This system provides us with a magnificent service since it allows video conferences or online meetings to be held, either individually or as a team, it is great because it offers a greater video resolution, real-time chat, telephone conferences, and communication management, among others. It also allows you to communicate from any dive anywhere you are with extremely fast connectivity since the browser is very well structured and this allows the call to be perfect and without connection problems. GlobalMeet Collaboration is an application where you have to know when using it since without knowledge it can cause them to have difficulties when it comes to changing channels; extensions and appearing in a wrong meeting at the wrong time, because it contains several configurations where you can get confused if you don't have experience with this platform, another objective is the interface since its design is a bit outdated, I would like them to develop more colors and a better custom dashboard. I recommend this system to improve both your calls with your clients and work teams because it contains functions where communication will be excelent and your videoconferenes will be perfect and without any problems, it also has interesting procedures such as calendar management, audio and video management and communication management, where these procedures help you improve your online meetings since you can customize them to your way or need, which is extremely incredible and very easy to do and this allows your business and personal relationships to improve. we use this platform for our online conferences and meetings when making calls remotely because it allows us to have better communication with our clients with secure connectivity, great audio resolutions, we can also discuss documents with them, ideas and opinions, it also allows us to share a screen with our work teams where all updates and the pending task can be reviewed, it is also used as a service to improve mobile calls since this configuration is so well structured that calls are fast and very secure with no network issues.

The only positive to ReadyTalk is that it is reliable. Phone logins always work. I do like that you can dial out directly from the conference line as well. Where to begin. If you are the host it takes 4+ steps to login and start the conference - this needs to be streamlined. From an end user experience it is confusing to use phone audio as the join meeting (without computer audio) is only a hyperlink and not an easy to view button. The three worst features of the application are 1) There are no authentication/Unique Logins per conference so every conference is the same meaning any clients can jump into your conference line and could end up on the wrong call. If you have back to back meetings this can be a nightmare 2) sharing an attendee screen takes them being made a co-presenter which then lends them full access to every button and other attendee on the conference. 3) Sharing your desktop can be done specific to application but if you share one application and have another application pop-up the ReadyTalk screen will show a big grey block where the "hidden" item is on the screen. This does nothing other than alert the attendee that you are chosing not to show them something. Host a meeting and do screenshare on both ends - you'll quickly find the user frustration points. Readytalk has been used as our primary client conference application for consultation calls and product training.

NOTHING! Their cost was enticing, but I guess you get what you pay for right? When we were in our trial run, we had numerous issues with their service. The biggest issue we had was that they promised it would be easy to record our online webinars, but it took for ever for us to have access to our video files. They keep saying they needed more time to process. We continued to push on with the software because we were assured when we moved to a regular account everything would be fine. However this was not the case. Once we paid for our year of service, we consistently experienced dropped calls, incompatibilities with web browsers, and worst of all, audio issues during meetings and webinars. We eventually moved to gotowebinar and webex and have 10 times the quality of service for just a a 20% cost increase. Worst of all, after using the service for a month, they are making us pay for the whole year and will not work with us even though we are a small non profit organization with a limited budget. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A YEAR OF SERVICE! Use gotomeeting or gotowebinar instead. Or try Webex! No business problems solved with this product, and no benefits!

The best feature about GlobalMeet is that it can dial an extension to call you into a meeting and it has a pretty straightforward Outlook integration. But otherwise, it caused a near-universal uproar when we switched from GoToMeeting to GlobalMeet. Across the board, our users struggled with connectivity issues--frequently dropping from meetings or failing to connect. Screensharing became a nightmare because it requires you to download and install local agents and extensions and then keep them up to date on top of that. I've also found that GlobalMeet has more lag than other meeting apps I've used--so we frequently end up with people talking over or awkward pauses. The mobile app is absolutely broken--for some reason there are 3 different versions? Hosting a meeting from the iPhone is a real struggle. It's not a terrible meeting application as long as you don't need to screen share or carry out a natural, organic conversation. Honestly, I think we created more business problems than we solved. We did at least realize across our internal departments that we all had something in common to complain about, which built some camaraderie at least.

