I EXPERIENCE phenomenal control over all my data, commitments, opportunities, and projects. I now excel at execution. There are fewer things on my mind due to Daylite's automation features. I manage both my business and family life with Daylite, an integrated solution for information management. When I realized my peace, sanity, and time were worth protecting and was fed up with complaining to my wife about a piece of garbage software I was currently using, I did not have a solution to replace it with. It wasn't until I threw the gauntlet down that there had to be something for the Mac that was serious for running my small business did I discover my new-found loveDaylite. I have emotional scars from using other programs at $2100! Thats how bloody it got, how costly. But for a precious fraction of the cost with Daylite, I have peace like a river flowing out of my personal and professional commitments. I am in control. Thank you, Marketcircle! This year marks my thirteenth anniversary with my new love, Daylite. She has been so good to me. She is flexible, customizable, expandable, able to take on new tasks and projects without fuss. It's been a peaceful thirteen years since our new relationship began, and God forbid that I would do anything intentionally to betray that relationship. It wasnt long after being introduced to Daylite that her hidden capabilities came into view. The more time I spent with her, the more I became grateful for her creator. "You mean this company fosters feedback from the experience I am having with their prize creation? You mean I can have a hand in the engineering enhancements beyond what she is doing for me today? This is phenomenal! It has cost me dearly to arrive at a place of peaceful productivitythis speaks to the warfare surrounding bringing increasing order to the jurisdiction of your family and family business. I have the right tools that are serving me now. If you are not currently experiencing such a relationship with your digital/computing life, I can most certainly make the appropriate introduction to Marketcircles Daylite for the Mac so that you too can experience a similar transformational relationship with a functioning digital assistant. No more divorces! Ive found my true love because she serves me well. There are no downside to this love affair. The final solution in relationship management for work life and home life. Hi Barry! Happy 13th-anniversary with Daylite! We're honoured to have a customer like you, and your continued support all these years. Thank you so much for taking the time in reviewing us, we greatly appreciate it.

I love that to start, there's an outstanding amount of customer resources to help with troubleshooting and exploring features that are simple, intuitive, and informative. Beyond that, they also make it incredibly easy to contact their customer support team if you experience problems or if you have any questions regarding their platform. Every time I've reached out via email, I get a response within minutes, and the problem is typically resolved just as quickly. In the rare instance that a potential product improvement is uncovered, their support team is careful to listen and understand our concerns or suggestions so that they can provide the full context of our pain point to their development team. I continue to be impressed by this team from all the improvements they've made to both improving performance and query load speed times, to come up with new features that have allowed us to be more productive and effective as an organization. In the past, I've used Salesforce and in my experience, whether it was Salesforce Classic or Lightning, it always felt notoriously slow, cumbersome, and needly complex to perform simple functions and the customer service experience was always "meh." You might get to the solution you need, but you were never really crazy about it, and if you wanted to make a feature recommendation you never really felt confident that it was actually going to go somewhere. There's not much I can think of. I don't believe that there's a feature to send mass emails through them, but it's never something we've explored since we've always been comfortable exporting contact lists to Mailchimp to send out campaigns, and there isn't a feature to directly create or log calls or invite someone else such as a sales manager to be able to sit in on the call in the background to provide feedback. Our organization logs call notes manually and work in pairs when having calls with a customer/client which allows us to always have one person typing up notes. If you're looking for a CRM that has more features to simplify that type of sales/outreach experience, then this may not be the best fit. As a whole we use Daylite as our primary CRM to track and log customer/client relationships, explore and identify new opportunities, and uncover trends in our data. Hi Daniel - Thank you so much for this incredible review and for your ongoing support! We are happy to hear you appreciate our customer support teams and that Daylite has helped you and your teams on day-to-day operations. Thank you!

Native integration with all Apple platforms puts it ahead of other SAAS solutions for macOS users. Includes email, tasks, contact, calendars, and more. As an example, emails are automatically linked to matching contacts, accounts, opportunities, and/or projects regardless of which Apple platform you are using. And Daylite can support multiple email accounts simplifying your life if you are an independent consultant. I often have 3-6 different email accounts for various clients. Daylite helps keep them straight and tied to the right client. Being a long-time Apple device user, Marketcirle's focus on Apple platforms is great for me. While this does make them somewhat unique for business applications, it does limit their user base. Even for relatively small organizations, there may be someone who needs access to the data but uses a Windows or Android device. In my opinion, it would be a plus for them to offer a web-based user interface for those customers without macOS or iOS devices. Daylite offers comprehensive CRM features offered by most competitive solutions for small businesses. It helps me keep track of prospective clients in various stages, and track ongoing projects with current ones. There are group email features native to the app, and add-on integrations with MailChimp for more demanding email needs. Lists and new leads can be directly captured for simplify data management. Hello - Thank you for your review! We're happy to hear Daylite's linking capabilities and email assistant help you on your day-to-day business operations. We appreciate your feedback and ongoing support!

