    Few clicks are needed to complete tasks. Love that the ATS seamlessly helps hire and onboard new employees. Signing off on forms is also very easy to set up and send out, as well as easy to find signed documents in employees' folders once completed. Time off tracking is very simple for people to book and as well for managers to accept or decline. It is also very easy to report on vacation, as well as pull other employee reports and email them off to other people quickly. Lately, they have been making tons of new updates which is always great to see that they listen to feedback and are open to implementing new features, and often. the one thing I would hope could change eventually would be that the ATS could be a bit more developed -there could be an easier way to search in candidates' resumes or an easier way to search for keywords, however i do believe that it is coming and will become much more robust down the line. for a free product, it works for my team. If you are looking for a product that is very clean and easy to use, is very straightforward on the HRIS side of things, and does not need a complex ATS then Bamboo would be great. I feel as though BambooHR does the HRIS side of things really well, it has good reporting, a good signature request process, good onboarding functions, and good time-off tracking and approval functions. The only thing that I can say that it needs to clean up would be the ATS, and I am sure that over time their ATS will be just as impressive. Bamboo is great because it helps us keep everything in one place. It has become our one-stop-shop for all HR needs on both the employee and admin sides of things. great for time off tracking and new hire onboarding specifically. This is something that took a lot more manual effort to do before Bamboo so Bamboo has been great for that.

    Super user-friendly! They've thought of virtually everything. If they haven't, they'll always accept feedback or suggestions and implement them. Personally customized reports are easy to create and use. Everyone meet or work with is beyond kind and so personable. BambooHR employees are great with customers. I haven't run into much I dislike aside from maybe a few features in TRAX payroll that I wish were available. They make things simple and streamlined and are constantly changing, improving, and updating their software. I don't feel like they nickel and dime you for every feature they offer. There are a lot of emails for webinars, customer days, summits, etc. Sometimes they can be a little overwhelming. With that being said, if I only had to focus on HR duties, I'd probably want to watch or attend every single one. Make sure all your employee data is up to date and easily accessible and implementation will be super easy. I've submitted a few suggestions throughout the last few years that I would like to see developed in the future, but I'll patiently wait until then. It is a little cumbersome to submit one piece of feedback for one aspect of the software rather than being able to provide whatever feedback you want and have an algorithm separate it into the different aspects of the product based on keywords or something. Not even sure if that is possible. Even if the feedback form entered your name, email, headcount, etc. by default, that would be nice. At that point, you'd have to select the aspect of the software you're providing feedback on and then give your input rather than entering all that information yourself every time.

    Having all employee data in one place is fantastic. I also really enjoy the ability we have to pull reports, set up performance appraisals, and to send out announcements group-wide. Customer service is great, and so are the onboarding and hiring functions. I would like to have more filter options to send out announcements, so that we can use this feature more often. For example, sometimes an announcement should only go out to our managers, or to a group of people attending a certain event. I would have liked to send out all HR communications via BambooHR, but we have ended up using both email and BambooHR. It would also be great if inputting holiday days could be easier. For example, we operate across 5 countries, and setting up holidays for each would have been preferable if we could have made a section for each country. Now each holiday is labelled with the country and holiday name, which can cause some confusion. Lastly, it would be very helpful if when requesting time-off, employees can say which hours of the day they will be gone /(for example, from 8am-12pm), and that their google calendar or calendar of choice is automatically updated with this 'out of office' information. Before BambooHR, we had no central location to store our data (even though we have employees in over 5 countries worldwide). BambooHR has really solved this problem for us, and top management are now able to see all employees at a glance. It has also helped us now that we are a Remote organization in terms of access and visibility.

