I love using Rippling to stay on top of what matters most. I'm always in the loop and never have to worry about missing something important. Rippling keeps me informed and makes it easy for me to complete any associated tasks. It's really convenient and saves me time, allowing me to focus my energy on more important things. I'm especially thankful for the way it helps me keep my legal stuff in order. Instead of manually tracking every document and filing them our on paper or using a cloud service, Rippling automates most of this process. I can quickly and easily review my company's legal filings right from the dashboard. It's a huge relief knowing that everything is taken care of and up-to-date. It's so good at this it even understands when someone's legal status is more complicated than just "work visa" or "citizen," accounting for millions of people's convenience. Thanks Rippling for that! On another note, I couldn't be happier that requesting time off and logging hours is so simple and straightforward. No more painstakingly filling out pages of forms and waiting for approval. It's all done with a few clicks. I'm grateful that requesting time off and logging hours has become so easy and efficient. It's so much simpler than it used to be with other tools, and it's saved me countless hours of stress and frustration. I'm truly grateful for the technology that makes this possible. I find that Rippling can be a bit clunky at times, which is why I'd love to see a smoother, more reliable user experience. It's the key to a great product that's easy to transition to. I'm always looking for a better user experience, and Rippling could use some improvements. I'd love to be able to do everything more quickly and efficiently, without any hitches. I'd love to be able to access information with just a few clicks, rather than having to wade through pages of text and images. Also, the task notifications are outdated and boring in comparison to the awesome "you got paid" emails that have GIFs! I'd also like to be able to customize my user experience. I want to be able to adjust settings and features according to my preferences, so that I can get the most out of Rippling. I want to be able to access all the features I need, without having to search around or go through text menus. It would be great if Rippling had more automated features too. I'd like to be able to automate certain tasks myself without my manager being involved, so that I can save time and be more efficient and nag them less. I'd also like to be able to easily set up reminders, so I don't forget important tasks or miss deadlines. Overall, I'd love to see a more streamlined user experience with Rippling. I want to be able to work faster, smarter, and more efficiently, without any glitches or hiccups. Rippling is helping me stay on top of my I-9 (and related) documents and team member profile photos. As a Coordinator, I have to make sure that I have the right pictures and info in place for all of my colleagues. Rippling is helping me with this process, saving me time and making sure that I'm always up-to-date with the latest regulations. Additionally, having team member profile photos is a great marketing tool. It helps potential customers and partners get to know our team better and build a connection with us. Rippling is helping me keep all of my team member's profile pictures up-to-date and in one place. Overall, Rippling is helping me stay accountable and organized when it comes to my colleagues and their profiles. It's allowing me to coordinate with our teams more effectively, so I can focus on other aspects of the MarTech department.

The interface is great and one is able to pick it up and navigate without having to contact internal parties or Rippling for assistance. It has also been greatly helpful with the hiring process. Your interface to review candidates and screen them helps save a lot of man hours and help us get to a no as quickly as possible. For a company that is hiring 5 or so people a month, it is imperative that we can weed through the other 100s of resumes as quickly as possible. It is also great to see how other individuals within the company feel about candidates when interviewing them. With Rippling, we can see their thoughts and instant feedback in a format that is digestible and easy to understand. The stars across a handful of categories is very helpful and the best recruiting system that I have seen in my professional life. I have worked at other large institutions in NYC and none had the ease and functionality for recruiting that Rippling has provided to us. I would recommend Rippling for its easy to use interface and its easy to use recruiting system. I think the apps aren't too helpful. Maybe if you could provide a way to scroll over each and get a quick 1-2 sentence description about each app would be helpful. Additionally, the search bar is not great and doesn't recognize a lot of the words that are typed. I think your system is a great starting point but there is more scalability that you can provide to organizations. I would be curious why we should use your expense mangement system over someone like Brex. Brex has credit cards that we can use at the corporate level that then tie into their system. I am unsure if Rippling has this ability. Rippling is streamlining the tech stack here at AcreTrader and letting us execute both internal and external items ranging from the handbook to insurance coverage. I just went through the insurance coverage process for 2023 and was able to execute the entire thing in just a few minutes because your system made it very easy to understand and to navigate. The ability to compare choices was great too.

