    Workbooks is a user frieldy online CRM platform which gives variety of solutions and is flexible enough to cover the needs of the business. Behind the platform seats a professional customer service team who is very helpful and responsive which is extremely important when dealing with technical or set-up issues or implementing new solutions.     I have been using Workbooks for just over a year, and have not yet found a problem which I have had to say 'Workbooks cant do this' due to the vast amount of options, support and customisability the system offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

    Their training courses are detailed but also there is so much to cover in just 4 days and learning doesn't just stop after you have attended the courses the online support site is a great tool to aid any further learning or to recap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

    Pretty much everything about the tool, from the overly complicated UI, to the features and functions it doesn't have that even free offerings support.     There are too many tabs and it's confusing. If I put in a part number, only a portion shows in the tab. Overall, I find it's not user-friendly. I tried to put in new items and had to call our IT person. There's no way I would have found it on my own. It should have been a simple choice to enter a new item.

    Moving clients through the customer journey is too clunky, you can easily end up with duplications, lose the data, or sometimes set the record up only to not be able to find the client at a later date. This could perhaps be due to the fact we didn't have the top functionality.

    Sending emails from within the CRM was possible although setting up templates had to be done on an email by email basis and had to be either text or full html. There was no wysiwyg functionality. For this, you needed to purchase the add on of Gatormail. This also meant that there was no automation on emails. Automation of functionality had to be done by the 3rd party vendor /support - whilst this comes as standard foran admin on most CRMs it was not in workbooks as it again required background set up rather than drag and drop. Reporting was also not drag and drop and was made harder requiring work by the 3rd party vendor /support. Adding in fields to a tab, 3rd party support ... this racked up costs on development that should have been done by the administrator. Data was strung across multiple tabs and windows making updating records time consuming and led to many of the users not engaging with the CRM and data not being captured. When reaching out to workbooks themselves they pushed us back to the 3rd party vendor each time.

    Workbooks is being used as THE sales and marketing tool across the company. The whole of the sales process is mapped and reported upon. The area we wanted to improve was cross utilisation of a single database for sales, marketing and business development, hand-over from one exec to another, back up and support in the office for sales people on the road. This has allowed us to report upon the progress of sales and revenue vs targets and forecasts.
    Sales process management from enquiry to delivery of product This was previously on as many as 4 systems using excel and legacy applications such as the written word in log books Automatic reporting for financial compliance: once built, the reporting process reduced the workload on a monthly basis from 2 days to 20 minutes The FD loved it The overall capability of the package enabled the sales force to rapidly pull our pertinent data for a sales call, plus managing time and resources better for increased efficiency Business development and focussed marketing became so much easier, we noted that the process paid for itself many times over

    Workbooks is being used across Lucid Switch to fully manage our customers, and improve efficiency and productivity. We are able to customize workbooks CRM to help companies integrate cloud-based software solutions.
    Its very user friendly and has an interface that's easy to understand and use. Its easy to customize layouts views etc. The quality of service delivered to customers has improved. Overall it has helped the company to grow and continue to do so.

    We use Workbooks as our CRM, sales pipeline management, order book, invoicing tool, and marketing management system. Over the years we have slowly added more things to the list of things we use Workbooks for, but since moving our accounting away from Sage and on to Xero, we have begun to stop using Workbooks for things like supplier orders and collections.

    The entire company use Workbooks including admin, finance, sales and management. In the sales department we use it to track web leads and manage KPI's and forecasting. It allows the team, who are not all based in the same office, to see what is in the pipeline and manage progress.
    Searching for names can be slow. Workbooks is a complex system and can take a little while to master. Managing multiple user types can be tricky to get the right security access.

    Workbooks is used for lead management for the sales team, the operations team use it to manage our current customer base and the support team use workbooks for support cases. It allows us to manage clients in one location rather than using a number if different systems for support, leads and customer management

    We selected Workbooks CRM in competition with other cloud based CRM packages, for a client new to CRM. Key criteria were flexibility, ease of use for the sales force, and ability to provide a basic quotation system for a fairly complex product line (We had previously looked at specialist CPQ systems, but decided to go for the integrated capability in Workbooks). The presales support was excellent, the vendor showing a real understanding of the client's needs and desire to get to the optimum solution. The product has a fairly 'traditional' look and feel, easy to navigate in a way that will be very familiar to Windows users, but not as 'sexy' as products like Pipedrive which are based on a more modern UI paradigm. Functionally, it covers all the CRM bases well. The quotation capability required some custom work to meet the client's needs but as in pre-sales the support was excellent. I would recommend the product to anybody looking for a full function CRM for small to mid sized sales force, who wants a quotation facility embedded.

    Initially Workbooks was taken on to replace the relatively medievil practice of managing prospects, pipeline and forecasts in spreadsheets and make information more accessible, and ultimately improve the way in which we dealt with customers, suppliers, prospects and so on. Once we started to trial and use the service we recognised that we could use it for much much more, and in fact we have been able to reduce the amount of paperwork and personnel involved in managing certain tasks, such as producing quotes or tracking the success and return of marketing campaigns. We are a big advocate of Workbooks, and it is and has helped us shape the way in which we work for the better. We have now been on board for 18 months and will extend our usage of the service in the future.

    I'm about two weeks into using Workbooks and I have to say that I'm extremely impressed with the product. One thing I can stop thinking about is the desktop-style UI, with the movable windows, file icons, and pop-up start menu, all work just as well as Mac OS or Windows (Pre-W8) desktop. I've never seen a web application do anything remotely close to this, and didn't know it was even possible to have something like that in a browser. Really friggin' cool, blows the more traditional setups you see in Zoho CRM and Salesforce out of the water. The workflow customization is top-notch, and I've been able to keep an eye on all my sales team's progress with leads, activities, emails, and phone calls with minute precision via WB's reporting capabilities. Bravo.

    We use Workbooks to keep track of all our members, providers, volunteers and sponsors; communication and for managing activities. It saves vital time, which is invaluable when you are running a voluntary project as well as a business. Most importantly for me, it is easy to use and quick to learn. I really like the fact I can quickly filter data, so if I want to list all members and what activities they are interested in, it's just a couple of clicks and I have what I need. I can easily send emails or track projects. I like the fact that we can easily personalise it to meet our unique project requirements. I am keen to now use it in my training business.

    I have always loved working with Workbooks. All of their staff have never failed to be as helpful as they can be, and they are very quick to support us with any issues or queries that we may have. Their CRM package is very different to the kind of platform that a company like TDS would require but they have always helped us customize our databases so that we are able to support our products as best we can. Support team, in particular, stand out as a team that provides star service whenever we need help, and I cannot praise them enough.

    From what I can gather, it was a slow process at the start and the implementation from both our side and workbooks could have gone better. However, I was not around for the first couple of years of it being implemented but since I have joined, the usage and what we get out of workbooks is much better. The relationships that I have built up with the teams at workbooks have also been a huge factor in ensuring that we are now working towards having a system that are business now sees the benefit of having.