It connects things together and has a Mac App feel. Contacts integration is pretty good. It's the only CRM of its size I've ever used, so keep that in mind for the "dislike" section. I'm looking at this program compared to other programs I've used on Mac, not necessarily compared to other CRMs. So maybe this is the cream of the crop. If it is, I'm afraid to see the others... It is perhaps the clunkiest and most confusing professional program I have ever seen. It is incredibly intimidating to use and learn due to the bad UI design, unintuitive actions, the simultaneously uselessly redundant/non-existent/unhelpful labeling, and one of the worst "more details" and "edit" functionalities I've ever seen (I hate those stacking sidebars that hide everything and cover each other up). Calendar integration is a joke. The Today view of the Daylite calendar is a joke. The iPhone/iPad app is a joke (it took literally 30 minutes to set up and if I did anything like lock the screen or even pull up the control center, it would crash). And don't even get me started on importing things from other programs... It's one of those apps that updates all the time and each time it has run another installer... I hate apps that do that. It's a Mac exclusive app, so why isn't it in the app store??? It's not the worst app I've ever seen, but it comes close. Go slow when implementing Keeping track of cases, projects, clients, meetings, appointments, contact info, opportunities. It certainly does all that, but not very well.

Daylite has great linkability, allowing for building a robust overview of a client and all my business activity. The UI is tired and needs updating to modern standards. They need to adopt a more Kaizen approach to reducing the number of clicks to create links and relationships. Due to the slowness of entering data (because of the outdated interface), If you have a dedicated admin person youll likely be much happier with Daylite than has been my experience. It also crashes frequently, sometimes hourly. It makes it difficult to keep in sync with the mobile app because that requires a dedicated device to sync with the database. It isnt a truly seamless sync because if the client isnt open and running on that dedicated computer, any changes made on the mobile device simply dont get synced in real time to the database. Appointment and task tracking are extremely useful when linking to projects and opportunities Hello there! We're very sorry to hear you've been having issues with your Daylite experience. Please know you can always reach out to our customer support teams so we can check out your Daylite version and find a solution for you. We appreciate your feedback and are happy that you enjoy Daylite's linking capabilities!

Daylite is user friendly. We don't use every function of the program but the functions we don't use don't seem to get in the way. The central data base for clients is really functional as well. We can even link it to our direct mail system to have marketing newsletters appear to come from different users of Daylite, depending on who we write in as the owner of th an individual. I don't like a feature of the latest update where you have to pull across the side bar in order to see tasks & pipeline and Estimate in opportunities. The older versions automatically made the side bar wider which was much easier, I don't get why it was changed. Staying on top of tasks is very easy as they can be easily linked to the calendar and an opportunity. It blends into one really well with the projects, email linking, task linking to make managing projects very easy. Hi Noah - Thanks for taking the time to review Daylite! We're glad to hear that you're finding our product to be user-friendly and the client database to be helpful.

Daylite is promoted as great for getting new work. It is but it is much more than that. Once a new job is won, Daylite tracks the work, keeps time and records all movement on the file. When you time cost work, the ability of Daylite to track every action taken and all letters, and emails and documents received quickly and efficiently is fantastic.

After developing my entire CRM system around Daylite, they switch to a subscription service. It's bait and switch. My data and my system are now being held ransom. The company cannot be trusted. Don't commit yourself or your company to them!