The only benefit we've found is that the system is easy to use for on-boarding and off-boarding employees. All other functions are better handled by other providers. Least helpful - lack of phone number or person to contact for immediate support. Payroll - Takes some configuring to setup and has very limited reporting functions. Our previous provider was much better. Selected Rippling partially becasue of it's integration with WorkFlow Max but it turns out the process to get them to interact was so complicated we gave up. Benefits - Thought using Rippling as our health broker would simplify the integration. Turns out it is a do-it-yourself system without any human input on the other side. Found out that our vision benefits did not take affect as they should have right before an employee had an appointment. Could not get a real person to resolve this issue for nearly two weeks. Have never interacted with our broker and don't even have contact info for a licensed broker. GSuite integration - Thought this would simplify creating email accounts, etc. When I integrated the services it automatically put me in the most expensive category that cost about 3x our previous cost. Once I realized this and changed our services, it takes 2 months to take affect since they bill 2 months in advance. It is nice to automatically create the account when on-boarding, but it doesn't have an option to delete the account when off-boarding so you still have to do it through google. Also, now that we get gsuite through google our IT person can't work with google directly, which is a huge pain. none

Support is very responsive on routine issues. Some other companies in this space are absolutely terrible when it comes to support response. Rippling makes many promises and eludes to many things that don't end up being delivered. Examples: - At several points they indicated we'd be introduced to our account manager, during the sales process, after we signed, etc. However there are no assigned acount managers, its a 'pool', there's no way to be introduced to an account manager. They seem to know how things actually work and theres no way that how things actually work could be aligned with the concept of 'we'll introduce you to your account manager' - Charging the wrong amounts -- some amounts charged did not align with our contract and this took a major battle to fix, which eventually got fixed but I had to go around support to do it - Product is very unintuitive and most aspects of it feel unfinished. It 'looks' good, but is actually quite difficult to find what youre looking for and things do not seem fully thought out and complete. - As an IT person I find their single sign on and application management system very poorly designed, when setting it up the field labels are not clear enough, the documentation is poor. Support responses are unclear and poor. We paid for the app management but never implemented it and won't implement it. They pride themselves on this part of Rippling and are convinced its great but its subpar compared to dedicated offerings for this purpose. - Migration was extremely rough, they ended up using a data set from 10 months ago and did not tell us this, it resulted in incorrect pay rates and employee deductions that created a mess and embarrassment for us - Due to the fact they off App management, if you want to then use Okta you have to pay a large fee to Rippling to integrate with it which is quite unusual. - Based product functions such as security necessities like requiring 2FA or notifiying if a user does not have 2FA require setting up workflow automations in Rippling, these basic security necessities are not baked in, you have to use a 'recipe'. The reason they do this is so that you burn automation recipes and have to buy more, I think its completely lame to not have basic security necessities around 2FA built in without requiring workflows recipies that are complicated to a non-IT user. - Further related to the above, we signed up for pretty much the full package of everything when we purchased, I think received a pop-up suggesting I setup 2FA notifications, well I accepted it and created the workflow recipe to notify me if a user does not have 2FA and that burnt the 'one' workflow recipe that is built into my package, in order to get more I have to upgrade or purchase their new 'core' product. - They are taking on a lot of the bad behaviors that earned salesforce a poor reputation, yet at this point salesforce has actually stopped doing many of those things yet Rippling does them and justifies that SalesForce does them. - Too much pure revenue driven design, decision making, etc. - I think its actually a bad thing that its a sprawling suite trying to do payroll, HR and IT functions and then basically punishes you in some way due to their own failure of not making one of those aspects good and your needing to use something else - A product that just focuses on HR and Payroll will assume youre going to integrate with other things for everything else and not make that harder on you. - To do integrations that are now common such as slack notifications requires one purchase the App Management product, again this is lame another payroll/HR product would just integrate with slack and not force you to buy an application management per user SKU to simply do slack notifications. - I'm overall pretty frustrated with it and would not buy it if I had the decision again. - I strongly believe they have numerous fake reviews or are using a marketing firm or something. No software product would ever have 5/5 reviews, even iPhone or iTunes at its height probably couldn't have gotten 5/5, there's no way Rippling would legitimately get 5/5 reviews, I don't think thats really even possible for SaaS or computer software period. - I think they focus too much on new revenue producing features than really finishing the features they have - Documentation is poor and seems like a first draft, they are resistant to improving documentation when receiving feedback. - Supposed to be an everything place for all things people, however its really inept and limited in storing documents. It can't store links to OneDrive or Confluence content such as other SaaS applications can injest links to other cloud based content Rippling does not. It ends up not being used for storing HR forms and content. - I have an HR person with a science degree who is very detail oriented and technical and they will still basically not go through trying to use Rippling for things like sending out forms and such because they will say its such a project to setup that they stick with older methods. The primary value for us is payroll, the rest has not gone very well and we're using other systems.