GlobalMeet has better audio conferencing services than FreeConferenceCall.com in my opinion. We've often had trouble dialing-in with those conferences and we find the "This conference provided by FreeConferenceCall.com" announcement a bit embarrassing and unprofessional at the beginning of meetings. GlobalMeet is not free like FreeConferenceCall.com or Skype but I believe you get what you pay for and the quality and clarity of their lines is worth the cost and gives them the upper hand.
I would recommend the service to anyone who is in need of consistent, clear, and professional audio conferencing. I think PGi and GlobalMeet are clearly one of the leaders in the space. The only knock against the services are that they can be expensive long-term contracts where you're more likely to pay for more than you use. I believe smaller organizations or those with less of a need for audio conferencing may benefit by a pay-as-you-go plan which in my experience PGi has not offered.
Consistent dial-in and conference lines instead of these changing for each call you set up. Consistency makes the information easy to remember and quick to add to meeting invites. Post-conference recap emails help you collect data on who attended, how long they were dialed-in, and their phone # in case you need to reach out to them again for follow-up. Audio quality is excellent. We've never experienced connection issues or dropped calls like we have with other vendors.
There is a cost for the conferencing services unlike competitors like FreeConferenceCall.com or Skype which have free options. However, you pay for what you get and the audio/connection quality can and has been an issue for us with other vendors. There are a lot of shortcuts that can be used on the line to mute/unmute lines, record the audio, request operator assistance, etc. However, these are difficult to memorize so we end up forgetting or relying on a print-out of the shortcuts that we keep near our desks. I wish there was an easier way to use these such as voice commands. In the post-conference email recaps you get the phone numbers of those who dialed in. However, it can be difficult to know who these numbers belong to unless you remember the direct #s for the participants. I wish there was a way to save contact info for certain phone numbers within the system and let GlobalMeet add the names to the numbers for all future post-conference emails.

GlobalMeet just was the better option just because of ease of use. The interface is easy to use and learn and it offers all of the features I needed. The price was just right as well. I never liked WebEx and GoToMeeting feels like it lacks a little. Blue Jeans to me was too complicated and Adobe Connect has too many features for my purpose.
Well Suited: Any small or large meetings you may have internally or with external stakeholders. Whenever you have to share a presentation or go over documents, this is the tool for you. Less Appropriate: I wouldn't recommend using GlobalMeet for interviews or anything that would require face-to-face connections. While they do offer a nice camera feature, for me it's just not a strength and wouldn't be as good for job interviews or more of that one-on-one setting.
Showing who is talking. This takes away any confusion you may have and prevents users to have to ask who is talking and when. Mobile application. So simple to use and easy to go from mobile to web. I don't think I've ever seen another application that do that. This is a strength because it allows me to have a little more flexibility with my meetings. Sharing documents. You can upload your file online and access it from anywhere at anytime. I am no longer having to remember to bring a flash drive with me to every meeting or email the document to the administrative assistant. Joining the meeting. Oh I can't say enough about this. When joining the meeting is a hassle, it doesn't make people too fond of coming in the first place. GlobalMeet has made it so easy by just calling you directly. Seriously, another one of my favorite feature. People are more on time and less frustrated.
Sometimes, I felt that the quizzes/polls froze on me and that definitely made it easier to keep the flow of the meeting as sometimes I've had to restart completely. I haven't used these features in a while and there has been several updates since then so that may be better now.

In my department, we use it to facilitate meetings that review the EMR build and workflow use. The screenshare feature is an important component of GlobalMeet to help ensure clarity during discussions and decisions. I use it 2-3 times a day running a meeting. My meetings have anywhere from 5-60 attendees. My team additionally leverages it to hold educational webinars. Those also range in attendance, anywhere from 5-35 attendees, but are run multiple times a day.
Allows you to reach staff/faculty in remote practice locations to provide educational sessions around new EMR build and workflows that will impact their day. It works great for running small to large meetings that require screen shares to facilitate discussion and approval of build within the EMR that really requires the ability for everyone to see the same thing so there is no confusion.
With the updated version, it makes it easy for anyone to screen share during very helpful meetings. This is because a lot of my attendees are clinicians and not very familiar with global meet and they would get confused when you tried to promote them The connect me feature is also a favorite of mine. I never manually dial in, I always have the meeting call me. At one point, I was having major issues with the screenshare feature, to the point it was dropping 3-4 times a meeting. This was very challenging as the meetings had around 60 attendees. One of GlobalMeet's technicians worked with me and my technical department to get it working quickly. After that I no longer had any issues.
Right now, the main thing I would like to see is the message playing after connecting via phone be turned off or tell me how to turn it off. Remove the option for the computer to call into the meeting. This always leads to challenges with sound during the meeting. People who do not readily join these meetings often choose this option. no other recommendations, their recent upgrade dramatically improved the tool for me.

GlobalMeet Collaboration was here before I was, however, it is a total piece of junk. It was selected as our tool because it was cheap and their parent organization is a board company. Their upgrades remove features instead of adding them. They keep saying things are going to get better, but in reality, they only get worse and they are incredibly happy about that.
GlobalMeet Collaboration is well suited if you need a tool that claims to be a screenshare/collaboration tool and your company has no budget for one. It is less than appropriate for people who actually want a piece of software that allows screen share and collaboration.
GlobalMeet Collaboration is cheap. The screen share recordings are always high quality and ready quickly in an easy to use format. Customer support is very quick to declare a problem resolved.
Customer Support needs to actually resolve issues before declaring them resolved and ignoring them if they even acknowledge your request for support. Multiple times customer support's solution has been to have over 100 people on a nationwide call disconnect from the call and log back in. This is neither practical nor acceptable in the middle of a call. Screen share randomly stops sharing for no reason and there is no way to know this unless someone on the other end says something. Everything on the presenter's screen shows as the share is continuing. With the most recent upgrade, several key pieces of functionality were removed so a new, non-user friendly interface could be added. No longer are presenters allowed to share documents via GlobalMeet. Also no longer are presenters allowed to poll the audience. These are key pieces of functionality that were available in the previous version and are available in just about all of the competition. When asked about it support said they would try to bring it back in a future release, but isn't the new design pretty.