    Originally, we loved the ease of the navigation of the system/ATS. It's attractive on the aesthetics side and easy to navigate overall. Training time for my hiring managers was minimal. A few things: 1) It's almost impossible to get someone on the phone and their resolution on problems takes 2-3 weeks, with usually the response being that it's a "limitation of the system" or their product development team asks you to do research to figure out the issue 2) Reporting from the ATS side is non-existent as is the capability of the ATS. The limitations to this piece are endless 3) While they state users aren't required to use specific browsers and their are no preferences, certain browsers will not let you access the system via phone or otherwise 4) This system still requires a significant amount of manual work. No e-signature documentation. Be specific when asking about reporting capabilities and if the ATS is important to you, get really in depth with them. Their sell is "well yes, we offer an ATS but we have this great HRIS" not realizing that both go hand in hand. A hire does not begin on their first day. It begins in the submission of the application. We are growing at a rapid rate. We needed an ATS and HRIS in one. The problem is that this system only truly focuses on the HRIS peice and the ATS is left in the dust. Which, when you're a growing company and constantly hiring, is important. Thank you so much for the feedback, we value it greatly and we are so sorry! No excuses - we'll just get better :) We've learned more since this post, and had a good discussion about why it happened and what to do better. Also, for any considering BambooHR - please call and ask us about these issues, we're happy to clarify and share more! We believe strongly in transparent and open communication, and are proud of our reputation, customer love, and service. We feel nobody does it better. We're not perfect, but working hard at it!

    This review is strictly for Bamboo payroll. Bamboo HR is pretty good overall. Bamboo Payroll is not synced with Bamboo HR. Not only this, but also the specialists in Bamboo HR and Bamboo Payroll do not have any crossed knowledge for each platform. And everything they do is manual including manually entering each paycheck. There is no way you can finish payroll on your own, since you need to contact Bamboo Payroll for any changes. From there, your assigned the payroll specialist will send you the payroll registry in pdf. There is no excel report available. Now I understand why an payroll specialist is assigned to each account. It's basically a payroll service that they will enter all the changes for you. But you will need to tell them all the changes, and reviewed it once it's done. Because it's a manual process at their end, it takes average 2 days to get everything correct. And in the 2 days, there is nothing you can do besides waiting. We didn't get any payroll training until the day of actual payroll, and our payroll specialist told us that they are way understaffed so our requests will not be visited on time. And there is nothing they can do. Stay away from Bamboo Payroll 100%. It is a nightmare. Payroll. We had payroll service with Gusto and they are great. The only reason we moved from Gusto to Bamboo Payroll is we have Bamboo HR for our HR side. We were under impression that once we moved payroll to the same HR system, all the info from HR will be synced to Payroll. But it's not the case. It takes us about half day to do payroll within Gusto, and now takes average 2 days with Bamboo Payroll. Everything is manual here and the payroll specialist is slow to respond. Execupay is also very hard to work with.

    BambooHR is pretty. The way things are set up is logical and seems as if it's easy to use. A couple things: We were promised that BambooHR would have it's own E-Signature capabilities by the end of May. This program has yet to roll out and it's the primary reason our company chose Bamboo to begin with. We have signed up with another company that has compatibility with Bamboo, but it would be really nice to cut out the middle-man and not have to use two different sites when trying to do something so simple. Especially since this is one of the MAIN REASONS we signed with Bamboo. So right now it's just working as a storage site for us until we can get access to that e-Signature capability. Another thing is that we have not yet rolled this out to our employees/contractors because it's not at the place where we need it to be. I am keeping up records on there for the company, and recently learned that the supervisors in remote offices are getting BambooHR emails when I thought all of the permissions for them were turned off. That was a little bit confusing to me. The third thing is that you can't change the names of the tabs at the top to reflect your own business. So Bamboo is showing everyone as "Employees" when our company deals primarily with Contractors. It would be really great if someone could write a simple code to change that accessibility and make it more useable. I wish we had known this before signing on with Bamboo. We are trying to make it easier to access our contracts and employee information and to have it all in one place. The look of it is nice, but it's not actually as easy to use nor is it as "customizable" as people were telling us.

    Since moving to their new Payroll service (Trax Payroll) BambooHR has been in the business of keeping us from HR compliance and has made processing payroll much more time consuming and frustrating. All with a lack of professional and effective customer support. They have mishandled payroll taxes, W-2's and account access once we notified them of changing to a better HR management solution. This has truly been a nightmare that won't end.