Clean user interface for mobile and web views, especially for HR/B2B software. Rippling is a frustrating and disappointing suite of software for the staff-user to say the least. I've had 8 different issues with Rippling administering the HSA/FSA in the last 365 days. 1) Rippling allowed me to sign up for both HSA and FSA for 2020 open enrollment and then told me I was fresh out of luck and had to eat the $2k that was withheld for the HSA even though I was not in a high deductible plan. Until our HR admin and I fought them repeatedly for 2 months in early 2020 and finally got them to 'make an exception' from their error and give me my money back. 2) Throughout 2020 each time I submitted an invoice for reimbursement of Dr. visits when I didn't have my HSA credit card handy (about 6 times), they would reject the request for reimbursement EVERY time stating the documentation was blurry/invalid (even though it was a PDF invoice, system generated, not a screenshot or photo). The HR admin and I then had to push back on them and their support team each time, fighting to get my own money back that I was entitled to. 3) Now at the end of 2020 (12/26/20202) they showed in the Rippling portal I had the $2k of available balance and would lose the monies unless spent by end of 2020. So I went on a HSA-qualifying spending spree so I didn't lose the money. They then rejected those claims saying bugs in their system incorrectly showed I had a balance I did not. This has ended up being about a $1200 mistake. I asked them to reimburse me the money themselves at was a bug in their own system that caused the error, but they told me to pound sand. Messing up a few times is normal, every software has bugs and mistakes, and people are human. But the repeated mistakes with real money on the line, to me demonstrates gross incompetence at best and fraud at worst. Do better. Our company uses Rippling to administer computer security policies, payroll, time off and HSA/FSA administration.

We deeply regret having chosen Rippling as a payroll service provider for ourselves and some of our clients. Rippling seems to be more interested in the software itself (user interface) than in their main responsibilities which are to ensure that employees are paid, payroll tax deposits are submitted, and payroll reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner. In those critical areas, Rippling failed miserably. We will be taking our own payroll and that of our clients back "in-house".

Traditional payroll software has a clunky user experience. They get the job done, but it's at the expense of more time spent by my HR team in supporting employees in using the software to find what they need. Rippling's self-service features work because it's intuitive and easy to understand. The more modern options have a beautiful, elegant user experience, but they're limited in their capabilities. We wanted a platform that could grow with us and make managing our business exponentially easier the more we expand with them.
Rippling is great for companies who see the value in a great user experience that will help the business be easier to manage. It's not the best option for a company just trying to do things as cheaply as possible. For companies that are willing to invest some time in configuring it, Rippling will help you get to a "set it and forget it" place really quickly so you can spend your time on more valuable tasks. For bigger companies with established processes and vendors for all of the modules that Rippling offers, it will seem more expensive and time-consuming to migrate everything to Rippling - but the payoff is well worth it in the long run if you're on the market for letting technology take over the non-valuable tasks so your people can work on things that really contribute to the bottom line.
Elegant and easy-to-understand user experience Automating everything we possibly can Managing employee attributes and mapping them to other systems Being a single source of truth that we can trust
Being more clear about the level of integrations of apps within the app marketplace More options for roles/permissions (e.g. secondary/tertiary supervisor for time approvals, etc.) Putting Rippling tasks in places where employees spend their time (Slack, etc.)