WebEx seems to be a better product than GlobalMeet from a user functionality standpoint and a hosting standpoint. It is more intuitive, and I have never had a technical issue when using WebEx.
GlobalMeet is well suited for an organization that wants a simple web conference platform with no added features. It seems like this is the way to go if you want to not spend a lot of money for a service. GlobalMeet is not well suited for large organizations, or someone who needs to host multiple meetings and needs robust features such as attendance tracking, presentation sharing, and ease of use.
Something that GlobalMeet does well is distributing a meeting to users. The system integrates well with our Outlook system and allows easy meeting distributions. GlobalMeet is good at providing an easy way to record web meetings. The feature works well and is easy to download after.
GlobalMeet as a system seems to be lacking in a few areas. Particularly, I wish there was a better way to track meeting attendees. There is an email that goes out after the meeting of the attendees, but often this list is incomplete, or is not an accurate reflection of the attendees. GlobalMeet often does not work when we need it to. Even though I have the app installed on my computer, whenever I try to pull up a meeting it works only half the time. Other times it will go straight to the web version even though I have the app. GlobalMeet is not very user-friendly. It is clunky, and does not make the life of the presenter or "host" easier.

I was not involved in the purchasing decision, but choose GlobalMeet over Skype in some situations since not all organizations permit their colleagues to join other Skype environments. WebEx is not widely deployed in the organization. I have just started using Teams, and I am not as familiar with using it yet. However, I have had success with joining other organizations that use Teams on a call. It is disappointing that functionality such as the whiteboard is not mutually available in those situations (yet).
GlobalMeet Collaboration is well suited for a large number of attendees, and the interface is very clean with an ease-of-use that is impressive. I enjoy not trying to dig through submenus to find settings, my meeting link/dial info, recordings, or my meetings. I have had problems with some attendees not able to see shared content on their side but hear the audio. We have also had recorded calls that captured only the presented information, the host's audio, but none of the attendee audio.
Easy recording tools Quickly access meeting information to copy and share Hosted application Recordings are of audio along with the shared content.
Quality of video could use some improvement Addition of whiteboard functionality Ability to see who was sent an invitation accepts and declines from a meeting dashboard Ability to see an attendee list alongside the recording Ability to generate a transcript

We are saving time and money by meeting online and clearing up questions and details instead of waiting for emails to be answered. A meeting with online screen share and live collaboration makes the work of getting people together for a project across the globe easier and more effective.
As a tech savvy individual, I find this simple to use. I successfully manage daily online scrum with a team all remote working for the first time ever after being in a small office together. It's great to get everyone on the same page. I share one of my screens and walk through updates with my team using various other tools. I also do online demos and trainings with clients using the convenient screen share so we can review documents together in real time.
The less tech savvy individuals seem to have a difficult time switching between channels/extensions and showing up in the wrong meeting at the wrong time. I wish it could un-remember your last meeting - or verify which one you were in before joining. I have found the browser to be a good workaround for this if it is happening with client or coworkers.

Unlike some other conference software which requires a host to create a call through a web-based application, GlobalMeet allows users to set up a conference call entirely via phone. Essentially, GlobalMeet keeps a line ready for all clients. When the meeting is to start, guests call in using one passcode (pre-determined for that line), and the host(s) call in using another passcode (again, pre-determined for the life of that line.) This can be done entirely over telephone lines - no internet access or web application necessary. It's incredibly simple to use. There is also an option to use GlobalMeet's software to establish a web-based conference call as well. I haven't personally used that functionality.
Although PGi has a slew of FAQs and walkthroughs on their website for users to better learn about GlobalMeet, trying to find one specific answer to a relatively basic problem took me quite a while.

GlobalMeet has all the features you would expect from an advanced collaboration software and some you might not. It's always been an very intuitive and easy to use solution.
Since GlobalMeet is not part of a complete personal productivity and collaboration bundle like Office 365 or G Suite, integration has historically been a little clunky. It still works, but may not be quite as integrated as those other solutions.

    Dependability and recording features.
It's dependable. We do a lot of international conference calls and it consistently performs well. The features cover our needs. The recording ability is easy to use.
The Cost! We are spending a fortune at our company with the way they price it. You are charged for each caller based on where they are in the world. With a lot of Asian participants, costs run high. Due to this, we have recently made the switch to Skype for Business Conferencing.
