer to use the desktop version over the mobile version. It can be costly compared to other options.

It has been a number of years since I have used WebEx, so I cannot offer a relevant comparison.
GoToTraining has always worked well for our remote training classes. Rosters are generally less than 12 people and students make good use of the interactivity features. Students are able to "raise their hand", use the chat box to communicate with the instructor or student to student, and respond to polls and take quizzes. Class surveys are done using another tool and feedback rarely includes negative reports from students about GoToTraining.
GTM meetings and trainings are extremely easy to schedule and set-up. With just a few details, you can add a meeting and have a link ready to distribute. Once in the meeting or training, controls are intuitive and straightforward. I have had a number of occassions where 1st time presenters have needed to jump in and have managed without issue. Integration with mail service calendar is especially helpful. GTM can add all your meetings to your calendar and automatically sends email reminders to presenter and attendees.
Rarely, we will have a student who has a problem joining the training. Usually this relates to a security setting at their site which interferes with Citrix. This can be problematic if this is holding up the start of a training class. GTM customer service is very responsive and can walk the attendee through the issue, but it does take precious time to resolve. This really isn't a problem on the GTM side, but it is something we experience. Once a meeting has begun, settings cannot be adjusted. An example of where this might present a problem is if an attendee requests a toll-free dial-in after the meeting has started. 2 years ago I was able to inadvertently schedule 2 trainings on the same account 1 hour apart. When the 2nd training started, it knocked out the 1st training. I learned my lesson quickly on that mistake so I haven't repeated it and since it has been so long ago, the ability to double-book an account may have already been addressed.

GoToMeeting is used by my company to present our cloud-based services to prospective clients, to train new clients, and to conduct internal training. It is used across the whole organization. The majority of our sales are made over the phone, so presenting effectively via a web-based service is essential to our success. Additionally, most of our training is conducted via GoToMeeting, so it is an essential tool for our entire sales and implementation process.
GoToMeeting is a great tool for presenting our cloud-based service. I am able to present real-world scenarios, focus on the features that my client most needs, and spend as much or as little time on my presentation as I need.
GoToMeeting is flexible. I can present my product at anytime to anyone who has access to the internet. GoToMeeting is reliable. I have never experienced an "outage" of GoToMeeting. GoToMeeting is simple. Even potential clients who are "low level" technology users can use GoToMeeting. GoToMeeting documents who is attending my presentation, and I can communicate via text with one person or the whole group, so if there are some issues I can quickly address them.
GoToMeeting works best with MS PowerPoint, and not so great with "open office" products. Sometimes my clients' screens go to screen saver mode because they have had no activity on their end. It would be nice if GoToMeeting was able to "ping" their computer to keep their monitor active. It would be nice if I had a visual indicator when a client joined an active session. Sometimes people join late, and if they don't call the audio line I don't know they have joined.

GoTo meeting was already used when I started working at my company, so I'm not sure how it was chosen or stacks up against competition. What determines whether or not we use GoTo Meeting for day to day use is whether or not we have multiple people in-person, in the conference room, as well as multiple remote attendees who will sit in on a meeting. In that scenario, we use GoTo Meeting because it's the system we have for conference rooms.
GoTo Meeting seems to be well suited to hybrid meetings (meaning, ones with remote as well as in-person attendees). It seems to require more IT support than some other meeting platforms, but when set up correctly, allows for pretty seamless meeting support. One of my favorite features is actually screen share links, which allow a computer that is not a participant in the meeting to run slides or share screen via a generated screen share link. However, a lot of these functions seem to require more specialized support and set up than other meeting platforms.
Screen share without having to join a meeting Screen share via link Conference room hub
Instructions on permissions for iOS - our remote workers have varying degrees of success figuring out how to get audio, video, or screen share working since last update Constant rebranding - name and logo has changed several times this year, which is a bit confusing for less tech-savvy users

We actually switched from [GoTo Meeting] to Zoom following a breach where an uninvited user showed up multiple times in one of our meetings. In the end, it turned out to be a worthwhile switch and we now pay less for more features. Don't love Zoom either, to be honest, and we're currently trying to use the open-source alternative Jitsi whenever possible.
GoTo Meeting is a fine choice for business meetings, but not sure why anyone would choose it over Zoom or one of the other more modern alternatives. The quality of the call is fine but not great, the features are relatively limited (no ability to blur backgrounds, for example), and the level of security is about average but the fact that they share your data with third parties isn't a great look for something that's claiming to be "secure." If I'm not mistaken GoTo Meeting is owned by the same hedge fund that bought LastPass, which is all just a little weird and discomfiting for folks [who] need privacy and security on their work calls.
Easy to connect, no account required to join Call-in option is useful for contacting people without internet access End To End Encryption
Clunky Interface - feels old and unintuitive Expensive - no free tier anymore Creepy - shares your data with third parties

