4.0BigTime is a highly robust time-keeping, resource management, and billing system with a first-rate implementation process. The high level of attention to clients' needs AND wants creates a custom experience from the start. The assignment of a dedicated individual to walk through the build process, assist with the go-live, and troubleshoot everything along the way provides a level of security and comfort that is essential to making one feel confident in transitioning to a new system. Maneuvering through their self-help KnowledgeBase is intuitive; to date, every question researched has been answered. Moreover, when struggling to know what to query in KnowledgeBase, the live chat team is responsive, hands-on and determined to help. Thus far, our experience has been stellar. 5.0The intuitive nature of the software is a breath of fresh air! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1.0There are some nice integrations on the financial side. You can enter hours, bill clients, and track financials. It is better for individual consultants or consulting firms with minimal projects rather than mid size or larger consulting organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1.0The number of membership levels is too rigid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1.0Good idea... no execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
0.5Since I started the program, I have been unable to correctly run a single payroll. Constant technical problems have plagued this app. I am so frustrated! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5.0We are in the beginning phase of this software and are super excited to streamline BigTime for expense tracking, PO tracking and basic cleanup of our current system!
1.0This product was grossly misrepresented to me by the sales team. They don't understand the capabilities of the software and only want to make a sale. It is not a good software for me and a terrible fit. I specifically said I didn't want to have to integrate with QB and now that is the only option I have to get reports and billing invoices. It will take many hours to reconcile back to QB and at this point, it would take less time to start over with a new software.
1.0After devoting many hours to BigTime I realized they would NEVER be able to meet our needs. I had paid for a full year and so asked for reimbursement for the remaining time in the contract because BigTime COULD NOT PERFORM. Management denied my request. This is foolish, short sighted management. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
1.0Service was way more responsive in the past, it has taken a plunge as of recent. Impossible to reach them, Beware.

10.0All employees of our organization use BigTime Software. BigTime is the easiest tool for entering and tracking time and expenses. It's easy to breakdown time by employee, department, project, task, etc., which is great for project management purposes. It is easy to integrate into other tools as well, like QuickBooks for example.
10.0We started using BigTime Software to better track staff time against projects and keep track of WIP. The program is easy to use and the chat support is quick to respond most of the time and able to help, especially in a pinch.
User friendly Customizable options Intergration tools time management accounting reporting project billables
10.0The accounting department primarily uses BigTime, however all staff submit timesheets through the system. The system allows us to bill time to certain projects/clients.
6.0We use BigTime Software to track student attendance and billing. All of the administrative personnel use it to keep it updated and correct. It allows us to have access to the information for our clients anywhere and communicate remotely. We were previously tracking everything by hand, so this has been a major upgrade!
Connecting the scheduling to billing for invoicing in advance of services. Deletion of fields that are not relevant to our company. Allowing the current credit balance to be added to a report for quick sorting.
6.0We use BigTime Software firm-wide primarily for time tracking, invoicing, reporting, and some higher-level project management. It also assists us by providing information for payroll. Previously, we used a modular system that was not cohesive. BigTime Software provides us a solution all under one roof and creates easy pathways for us to invoice our clientele.
The project management side of the software is really clunky Certain batch changes to the clients and/or projects are not available When changing staffer rates, the unbilled time and expenses can fluctuate if you're not careful
7.0We use it for time and expenses tracking and invoicing our clients.

4.0After reviewing four options for Time and Expense Tracking software we decided on BigTime for two reasons: Ease of Use and Invoice Templates. The Time and Expense entry for the engineers in our office was intuitive and easy to learn. The mobile app works very well and is used more than we anticipated. From the administrative aspect the setup is relatively easy and the user interface is easy to follow and understand. I really like how the screens navigate from one to the other and how I can customize what I want to see on each screen. The clicking on the column headings to view the information in varies ways is great. We create about 50 - 60 invoices each month where the format may vary depending on the client for each one. BigTime does a good job of providing a base of invoice templates with the flexibility customize. The one thing that is really missing from the invoicing option is the ability to display the Total Cumulative Amount Invoiced as of the current invoice (prior amount + current invoice amount). I have requested this change and hopefully it will be added. The last aspect is customer support. Two training sessions were included in the software subscription. The first one was good for the very basic information, maybe a little too basic. The second session was much more informative that gave us some good practices to use with BigTime (Brea was very knowledgeable in both). The day to day support seems short handed. Most of the time you have to send an email and wait for a response which could take hours or the next day. As a new user that was a little frustrating. I don't necessarily need to talk to someone on the phone but a live chat would be great to get an answer and move on. That is the one area that I would recommend BigTime address. Overall we are happy with our decision to go with BigTime and I would recommend BigTime to others.
5.0We were switching from an antiquated time & expense software that had reduced technical support to the point where we were almost at a standstill. Big Time was easy to use and set up and we had great support from our account executive from the initial demo all the way through our trial period to quickly getting us set up. Our office has breathed a sigh of relief at having a more nimble and intuitive product to record time & expenses. We were able to quickly set up clients due to the ease of integration from Quickbooks. We love the ability to change reports easily based on what is useful for us and to be able to adjust invoices fairly easily based on what each of our clients like to see. Our staff training has so far been quite minimal as it was easily picked up by everyone. We are in the early stages so we might run into problems later but so far so good. This program also has the flexibility to help us figure payroll overtime with reports rather than having to wrangle the information from an excel type exercise. We have not used this software for any project management type of viewpoint and there are probably better programs out there if that is your mail goal for roughly the same price. However, if you are looking for a time & expense recording, payroll and invoicing program -- especially if Quickbooks integration is also a pro -- then this is a good bet. We have not had to go back to technical support very often as the program is very easy to pick up on. There are lots of options for invoicing looks as well so you will be able to find something that will work for you. There are some quirks or shortcuts that the program uses so please use the set up team and don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand because they are very responsive.

4.0Companies who bill their customers by the hour and have different hourly rates for different types of work can benefit greatly from using BigTime. Time and expenses can be entered by employees and reviewed by managers before being sent to the client for billing. It's convenient that you may log your time and expenses from any device, be it a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile phone.
5.0The best approach to keep track of many projects' time and expenditures. Invoicing is also a breeze because to the platform's user-friendly interface. I can view all of my projects and team members in this platform, and we can all manage everything together. The Bigtime team's assistance is also a big plus in my book.
5.0Overall, BigTime has been easy to do business with and the software has optimize our back office. The front end time and expense reporting system allowed us to kill static Excel forms and provide our users with a clean modern interface to start the data entry process.

4.0I'm using Bigtime to let several contractors post their hours and provide detail on the work done. They only get paid upon completion. It's nice how much detailed reports Bigtime can generate per staff member , contractor and various projects. It gives a lot of detail functionality. Setting up the budget management and project tracking is a bit more work so I have not done it. It seems very powerful though and very rich functionality at this price point. I used Excel first but that was not sust...
