Basecamp is like a all-rounder for me. It offers numerous features such as to-do lists, scheduling, file storage, and messaging, as well as integrations with other tools such as Asana, Trello and Google Calendar (I almost forget to mention :)) The first thing that comes to my mind is "Limited support for large teams." While Basecamp 3 is well-suited for small to medium-sized teams, it wasn't enough for my team. Number 2 on my list would be limited reporting and analytics. We needed to monitor the activity, task completion or overdue of taskers, and most importantly, whether they were hitting the KPI. Seems like BaseCamp wasn't up to the mark on this point. The Tool is a charmer solving the challenge of coordination and work management. Since most of our team members were remotely serving last year, Basecamp suited the perfect solution. To name a few, I'd recommend: - To-do lists - Scheduler - Real-time messaging feature - file storage and sharing and most importantly, file revision history.

Basecamp is helpful to keep track of workflow. It is also helpful to know the progress of projects and status of completion. I think basecamp is messy, it is not very user friendly and requires too much time to enter projects. Its helpful when all people who use basecamp actually use it. We use basecamp to keep track of projects and avoid tasks falling through the cracks. I realized that it is beneficial because we have limited email space and communicating through basecamp saves email space.