Zoom is my preferred meeting product. It is easy to use, integrates with my systems, and allows me to easily connect with even the most non-techy of my clients.
GoTo Meeting seems to be preferred by businesses that are in the corporate realm. I have found that it is not as easy for the general public to use as Zoom, but it offers different options. I have used it when meeting with various organizations to which I belong. The free platform is simple and, generally, easy to use.
GoTo Meeting provides an interface that allows colleagues to connect when distant from each other. Virtual conferencing helps colleagues to engage in conversation and address issues beyond the office. Sharing the screen during meetings allows colleagues and presenters to display images, graphics, and projects with ease. Content sharing allows my team to share creative content among eachother.
GoTo Meeting could be more user-friendly for those of us that aren't in the corporate world. I have found that non-techy people are confused by the program. I have used it both on my PC and Ipad. GoTo Meeting is much easier to use on my PC which is frustrating because my Ipad is more portable.

Being able to communicate with other people in my company and the ability to have it recorded, with being able to go back and see who said what and who was suppose to do what. Just the time of not needing to take notes is wonderful. Now I just print them out and highlight the important stuff. GoToMeetings has made my business look larger than it is when I speak with very large companies. When I set up a GoToMeeting with them they are very impressed. It also gives me the opportunity to demonstrate our products. It's so much better than having them go to YouTube to watch a video. At GoToMeeting I demonstrate and then they can ask questions there "real time." If they want me to change a parameter, I can do that, right then, "real time." So my experience over all is wonderful.
The people at GoToMeeting have made putting a meeting together simple and easy. I have used their product since it came out on the market. There are Individual mode where the video is on one person and everyone else is watching or you can place it in a group mode where you can see the faces of others in the meeting. No need to take notes GoToMeeting will record your meeting and transcribe it for you, then if you have items that were shown in a prsentation to them you can go back and make links they can go to. Meetings can be only one person speaking or it can be interactive with the presenter controlling who speaks when. The people at GoToMeeting are always one step ahead and the communication market evolves. You can watch, listen and speak through your computer or you can still call into an 800 number. I can't say enough about how easy it is to use the software, it only took me about an hour to review the features and felt comfortable that I could operate the software. They are a;ways coming up with new features.
Cons? What cons? I have to say I know nothing that would be a limiting factor except maybe the number of people you can view, but how many people can you really view on one screen. No honestly I would reccomend this to a business of two people that are in different locations to communicate back and forth as it records your meeting and transcribes it. So, no I have no con's

I've had a nice experience using GoTo Meeting. It has become one of the main softwares I use to catch up with my team everyday as it provides the perfect interaction that we need when working together. The meetings feel very natural, as if we were in the office, and it has boosted our productivity a lot because of the quality of the service and the tools it provides to make our communication even better. It also carried us during the pandemic when we weren't able to meet in person, and to this day we still use it a lot whenever we need to talk or when we're preparing a conference. It helps us carry out all our duties regarding project management.
What I like most about GoTo Meeting is that fact that it has a great variety of features that make the experience of joining and creating meetings so unique and successful. It has the advantage of screen recording the meetings/conference so everyone can access to it later, especially if anyone missed it or didn't arrive on time. I also like the fact that it provides great audio and video quality, no matter if the connection is bad, the quality remains stable, and we can create different types of meeting depending on our needs, such as webinars, conferences or simple group meetings where we'll talk about our ongoing projects. Another valuable thing is the different tools displayed during meetings, such as the drawing tools on the board (pen, highlighter, variety of pen colors), which are very beneficial when trying to talk about specific tasks in a meeting, and it gets the point across as well as making the communication better in our project planning conversations. Overall, it's a great tool that I really like using for my meetings.
I would like it to be more accessible when it comes to different platforms such as mobile, because the mobile app just lacks the user-friendliness that the desktop app has and it doesn't feel like the same experience, making it difficult to access meetings on the go. I also don't like the fact that whenever we share files during a meeting, these can only be accessed during the meeting and not be saved for viewing later, and we have to send these files separately after the meeting ends.