Rippling has been a Godsend compared to our former PEO, TriNet. Their support team is absolutely incredible with quick turnarounds in responses, and helpful documentation to complement their reply. The platform is very user-friendly for both admins and employees. Reporting is simple and easy to navigate. We have background checks and our ATS integrated and it works seamlessly. Highly recommend Rippling for anyone looking for a tech-driven PEO or for companies debating switching off a PEO since they have both options available as your company scales.
Great product for any small to medium-sized company that is looking for a tech-forward PEO or a company looking to make a seamless transition off of a PEO down the road
Support: Quick, accurate, detailed responses so you can get your question answered with their first reply Customization: the platform allows you to really tailor profile fields and settings to your business needs Listening: They are open to your product feature requests and recommendations as well as any concerns that arise
Labor Law Posters - I would love it if the platform automatically sent these to each employee based on the state they live in so we don't have to sign up for another service to manage or manually send them to each Impersonation - would love the ability to impersonate a user to see what they see to navigate employees through questions they have

I use Rippling to manage my benefits and generally work through the logistics of my day-to-day job functions. It facilitates me switching between jobs to stay accountable, managing my payroll and time cards, and requesting time off from work. Honestly, it's a complete solution for our HR department and it really takes a lot of the hands-on aspects of human resources and makes them a lot more manageable for our teams.
I think Rippling is extremely well-suited for remote employees, especially because it allows companies to onboard their remote employees without having to provide a ton of oversight. Honestly, I think it would work well for in-person scenarios as well, because it does consolidate a lot of steps that the HR department would typically have to take, especially in terms of payroll.
Consolidating things that our HR department would spend a lot more time doing normally Providing a space for employees to manage their time and request time off Providing a solution for onboarding our employees and managing all the apps on their work computers
Stability and reliability, the app does crash from time to time A more comprehensive job code system, to make switching easier than a drop-down menu An integration of learning modules to help with onboarding

Once onboarded, the process is seamless. We love how it unifies everything the HR and admin prefer without unnecessary hassles, maintaining documents and files across the organization. It also has some really well-built and robust integrations, which made our lives simpler. Overall the product is very reliable and just works when executed.
Rippling is fantastic for a growing startup or an organization that includes a lot of manual to digital operational efforts, cutting them down and reducing the time as well. Some of the features, once set up, make the HR's life very seamless and day-to-day tasks very easy to execute with consistent and accurate information. However, I wouldn't recommend for a small company to use it if it has less complexity in terms of its employees, insurance policies, etc. We use it for various types of employees, from interns to consultants to C-level executives.
It collates all the documents relevant to each individual seamlessly and in a very reliable way. The checklist feature makes sure we don't miss out on anything that is important. The hardware allocation was extremely convenient and was super simple to set up, cutting down all the useless inventory hassles we had earlier. Now it's an extremely lightweight interface that lets me manage and circle through hardware and have a single view of everything. Running payroll was extremely helpful and was done in minutes; it made the whole process efficient since we got rid of manual intervention and Excel sheets.
The report generation is a bit laggy and can be improved. It takes a while to understand the schema and structure of it; I really had to get used to it and further train my team on that as well. Onboarding took some time, as this process is very feature filled but demands a lot of strict boundaries and ways to implement things which might be different from traditional ways to do things, which was very manual. I wish there was better documentation and a more process-driven approach The price of the whole end-to-end software was definitely a bit on the expensive end and I wish we could get it for a lower price, as we're a startup and just starting to grow. Onboarding medical documents and physical insurance papers was pretty challenging.

We use it as our HR platform to hire all internal employees. Employees can use it to access benefits, paid time off, vacation time, W2s, pay stubs, and any other HR-related things they need. This is what we use to manage all 1,000 employees. This coupled with our CSS to manage who we are reaching out to and the shifts they work, we don't use anything else.
I think it is well suited for a small team of internal employees. If you were to deal with a large number of employees you are more likely to need more support from rippling and that can be slow in coming. If you have a small team of tech-savvy employees then it will be easy to work together to navigate the issues that can arise from rippling and you won't have to deal with a high volume of them. It is a pretty nice and simple program to use.
Ease of access to payroll documents HR resources at the users convenience Quick onboarding for employees
I9 is really hard to use. When you select a document from category A or B&C, it won't always register and present the next button. So employees get stuck here on the I9 50% of the time, if not more. Consistently E-verifying things It wont match photos every time Could use more tech support It won't let you delete accounts so rehires create duplicate accounts which are difficult for employees to navigate The duplicate accounts are not easy to find, or easy to differentiate, and it won't automatically open the most relevant one

