4.5The best part about whereby is its simple interface and shines with its ease of accessibility. No sign-ups are required, and creating a meeting is as simple as choosing a URL and sharing it with my team. As a gerontologist working in remote settings, Whereby has made connecting with my elderky respondents much more convenient as they would get frustrated with other complex video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Meet etc. Beside this it does not need any software installation and seamlessly works in any web browser making it ideal for users who access different devices frequently. And it has all the other regular features like screen sharing, meeting recording and accomodates upto 100 participants which is the best part! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
4.0Back in the day, all of this was free. Today they have a pricing model that makes sense and so while this is no longer entirely free, it does provide very good value, especially compared to the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
0.0If I really had to consider the downsides of using Whereby, it has to be spelling out the name each time. People sometimes think it is Wherebi or Wereby or Werebi and it can be frustrating. Maybe a better sounding link would make this even easier while keeping the company name? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
0.0Zero admin control, very buggy, not reliable, and not worth your time and wallet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
2.5I prefer Rabb.it because it has a Chrome VM inside of the app, to allow people to control content that is not shared on their screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

10.0I use Whereby for coaching clients, both nationally and internationally. Having had the standard version when it was then known as Appear. In, and then in the last year or so the paid option, which has the handy record feature. Clients appreciate it that I can send them a recording of the session for them to review at their leisure.
Ease of loading the app No codes or silly time wasting with getting connected
10.0Whereby (formerly Appear.in) has been used as a quick video call connection to our team members in other office locations. The user experience is quick and simple. Simply double-click a desktop shortcut to the unique room URL. It is used for all team meetings, several times a day. No logging in, no forgotten passwords, or extra steps required. Simple!
Simple to connect User friendly
10.0We are a fully remote team. We use Whereby for daily stand-ups and one-on-one meetings across the organization. As a distributed team, Whereby lets us have ad hoc and scheduled face-to-face meetings and working sessions with employees who are spread across two continents and three countries.
Drag-and-drop windows help keep track of who has given their update in stand-ups Ability to collaborate on Google Docs and Spreadsheets within one video conferencing window

5.0Overall: I like these services because I can create one unique link to share with family, friends, and coworkers, with this just enter the link and you are instantly connected. I will add some sort of approval by the admin to join the meeting.
5.0Overall: It is a very easy to use tool, very stable and that allows there to be a fluidity in any meeting that is maintained through it. You can make use of features such as video, screen sharing, audio and chat.
2.0Overall: It has to be worked on. The idea is nice and neat, but the competition is far better. Start by organizing the screens on the panel, cut off the mic automatically if the participant go silent etc.
5.0Overall: Facilitating really solid communication via a remote needs. We were on Zoom for a while but realized its just too complicated for what it offers.
5.0"A Powerful Web Conferencing Solution - Whereby"
4.0"Wonderful if you can stay in the free version"