    BambooHR could be considered one of the most extensive and practical human resource management services when working with employees, whether they are candidates to work within the company or regular time employees who require administrative desert on our part. BambooHR is shown as a simple service when it comes to manage the views of employees or their activity during the hours of service, in order to evaluate them properly and offer a better administrative management of the payments that will be made in exchange for these hours. It integrates very well with employee search boards, allowing us to get the most suitable information for our company based on the parameters we set, and thus the results are prospects to employees who are more likely to meet the profile we want to get for the company. The platform has a very convenient chart creator, which allows to implement all kinds of information of the employees added to the company, such as the number of absences that have been reflected in our employee record detector, which is used for each worker to record their arrival time for the day. The BPM system can not only be used to cover online work operations, but also those that are carried out in person, in a face-to-face manner. This feature is what makes BambooHR such a versatile service for large businesses that require a lot of staff, such as supermarkets or government activities.
    Since it shows all the results performed during the recruitment processes, it would be quite useful to implement BambooHR in order to get new employees and to be able to gradually create a fully modern network, with a constantly updated staff of employees who can bring in fresh ideas. Is recommended to work extensively with large lists of personnel reports, which could be useful for human resources departments that focus on generating payments to employees based on their work capacity. Basically it is useful for payroll departments (in the area of human resources accounting) of large companies with different branches. Since it unifies the information of all employees of a given branch or franchise, it could be used to access the employee records of the whole company, and check if employees have had the opportunity to work in another branch. This way, if required, the employee could be changed for another one, as a rotation, and a generalist work network could be created, where each branch has the same methodologies.
    BambooHR has the ability to connect to cloud services to store working hours information on the web. This information is easily accessible once the platform has been connected to the cloud and the security parameters have been configured so that only a certain group of selected people can review them. BambooHR also integrates with CRM services, so that contact management tools can be used to reach employees more quickly, making it a less time consuming process to interact and communicate with them regarding work and deliverables. in any case, this compatibility can be used to streamline work in general. BambooHR has an excellent application for tracking the activity of our employees, which we use to review their progress and any mistakes they may make, and correct them well in advance. otherwise not doing this would risk the information in the reports not being correct and being sent out, causing problems. Using BambooHR turned out to be much easier than we expected at first, considering that our company is relatively new and we had not used a software specialized in human resources before. We are satisfied with the use of the service and can proceed to recommend it to the entire community of human resources managers. We have liked this support service more than usual, as their representatives are other human resources workers with extensive experience in the area, and they are in charge of offering high-level advice regarding any of the topics we wish to address with the platform and the administrative tools it offers.
    In case you are working with spreadsheets, BambooHR does not update the information if you have any integration to web services, as in the case of Google spreadsheets, or Microsoft Excel extension, which practically conditions our way of working with these documents. The databases used within the platform are generally SQL, which leaves aside databases from services such as MongoDB, which work with chained data to obtain different characteristics of movement and transfer of information. We believe that the platform is not good for creating a schema based on information from such data lists that we can include in our self-service oriented operations. The sending of e-mails is also quite limited by the platform, as it does not allow us to send e-mails simultaneously to all delegated workers in our staff. Because of this, the process of sending invitations to special work sessions is more difficult.

    We ended up going with BambooHR because it handled its side of things smoothly and effectively, with a UI our team could use easily. We ended up pairing it with Deputy because Deputy handles the time clock, schedule management, and payroll side much more effectively, but didn't handle HR at all. They integrate behind the scenes for us to provide a comprehensive solution in our case. When we compared BambooHR to other solutions we found that overall it was less expensive than some of the other options, even with Deputy paired with it. Their support has been exceptional along the way, and their developer documentation is significant.
    Overall BambooHr has excelled in satisfying our needs. It performs well as a one-stop-shop for HR challenges. It has benefitted us as an excellent repository for personnel information both in processing prospective and new hires, as well as existing employees. It provides a fairly simple, but [the] straightforward system for managing and using time off. Some areas do need some work, however. There is no ability to set up a default set of time-off types/accruals for a new hire, which means this has to be done manually for each new employee. This creates a lot of opportunities for human error. It also has a very opaque and unhelpful API when it comes to the management of the time data; Whereas the rest of the API is exceptional. Lastly, the ability to request time off only allows for a flat number of hours in a day; it doesn't allow the employee to request specific times. As a result, we rely on the employee and manager to communicate the time successfully in the notes field. There is a big difference between arriving 1 hour late, leaving 1 hour early, and stepping out for an extended lunch.
    It provides an extensive system for setting up time off accruals and managing their balances. It has a powerful system for managing user permissions to allow supervisors access to necessary areas and limit the access of employees. It provides a very useful set of auditing tools and reports, both for tracking changes to employee profiles and who made the changes. It has a clean UI that makes it easy for less tech-savvy users to interact with their HR data.
    It could use the ability to create default profile settings for new employees to allow them to default to having certain time off and permissions settings. The API could use some more work on the time tracking side of things. It is very limited in that area. The reporting is not as user-friendly as it could be and can feel tedious for less tech-savvy HR users.