Nothing compares that we know of in terms of covering all bases - a much broader offering than Paychex
Good for smaller companies looking for a one-stop-shop. We wouldn't have bothered if we had liked our payroll company though. Not sure the device management service offers an IT help desk or overlay of security features so we have to double up on that.
Integration between ATS and hiring Simple offboarding Generally visually-simple interface
Reporting - both creating custom reports and then printing or saving them as formatted PDF Payroll - tying the various vacation policies to employee types etc. is so convoluted that we had to hire a consultant to help us Onboarding - shows forms that aren't selected and sends irrelevant forms to new employees or 1099s We have a lot of 1099s who we want to track time in a detailed way and then pay a retainer - too much for the system and we have to have them with an hourly salary of $0 and then retainer separate - annoying. Some of the accruals are funky - still have no idea why more sick leave is accruing than it should and how we hide Jury Duty accrual as we don't want it on the paystub.

we are very happy with our decision to use Rippling. It was the best fit for our small company in terms of pricing, implementation time, and customer service. We reviewed a lot of options and were impressed with Rippling's value and feature set. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their HR and payroll processes and get great support from a dedicated team.
It's important to consider various factors when choosing an HR and payroll management platform, such as features, pricing, integration, and user experience. Without knowing more about your specific needs, it's difficult to say why you may have chosen Rippling over Remote. However, some potential reasons could include a more comprehensive feature set, better pricing, better integration, or a more user-friendly interface. IOS and Android apps are supported, and availability of freelancers. Ultimately, the decision will depend on your specific needs and priorities.
Rippling is an innovative and user-friendly HR and payroll management platform that has made a big impact on our business. The software is easy to use and navigate, with features that make it a pleasure to use. We particularly appreciate the ability to download documents and see paystubs, as well as the fun design quirks that add a touch of personality. The onboarding process is seamless, which is important when it comes to hiring top talent. We also appreciate that Rippling is always moving forward with new additions and improvements, which demonstrates its commitment to innovation. In addition to the payroll and HR features, we also appreciate the ability to integrate other apps, which has the potential to greatly simplify the onboarding process for new hires. Time off tracking and the delivery of documents like W2s and 1099s are important everyday features for us, and Rippling makes it easy to access these and other information. The benefits roll-up and the user-friendly interface make it easy to find what we need.
While Rippling has many positive features and has been a valuable tool for our business, there have been some drawbacks to our experience with the software. One issue we encountered was that Rippling did not file our quarterly taxes and failed to pay federal taxes on the payroll for a few staffers, resulting in financial penalties from the government. This was a serious issue that caused significant problems for our business, and we had to transition to a new payroll provider that was able to handle these tasks correctly.Another issue we have experienced with Rippling is customer service, which has been disappointing at times. We have had to beg for responses and escalate emails to additional staffers in order to get a response, which is frustrating and not up to the standard we expect. Despite these issues, we are still being charged for Rippling, even though they have not performed their duties correctly. While these issues are certainly a concern, we still believe that Rippling has many valuable features and has been a valuable tool for our business overall. We hope that the company will continue to work on improving its customer service and addressing any issues that arise in the future.

As I mentioned, on the HR side of things, it is fairly easy to use Rippling. Payroll has its positives, until something goes wrong and then it is the worst nightmare and time suck that you will experience with a payroll software. As you can tell I am pretty frustrated. This isn't my first time that I have searched for other alternatives. I am considering other options at this point. Somehow the last five times I went through this they came through in the end but not before exhausting me, their customer and my accountant. It's not fun to rack up bills fixing the mistakes for software that I am paying for. If I change it will be to one of the payroll services with phone support.
Rippling on the whole is fairly easy to use and employee friendly, until you get to payroll.
The customer support setup is dreadful. Again, the people are nice, but the way it is handled is not acceptable for payroll. Payroll needs to have phone support as it is a time sensitive issue. I have been through all their growing pains, and feel like I should be compensated for debugging their software. They brought taxes in house and now several tax forms are late, again! There is no transparency with your payroll taxes or payments. I reached out to my account representative and his email address is no longer valid. ARGH. The inability to ever reach them via phone is a huge negative and the email support ticketing system is ridiculous if you have payroll questions. Also several of my open issues were never resolved, and they were over a broad range of issues involving payroll, pto, and insurance, yet they closed all the tickets. Again, promises promises on anything that isn't working correctly. The funding may be rolling in for Mr. Conrad, but they are losing grasp of the basics, as well as the items that used to function properly. At some point the reviews will not be so kind if this continues. If they resolve customer support I would be a much happier customer.