Daylite is used by the project management, billing and sales departments. We use Daylite to track and monitor client accounts, communications, sale opportunities and overall contact information. Daylite addresses the problem of organizing client information and communications when there are several people who need to contact clients and coordinate their communications with other teams. Daylite helps us keep track of emails sent between the client. It is also our "contact book" that has all the clients contact info and any special notes that would be helpful for other team members to know. Daylite also helps us track sales opportunities and what packages and services different clients have ben sold on or if they aren't interested in something we've already talked to them about. Overall, Daylite keeps us organized as a team!
Daylite is awesome if you have a lot of clients and you need to keep track of who is talking to them and who talked to them about what. It is awesome if you have several people who manage the project a different points because you can easily get caught up on a client account or pass it over to someone else. Our projects follow the common flow where the client first speaks with a sales rep then they are passed off to a project manager and the billing team and then when the project is complete, our help desk manages any communications. Daylite is amazing for helping all of our teams coordinate their efforts so the client has a smooth sailing experience.
Daylite allows you to link your email so when you email a client it will link to their contact in Daylite and save the communication so anyone on the team can see all the emails that have been sent between the client and our company. Daylite allows you to create "opportunities" for the different packages and services we offer. This lets us track where someone is in the process, if they are still thinking about a service, have been sold on it, or are not interested. Daylite lets you leave notes on the account that everyone on the team can see. This has been so helpful for our company because it lets us drop helpful notes on personal things about the client that would be good for everyone to know.
Daylite doesn't let you connect to every email option. Last time we checked it wouldn't let us integrate with G-mail (which is widely used), so we have to use the Apple mail through G-mail so we can link Daylite to our emails. It's not a big deal, but could be improved. Daylite has templated fields for adding contact information, while it gives you a lot of options, it doesn't let you edit all of the field choices. So if you want to have a field with a specific date, you can't change the name of the field to say "start date" it will just be "date" or whatever it is preset to. The lists and smart lists that Daylite lets you create are not as intuitive as they seem. They have been difficult to set up and edit and it's made it hard to create lists with specific clients that anyone can edit, it only lest the person that create it edit it.

We have used Daylite in the business for over 12 years. We are quite happy with Daylite and its ability to manage a very large CRM database. We have over 27,000 Companies, 15,000 contacts, and thousands of projects and opportunities. Apple Mail integration helps link emails and attachments into a central database for an easy-to-use central repository and customer/project history. If we need to look up history on a project or the status of an Opportunity, all staff just need to go to one place to find it all. The filtering abilities and fast searching are amazing and very versatile. I have not seen another CRM with this ability, speed, or ease of use for searching. These searches can then be saved as smart lists and shared among the organization or specific teams. Integration partner iOSXpert has some really good tools to extend the features of Daylite, too, such as Web Forms, automation, and MailChimp Integration for email marketing. Daylite Cloud now easily connects to Zapier for integration and automation with hundreds of other cloud solutions. With this, there are so many more options available to the company and various team needs. Tracking the many opportunities, contact forms from websites, projects, and all the people and companies we work with - Daylite has been key in keeping this information straight and at our fingertips.
Well suited for any size company which needs CRM management. Easy to use. Great for individuals or teams that use Apple products. Daylite and ios expert integration has been key in capturing leads from our website into the Daylite database, plus then if they opt into email marketing, they are entered into the MailChimp database. The web forms also automate the creation of opportunities and are linked with the contacts/companies. Sales Managers with geographical responsibilities can easily filter contacts or projects based on these regions so they only see what they need. Daylite is not appropriate for Windows users.
CRM Management. Filtering and Smart Lists. Integrations with other tools. Apple Mail Integration. Data Management. Opportunity and Project Management.
It would be great to have a web-based Daylite so that Windows users could use this as well. Multi-Factor Authentication is needed as soon as possible.

I actually jumped to Daylite when the company managing Now Contact & Now Up to Date (which was a pretty good software) collapsed. I tried several solutions, from File Maker to others, but several of these companies are disappearing one after the other, which is a real problem with a database management. You need to trust a software on the long term for that, and Daylite is the best option I found until now.
I've been using several contact organizers in the last decades, and I must say that Daylite is the best I have used until now, despite the evolutions it would need. An important point to insist on is the very good quality of the customer support, both reactive and patient, I had some issues they spent time, in real time, to solve. Very comforting when you use this on a daily basis as I do. I actually can't find any reason not to choose it. And I really have no involvement in the company, far or close ;-).
Calendar : much more powerful than the basic Apple Calendar, it allows to schedule all kind of meetings, repeated or not, and to link them with contacts, categories or documents. The sync with mobile apps, both on iPhone and iPad, is perfect. Contacts : a vital part of the software, as I manage contacts in many categories, and can with Daylite both have them I select only on my iPhone, but have multiple search criteria which are very helpful for my emailing list management for example. Tasks : as an independent musician, producer and manager, I have a huge number of tasks to organize and coordinate. This is vital for my activity, and I save a lot of time with Daylite, as everything is with it simple and effective in order to create tasks, link and follow them.
I still do not use the Project part as much as I could do, even if I tried several times. I think some improvements could be done with the interface, in order to make it more intuitive. The software is intented to be used with a US/Canada logic. It would be nice to be able to organize fields in the contacts in a different way, more logical to the different countries it is used in. Each country puts zip codes in different place for example. It would also be nice to have the possibility to assign a contact to several categories, and to create sub-categories.