    BambooHR is a human resource management platform that we use in expediting the management of our human workforce and execute various roles including payroll management, applicant tracking system, workforce management among others. The platform has helped us automate our HR functions and this has enabled us keep them motivated at all times. It has helped us still capture and store our employees records safely and manage our workflows with ease by helping come up with a balanced duty rooster for our work-shifts. On payroll management, the platform has helped us address the errors associated with manual management such as having double entries or missing some altogether and this has helped improve the trust and confidence of our employees towards our company.
    Its a great platform created with the idea of helping all organizations including even the small ones and this fits well in a scenario where a company aims to expedite and improve the way they manage their human resources functions. It will bring automation and ensure that all the records and the various processes are smooth and improved all the time.It will also fit well where a company wishes to implement applicant tracking system and this will help in ensuring that your organization is able to hire and retain top and talented staff at all times.
    It's smooth and its deployment is excellent. This assures user efficiency when using the platform. Fits well in all organizations including even the SMEs. This allows them to manage their employees intuitively. Customer support is available and willing to help all users in using the platform in an adequate manner. Improves the basic HR processes and this keeps our staff motivated at all times due to accurate remuneration.
    Sometimes its affected by poor internet connections, lowering its usage. If there existed an intuitive mobile version of the platform it would diversify its usage. There were some of our HR staff who took quite some time in understanding the platform in an accurate manner.

    Although there are many products in the marketplace, there is no perfect system. BambooHR is the most economical HRIS for a small business, start-up, or business that has never had HR software. BambooHR was selected for its affordable functionality. However, if they continue to ingore the lack of functionality the pretty package will no longer have any value.
    BambooHR is a great starter HRIS for new companies or ones who have never used an HRIS. It is a good tool for the employee life-cycle, but weak in performance management and benefits. I send enhancement requests almost daily. I often ask customer service is their own HR department uses this because it sure doesn't seem as productive as it could be. BambooHR often will tell you when making inquiries to find out if they can enhance a feature that if you don't like it, find a new product. The CEO has often said he cares more about employees than customers, because if they are happy the customers will be happy. This is indicative of the lack of real change and the lame 30-30 monthly promos that attempt to suggest changes are being made when no productive changes really every happen.
    BambooHR has a top-notch electronic onboarding process. It is fully customizable and works very well with applicants of all technological capabilities. Onboarding allows you to add every step the new employee and the business partners must complete through timed, dated, notifications, digital documents, e-signatures, and a back-end administrative ability to follow up. BambooHR has good applicant tracking system. They currently integrate with indeed and ZipRecruiter. However, it is easy to create links for other platforms with the ability to distinguish where you are getting recruiting traction. In addition the ability to rate, and communicate about an applicant is confidential between the hiring managers and HR. Also, there is an easy way to create a candidate pool of eligible candidates for later passive recruiting, that is called Talent Pools. BambooHR has a unique feature called Announcements. This function allows various announcements to go out via email, through the application, or a combination of both to directed target audiences or the entire company. BambooHR also sends out announcements (customizable) on every new hire. This allows folks to see who is starting and learn a bit about them before they meet them. BambooHR has a great function for tracking time by the task or job. This is great for tracking productivity gaps for administrative positions or job costing for positions that have billable hours. BambooHR also has easy to organize digital documents. You can easily upload documents via drop and drag. Documents can be added to folders and then downloaded later if an employee terminates. Goal in performance management are very good, they follow the SMART methodology but there is no way to attach them to a performance review. They do allow the employee to adjust using a slide bar and you can attach people to a goal. In addition it notifies the supervisor but you cannot shut off notifications.
    BambooHR really needs to improve their time tracking. Hours need to be shown by weekly total or at least have the option. The employees should have to actually approve their time and then if they need a change go in and approve it again. This would create a better audit trail to print for DOL claims that an employer is messing with a timecard without having to keep separate documentation that a request was being made. In addition, if you pull a payroll report, the totals don't always calculate correctly. They either need to show the rounding or show the full digits. The onboarding and offboarding processes need to hold to email until the user finishes customizing the tasks to be sent. When the tasks are all set up ahead and then backed out by person hired, they should not go out until they are finished being adjusted. Currently as soon as you import, it notifies the person assigned to the task. Former employees should have access to the system for at least three years. There is no reason we should have to manually give them documents such as pay statements, or W-2s manually. BambooHR needs to have better search options, you should be able to search by nickname, maiden name, social security, birthday, etc. Recently bambooHR added the ability to organize employee documents by folder, but they took the ability to download documents en mass. They need to add that back. It is a very difficult to download folder by folder. BambooHR shows all birthday in a rolling format on the home page. This is great, but they should only show 10-30 days before and after (customer choice). When you have limited employees a birthday can show up months ahead. They have a signed documents report to track and remind those who have not yet signed digital documents. However, it would be better if you had an option to notify supervisors when they are dragging their heels. In addition, there needs to be a way to archive the document list when completed and create a new one by date even if you are using the same document. This is an absolute cluttered mess and very messy to track and follow up on. DocuSign does it much better. There needs to be a way to pull a payroll report with salaries and standard hours for exempt employees with the hourly employees. Trax is not always a payroll option and you need a way to pull a report looking for variances. Performance management is weak. You cannot customize it at all. It only fits the functionality they want you to use. Benefits stink if you have more than one option per benefit. They really need to upgrade this function. Report data is garbage. The time accruals show rounded totals and allow employees to go negative. Customer service thinks it is bad idea to stop an employee from going negative in their time off. This should be the customer's choice. They refuse to change this function.