I highly recommend Rippling to any business, especially small businesses. They have the capacity to scale any company's needs. Regarding my small business, it changed my whole HR game. Before it would take me or an employee almost two hours a week to run payroll and administer benefits. Now I do the whole process myself in less than 10 minutes. The new system did take some getting used to, but now I am familiar with process and the value Rippling provides me is incredible.
The price was the biggest motivator. Rippling was much cheaper than ADP. Now I stay because I enjoy to direct control it gives me over my business. Also it takes the hassle out of calling someone and telling them to do this work for me. It is much quicker and cheaper for me to do it myself.
The price that Rippling offers is hard to beat, especially considering all the value it offers. I now have direct control over my company's payroll and benefits. Any time I need to change something in this area or run payroll, it only takes me a few minutes. Also Rippling offers me a plethora of tools without shoving them on to me. I can implement it to the degree I need, and if I need more, Rippling has it for me.
The price of having such direct control over payroll is that any mistakes I make are on me. It took me a bit to learn how to run payroll and administer benefits myself, but once I got it straight, the process has become a breeze. Also, it took me a little while to get used to customer service via email. At first it worried me, but after they dealt with many of my needs in a very timely fashion, I now feel comfortable with the system.

Rippling streamlined our onboard / offboarding process, making it very easy for various tasks to be assigned to the people that need to take care of them. This makes it a lot easier, from an IT perspective, to know we've got everything done for onboarding or offboarding - it rendered my physical checklists obsolete! It also, from a user standpoint, gives me comfort knowing all of my HR related information is just a click or 3 away.
From a user standpoint, Rippling is excellent - it has all of my HR related items conveniently located & easy to access. Payroll, benefits (including insurance details - no more worrying about losing my card!) and PTO all centrally located. From an IT standpoint - as someone who has SOME admin types of access to Rippling, but not full access - it is great to have a central location from which I can pull employee details like title, location and direct reports / who each person reports to. It allows me to keep that same data in sync across multiple systems, using Rippling as the "HR Confirmed" data source. I also love the two-factor authentication requirement. I turn that on anywhere it's an option for me!
I, personally, have no issues with Rippling at all. There's isn't a "likes least" I could offer. I don't know the costs, but we have a very cost-aware management team so I am sure it is competitively priced. I didn't have to get involved in the setup or implementation, but do know that the team that did work through that didn't run into any serious obstacles, and was able to get quick support to any questions they had.

From the demo through implementation, our Rippling experience has been top notch so far. The team is very responsive and the system is extremely user friendly and customizable. I would highly recommend this to small HR teams looking to streamline processes.
The customer support at Paychex is segregated so you have to call a different numbers for every issue, which consumes a great deal of time. The platform is also not very customizable, especially for the price. Lastly, as a new administrator for the platform, it was like pulling teeth to get training and information about what package our company signed up for as well as the pricing breakdown.
Rippling has been a great solution for us as a small company without an IT department. We are able to streamline our on-boarding and off-boarding processes, making it easy to order equipment and remotely update software on our employees' computers. Our employees love the easy app based user interface, making it easy to download paystubs, update personal information, enroll in benefits, and submit FSA receipts all in one platform!
The only con I have run into so far is the lack of phone support for administrators. With that being said, the team has been very responsive via email!

It is simple to keep track of your time in and time out, as well as your lunch and rest periods and overtime, when you use rippling. Vacation requests can be made with ease, as can checking the available balance. This is a fantastic method of tracking such data if you are responsible for a large number of employees. The active benefits to employees are also plain to notice.
My favorite feature of Rippling is how simple it is to implement. The intuitive layout of the platform's menus, icons, etc., facilitates swift movement around it. I can only think of one time when I had to get in touch with HR for help, and that was only because I was looking in the wrong place.
Leave off, vacation, sick time, and working from home are all tracked in Rippling. Our insurance details, pay stubs, and company structure are all readily available through Rippling. It's convenient to have everything in one spot rather than constantly bug HR.
The user interface is boring. The dashboard should provide easy access to frequently used software like time tracking. Despite my objections, I am frequently required to use a two-factor authentication process.
