5.0I can't believe how many thoughtful and detailed features this software has. We've only been using it a couple months, so I don't even know everything it can do. But it's been amazing for our small marketing department inside a larger organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
4.5I like that it has what it takes to put instructions for the whole team. There are no buttons or options that are confusing or that they do not deal with like other management platforms like this one Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
5.0How it is interactive and how everyone can see what is happening while it occurs. The notifications alert the people needed to get the task done. It is a good way to get the ball rolling and keep it rolling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
0.0The chat feature could use an overhaul as well as the search feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1.0Shockingly Hive has no way of backing up either externally or within the platform. One wrong click and months of work, for us it is labels for an ongoing project, needs to be reconstructed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1.5It's not easy to add task to an individual gantt chart task list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5.0The visual interface is intuitive. Our Marketing team can benefit from using the proofreading tool. By streamlining the approval process, it shortened the time it took to complete our projects. Anxious users will like the "my actions" tab's streamlined perspective. It's great that any member of our team may serve as the project manager for their respective tasks.
5.0I've really liked my time with Hive. It's a really clean concise interface and has a deep feature set. It was easy to learn and has been a huge help with keeping our projects on track.
5.0The software is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy for everyone on our team to collaborate seamlessly on projects. It offers great features which allow us to assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress all in one place has made our workflow much more efficient.
1.0Gmail attachments make into to the HIVE e-mail interface only about half of the time. Of those that do make it into HIVE about 65% must be downloaded rather than simply read. Hive will read a g.doc via Drive but all other attachments must be downloaded. If you create an action from the Hive e-mail and want to work on the documents that are attached, you would have to download and reattach the the documents to the action card. That renders HIVE e-mail integration about useless if you get a lot of e-mails with attachments. For me Hive is a no go for that reason. But, also because only half of the attachments even make into Hive to begin with.
2.0The ease of use is fine but there are so many bugs with this software. We recently moved to this new hosting platform and can rarely ever log into our back-end intranet to make updates. It constantly logs me out after seconds of being logged in and customer support hasn't been helpful in figuring out why.
3.0Unfortunately, the software was very slow at times and some of my employees reported very long waiting times. One of my employees was not able to use it on Linux PC.

5.0We use it to track various projects within the marketing department. Currently, only about half of our department is using it, and we are intending to implement with the other half by the end of this year.
I am able to assign projects to specific individuals. We are able to comment on projects with each other through Hive. I can forward emails directly to Hive to create projects.
5.0We worked in a business that had a large number of tv productions that all had different teams, episodes, and were at different stages of production. Hive allowed us to work across multiple projects and track everything we did, including all documents.
Document annotation Project tracking resourcing adapting to client needs
5.0We use it to improve teamwork by creating the oportunity to interact with others in a space that is not as strict as the internal platform, we get a way to visualize the status of the job being done. As it has the proof option it's faster to interact and edit. When we have an organizing-next-steps kind of meeting its easy to keep notes in a collaborative way and to fix the steps to take in a list.
Simplicity, it offers a clean environment without risking the outcome. An example of this are the timesheets that allow a fast way to keep track of progress Interaction, the different options make it faster and easier to interact and collaborate in the development of a product. An example of this would be Hive Notes for meetings The different visualisations it offers allow to explore the best ways to affront your projects. I really like the Gantt mappings view to understand who can be contacted at each point
2.0Hive was intended to help us streamline communications around complex processes. It was meant to replace several other tools that we use for the same purposes, and consolidate our work information into a single avenue for truth. We planned to use it to plan web improvement, construction, audiovisual, content creation, and exhibition development projects.

3.5On an everyday basis, we use Hive to track and manage our projects and our ongoing work for clients. I think that the primary challenge that Hive solves for us is time tracking and making sure we accurately know the stages that our projects are in. This allows us to plan ahead appropriately and to make better decisions for allocating work and knowing the workload of our team members at any given moment.
The Hive chat. Billing transparency. Ticket and Software adjustments including the Hive App.
3.5We were using Hive for our project management as it is a great project management tool. These are the following use cases Hive solved for us Task tracking: Hive allowed out users to create and track tasks, assign them to team members, and set deadlines.Collaboration: Hive includes tools for team communication and collaboration, including a team chat feature, the ability to share files and documents, and the ability to leave comments and feedback on tasks.Project planning: Hive offers tools for project planning, including the ability to create and track project timelines, create and assign tasks, and manage resources.Integration: Hive can be integrated with a variety of other tools and services, such as Google Calendar, Slack, and Trello, to allow teams to work seamlessly across different platforms.
Real-time queries: Hive is a batch-oriented system, which means that it is designed to process large amounts of data in a batch mode rather than in real-time. While it is possible to use Hive for real-time queries, it may not be the most efficient choice for this type of workload. Complex queries: Hive is optimised for simple queries on large datasets, but may struggle with more complex queries or queries that require multiple joins or subqueries. Data management: While Hive supports a wide variety of data formats and storage options, it may not offer as many advanced data management features as some other tools, such as data partitioning and indexing.

2.0Overall: An unmitigated horror story of misery and despair. Completely unsuitable for managing multiple complex jobs with many moving parts. A very poor piece of software for granular time management. It has lots of potentially good features but they are all so badly and confusingly designed. It could potentially be very useful and powerful but they need to completely revamp their UI design philosophy to make it easy and consistent. It feels very outdated and not well joined up.
5.0Overall: Hive has made communication between our company's team easy. Now, we don't have to constantly call each other, have follow-up meetings, and walk into each other's offices. We can simply log into Hive and see who is doing what. We know when things are due and what needs to be done next. Because of Hive communication is easy so we can focus on getting jobs done for clients and getting them done on time.
4.0Overall: It's a useful tool for keeping track of everything you have to do. A fantastic platform that prioritizes its users by offering low-code alternatives for constructing automated forms and other labor-saving features. More people will use the software, and it will be more adaptable.
5.0Overall: Overall I have liked Hive. It's been a great program and we will continue to use it. Though it's boring, it does its job well and I recommend it for anyone looking for alternative project management apps from the big ones.
3.0Overall: The platform is great in assigning tasks to team member to keep everyone on track however the desktop and mobile app does not work seamlessly with bugs through the phone platform
4.0"The project management product we were looking for"