In general I've a really good experience with GTM, the video/audio quality is remarkable, and the usability is excelent. In my humble opinion, is one of the best meeting software I've ever used.
It was mainly a company decision, mostly because price/quality rate.
GoToMeeting deliver in general high quality in audio and videomeetings and most important provides really quick and easy way to setup meetings with your team or any other GTM user. It has integration plugin for GCalendar, which makes really easy to setup a "conference room" for a scheduled meeting and invite multiple attendees. The recording option really save your day when there are lots of topics to follow and no time for taking notes. It also have interesting features as indicating who is talking both when you're using video and when is just an audio meeting, which at some points is also really useful when you don't actually know all the attendees. Beside this it provides also regular features as other meeting software like written chat, presenting mode, and so on. An interesting feature of GTM is the possibility for setting up a conference where the attendees are muted and only the owner of the meeting o the authorized person is able to speak, useful for conferences with lots of people; and this state can be modified at any point, for example for the Q&A section. It also provide the option of setting up recurrent meetings without the need of using google calendar, and the possibility of invite extra people by just sharing an URL or a meeting code. Overall I've never had a bad experience using GTM for daily or other kind of meetings.
The only bad experience I had with GTM is when the owner of a recurring meeting is on holiday or leave the company, was almost impossible to change the owner in order to modify the meeting or cancel it. Only contacting with the admin team solved these issues.

The best and unique thing about GoToMeeting is its User Interface which is much more clean and looks more professional than its competitors. GoToMeeting provides the meeting host with several features like Scheduling etc. to effectively manage the meeting. There are all the necessary tools for an interactive presentation like the Draw Tool. Along with Audio Calling and Video Conference calling, Screen sharing is also very easy and smooth with a good internet connectivity. Our organization is using the platform for all types of Video conferencing from quick meetings, discussions, reporting, training and Formal high level virtual meetings in the organization. Before the publication of any major report or article, our team organizes a virtual meet on the platform where we easily share our thoughts thanks to the interactive features and organized user interface GoToMeeting offers. GoToMeeting allows us to share images, documents and presentation files very easily. As per my experience, the quality of audio, video and images etc. is very good and clear. The platform can be accessed from a browser too. It is very secured and safe to use GoToMeeting for Webinars, Video Meetings and Conferencing.
I think a quick demo about using the platform should be added because its first time usage is a bit tricky as compared to its competitors. More chat feature should be available for Free users too rather than just for the Premium users. More email reminders and SMS notifications should be sent to the users before a Webinar is about to get started. A very fast and stable internet connection is required to use GoToMeeting without any issues. A Wifi connection and a PC with a good hardware is recommended, mobile internet would cause lags and buffering.

The overall experience is really good; GTM runs flawlessly every time and it is full of options. The main con is just related to its price. However if you or your company can afford it, it is a really good option as a meeting software.
Gotomeeting is a pretty complete meeting software. It features the most common options on the majority of the meeting apps, such as allow to audo or video conferences, allow to share the screen or give control of you desktop to a participant of the meeting, record the sessions and so on. Besides that it also offers some interesting options that in my opinion give GTM an extra value. One interesting feature is that the metings may have an owner that can set different level of permissions for the participants, allowing them to re-schedule the meetings of only participate as listeners but forbidding to talk. The meetings can be scheduled without need of a calendar app, so you can have your scheduled Daily scrum meeting and just need to access GTM to attend. It also count with Google Chrome plugin and a Google Calendar integration in case you're more comfortable that way. To invite people to a meeting is also really simple. It is possible to send a regular mail invitation, but it is also possiblo to do it by sharing a url link or the meeting Id number. Besides all these features, the audio/video quality is excellent, and I've never have a problem during a meeting.
Maybe the prices are a bit excesive for what it offers, since although other options may not have that many features, they are way more cheaper than GTM and this is the reason my company drop GTM some time ago when we started using G-suite, so we migrate to google meetings.

This is very well designed software for remote meetings with audio, video, and screen sharing. I also love the companion product GoToWebinar that I've used for many webinars over the last several years. GoToMeeting has gained such good adoption that it has integrations everywhere with tools like Google Calendar, Chrome, Zapier, and others. We used GoToMeeting for years for internal meetings, sales calls--basically any meeting with remote participants. I've even used it to pull church members into my Sunday School class on weekends that are homebound because of illness. I like how you can create a persistent link that you can go to every time rather than having to set up a new link for every meeting. Just be careful if you're having back to back meetings with the same link--otherwise, you get the next audience showing up at the tail end of the current meeting. I solved that by creating two persistent links and alternating them when I have back to back meetings. Price is right. When purchasing multiple licenses you can get the price down. It's also very stable in almost every environment including mobile meetings so you can participate in meetings on the go. It requires a simple install that I've never had anyone have a problem with.
It takes more bandwidth than competitors like Zoom.us for similar functionality. Chat is limited to chatting within the meeting rather than creating chat rooms inside your company for teams to collaborate on then hop on a remote meeting. It's meant to be used every time you want to meet rather than an ongoing collaboration tool all of the time. I think they could learn something from Zoom about this.

15Five is a wonderful tool that allows employees to give feedback in a meaningful way without taking up a lot a time. Instead of having to schedule a meeting with my manager, I can submit my 15Five and she gets an update. I think it's a great tool for any business.

When running the Web app I wasn't able to take Mouse/Keyboard control. It is not a full featured web app.