    Much of the other software/services that we have used in this arena have not been as fully-featured as BambooHR. In most cases, BambooHR works better as an HRIS than the above, but it also comes with an additional cost. As a smaller company, it becomes harder to justify that cost, and we've found that it's better to leverage something like Microsoft Teams with other services, such as HRdownloads.com (not selectable) for a lower cost solution. Nonetheless, BambooHR's feature set is impressive and if the cost and ROI works out, it's the better option.
    First of all, BambooHR is not cost-effective if you do not have a lot of processes that you are looking to streamline. In short, you need to examine what you are currently doing and determine whether BambooHR has an equivalent process that can replace it and help make things smoother. Mid-size companies might have better success with BambooHR given the cost, as well, but smaller companies can manage if the budget is there. If you're looking to provide more self-serve options to employees and free up your HR team/individual to do more on the strategy and development side of HR, BambooHR can definitely help with that. Ultimately, you need to consider the ROI on BambooHR and whether its implementation will provide the right amount of benefits to justify the change overall, which may be harder than it sounds in some cases.
    Self-serve: employees can now be more involved in updating and reviewing their documents and employee file. What was once a passive process has become much more active for them. Onboarding workflows: we have been able to create a simplified and almost automated process to help make the onboarding of a new employee seamless. Instead of a paper checklist and/or printing documents, we have a full package that can be sent and tracked via BambooHR. User friendly: The service is user friendly and easy to pick up and learn for all users, whether admin or regular employee. This makes adoption a lot simpler.
    The reports functionality is somewhat limited and doesn't always allow for you to get as granular as you'd like. What's there works for the most part, but more detailed analytics would be helpful. Simplicity can be a double-edged sword: while the service is easy to use and simplified, this means that some of the more advanced things you might expect from an HRIS are not present, including more customization options. Mobile app is limited and could be more fully featured as it's a bit disappointing to see that they are not the same.

    BambooHR is our HR software. We use it to manage human resources information across the entire company. Employees can use BambooHR to request time off, look up other employees' titles / managers / roles, see new hires, view company-wide announcements, and see who is on vacation that day. It allows employees to get insightful information about their colleagues instantly. Employees can also see an overview of their own job and information: hire date, benefits, documents, travel info, and more. This is helpful to HR as they plan events, arrange travel, etc.
    BambooHR is a wonderful tool for medium sized companies with lots of employees. It offers a very smooth onboarding process for new hires, even before their first day of work, and will reduce the need for copious printed onboarding materials. The ability to look up other employees' information, managers, team info, etc. at any time after onboarding is extremely valuable.
    Helpful homepage that includes lots of useful information at a glance. I especially like the "Who's Out" section which shows photos of all the employees not in the office. Because we are a global company with lots of offices in different time zones, it's essential to know who's on vacation for communication purposes. The interface is very user friendly. The functionality felt intuitive the first time I used it: I instantly knew how to request time off, look up other employees, etc. The employee directory is very useful. It displays everyone's title, photo, LinkedIn, contact info, etc. It's easy to search by name, title, department, etc. and to create custom filters.
    I receive lots of BambooHR email notifications announcing new hires. I'd like to reduce the volume of these, or have them combined into a single email (our new employees always start in batches at the start of every month). However, I can't see a way to opt out or disable these notifications as a user. When I initially onboarded and filled out my employee information, the phone number field was uneditable. Not sure if this was a glitch, but I ended up having to contact my company's HR and have them manually add my number for me on their end. I almost never use the "Files" section of BambooHR -- the documents don't seem to be grouped or organized in an easy-to-follow way. Our company uses a different platform to host our wikis, department info, etc.

