At Label Insight our sales / customer development and customer success teams are using HubSpot Sales (Pro version) as well as Salesforce. For us, it's made us more efficient at things like sending emails that are often similar but with a touch of personalization, scheduling meetings with external people, sharing and tracking documents, and more. Also, we can easily track opens, clicks, and emails in our CRM (Salesforce).

I was incredibly specific on the discovery sales call about what I needed the software to do and why I was switching CRM's. I run a tutoring business, and I need to intelligently track parent and student relationships. I need to use templates and mail merges that can address both the parent and the student which are different contacts within the CRM. Kathleen Rush, my sales associate assured me that Enterprise could easily do this. Of course, Enterprise is $1400 a month, but I was willing to invest big for what I thought was the best CRM out there. After hundreds of hours setting up HubSpot, on our second onboarding call, it was time to set up the smart parent/student contact relationships. My onboarding specialist says HS doesn't do that at all. This was the entire reason I purchased the CRM. I politely went back to Kathleen Rush, the sales associate who said it could do these things and said I couldn't move forward with HS. She says it's a 1-year contract so too bad. We're talking $17,000 dollars for a CRM that can't do the thing Kathleen said it can do. HubSpot proceeded to fight me tooth and nail to keep me in the contract and pocket the $2500 in onboarding fees. I've never seen a company treat its customers so poorly. The sales team will lie to the moon and back to close the sale. Products like Zoho have infinitely more features than HS and are 1/15 the price. Avoid this company at all costs.