    I did a lot of research on HRIS before choosing BambooHR. For those thinking about using BambooHR, really look at how your structure is set up and how you want it to work when the product goes live. For example, we have two divisions in two different locations. Both divisions are very unique and what one division needed the other did not. Getting this figured out before implementation will help alleviate the need for a lot of change once the system goes live. For our company, BambooHR was by far the best fit for us. The best thing about this product is the customization and the ease in which we were able to implement the system. From the time we decided to go with BambooHR to the time it was implemented and functional was a little over a month! My dedicated implementation specialist, Carol Brogdon was great to work with during the implementation of the system. I am not IT expert or tech person, and this was easy! The customization of the system allows (from the beginning) you to create a system in which each user can see as mush or as little of the information as needed. Since implementation, I have even been able to customize more information on the site that is specific to our needs with two different locations and divisions. The time off feature allows our employees to request time off from their smart phones or pc quickly and for our admin and foremen the calendar of "Who's Out" is extremely useful, especially for looking ahead and seeing who will be out on vacations or sick/holiday time. Anniversary dates and birthdays are visible and there is no longer a need to keep a spreadsheet with this information. The reports that can be generated on training, time off balances, licensing, etc has been a time saver. The ability to transform these reports into PDF, excel and even share custom reports as needed has been very beneficial to us. On-boarding, off-boarding, completing forms as needed has been extremely efficient utilizing the uploading of files and then setting up the signature templates (no more paper pushing or waiting for people to sign and return documents). Uploading files to share with all employees or just a few employees is also a great tool. We utilize the company announcements to send important information to some or all of our employees. The notes section has been invaluable for our managers to document information and if an employee moves to a new location, the new manager now has that information at their fingertips. Our employees can update their address, marital status, with-holdings, etc all from their dashboard. No longer do they have to wonder if the HR department has their most current information because they see what is on file for them with the company when they log in. We have yet to utilize the Job Openings component yet. This was a big draw, as we had experienced a large growth last year. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending) our hiring has tapered off, so we have not had the opportunity to try this out. As far as BambooHR responsiveness to any issues I have encountered, they have been very quick to resolve. I like that they are constantly trying to improve the product and take ideas and suggestions on areas of concern. This type of progressive thinking and action will make them and keep them a front runner in the HRIS world.
    Like any product, the more you use it, the easier it seems. There were kinks to work out when we first went live. Permissions, setting up employee fields and email alerts all needed some tweeking, but again, the system and BambooHR support was great getting through the learning curve. I did opt to go with Maxwell health for the online health care enrollment piece and I have been live with BambooHR since January 2016 and I am still not live with Maxwell Health and do not know when I will be, so if you are thinking of that option, I would really look into other options as it does not seem to be as responsive or as dynamic as BambooHR despite what the sales pitch shows.

    We've used BambooHR since 2017, moving from tracking information via spreadsheets and paper forms to fully electronic. The implementation process takes preparation to ensure you have quality information imported into the system and is worth the time and effort. The implementation specialist works with you to ensure you're on track and implementation goes smoothly. If you take the time to introduce BambooHR to employees and provide them with training, they easily adapt as this is a very user-friendly system. Over the years we've added additional custom table to track information and the Bambooligans have been very responsive. I highly recommend BambooHR!

    The reporting tool is excellent. It has allowed us to analyse sickness and timeoff especially over the last 2 years during the pandemic. We also used API to access everyone's phone number to send a text message update at the start of the pandemic to let everyone know what course we were taking. On a broader note, the Employee Survey has given us areas to address and we are improving our eNPS score every 6 months, which is great for employee engagement. We have recently started using the Hiring function which is proving very popular with the management team, allowing them to record their comments and share with others their thoughts on CVs and candidates, as well as being able to email the candidate through BambooHR, making an offer and onboarding. Great to have this functionality all in one place, it makes for a more efficient process.
    The software is easy to navigate and employees love using it. We have integrated it with other applications which works well allowing us to keep track of training. Best use has been through Time Off, Perfomance Management, Hiring, Onboarding/Offboarding, eNPS Employee Satisfaction Surveys and the reporting is excellent. Also, very happy with help and support you get from the BambooHR team. I have asked for additinal tabs to track secruity clearances and various other things, nothing is too much trouble.
    I would like to see the 'signature' aspects improved. I have starting using this a lot, but have issues with not being able to access external emails for contract signing capability. Also, when my forms are being completed, during the process of going from one person to another, the text runs off the form. It corrects itself once the final signature is complete, but this could be vital information which is missed by the final signer.

This software allows you a huge capacity regarding its deployment. Bamboohr It can be operated from any type of electronic devices since no type of installation is needed. Bamboohr customer support has a very acceptable response speed, as well as being very friendly at all times. It is the best services.
    The platform offers us a good management of the documentation of our employees. It is easy to make detailed follow-ups about the activity of each employee, and their work time. The same thing happens with the follow-up of the candidates, and their abilities, because this is very complete. Another advantage of bamboohr is that the work can be organized so that specific employees can manage the rest. Bamboohr has proven to be a very reliable service, with which we can support all the work reports of our staff, and much more. The platform has also been of great help to achieve a more methodical workflow, and for the whole team to be aware of the skills and talents of each member of the team. Thanks to this we can create work strategies based on these skills.
    Bamboohr offers a quite poor smartphone application. This is much better when used directly from the web page. The Platform does not offer enough communication tools. It does not handle motors of revision of curricular summaries, and neither it allows to administer criminal records (in the case of the candidates).

    Where do I even begin? All other HR systems out there should take note: BambooHR is how you do HR. My company was in need of software that dramatically cut down our paper usage, particularly for the onboarding process. The paperwork folder that I'd hand each new hire on their first day, was far too much and too overwhelming. With BambooHR, we are now able to have that onboarding process be completely electronic and have each new employee complete their new hire packet before their start date, at their leisure. That way, their first day (really, just about their entire first week) could be spent participating in valuable hands-on training sessions. No one wants to be bogged down with a massive folder of documents on their very first day at work, and the likelihood of employees retaining any of that information while a ton of other thoughts and nerves are flying through their heads on that first day, is VERY low. With BambooHR, new and veteran employees can revisit that information anytime they'd like. The PTO feature is top-notch: employees can view a time-off calendar within the software and request off without having to physically check-in with HR or their direct reports, first. All that's needed from me or directs, is approval or denial of such requests. Job benefits, bonuses, raises, and a whole slew of other job-related information can be tracked in BambooHR, making it the most comprehensive, easy-to-use HR software that my company has ever used.!
    There are, in all honestly, absolutely no cons to this software. It'll fit into any company's budget, and I promise, your employees will enjoy it just as much as your HR team does.

    Overall I think it's easy to use and the interface is clean and easy to understand. However, there's room for improvement in most of the main features available for employees. At the moment I think there are probably better softwares for HR management (at least form the employee point of view, which is my case)
    For employees I'd say it's fairly easy to use. The dashboard is very straightforward and most of the tools I need to use in my day to day (to request vacations, medical visits, etc) are accesible from there and I don't have to spend time searching. They also let you customise different types of days off, which is also nice from the employee's perspective. The calendar is also very nice, I think it's one of my favourite things from the software and the filters works well.
    I think the hierarchy of the navigation could be improved. I only have the links "Home" "My info" and "People" and the only way to see any page inside "My info" is entering inside the page. Maybe they could add a dropdown with the pages that appear inside "My info" when you hover over the link in the menu.The cards inside the Dashboard don't link to the actual pages they refer to (when you click over them you expand them, but that's it).The "Upcoming Time Off" list, I don't think it's very intuitive. I'd rather have a calendar or something more visual to be able to understand which day of the week they correspond to (it's not the first time I mess up requesting a day in the calendar because the week starts on Sunday and I haven't realised about until later on). It would be much easier to check if the days I've requested are correct.
